Feraspar dove into the echoing chamber of where the cave opened up into a grand and mossy cavern. The great bird landed and folded wings inward, squatting down to allow the elf on their back to slide off. This was a place that birds had muttered of, but never been to.
It was a lair of dragons.

Dhodrimme landed on two feet silently, the feathers braided into his hair fluttering in the winds of the afterspray. It was a beautiful spot -a wonderful entrance, mossy and not too dank. He was at a loss for words. Dressed in his traveling garb, the elven prince felt he was less than satisfactory to present to the great dragons rumored to reside here.
