So begins...
Susie's Story
Susie turned quickly, "No one asked you too! No one asked her," She pointed at Esme," too save me! You would of let me died with those thugs." She looked up at Esme, her eyes full of tears as her heart broke. "You should of just killed everyone." She whispered...mostly to herself.
Susie sniffed a few times and smiled. "His name is Mr.Turtle. I had found him earlier in the dune." She said and let her hold him. "He likes me!" She said cheerfully.
Susie blushed."Turtles can only have crushes on other turtles silly!" she giggled and clapped her hands as she seen the turtle trying to get back to her. She held out her hands to the turtle and it crawled back into her palms.
Susie watched as Esme walked off. She looked down at her turtle, and nodded. "It;s okay." She whispered. "You are half naked." She giggled and blushed.
Susie nodded. She brought her knees to her chest and hugged them. "Don't do that again, though." She said barely above a whisper.
Susie hugged him then laid down looking up at the stars. "You are not so bad.....for a boy." She smiled.
Susie turned on her tummy and kicked her feet up and down. "I could let you go to sleep." She whispered to him.
Susie sat up then stood stiffly. "You can go to sleep. I can take care of myself, plus Esme is up." She walked quietly over to Esme and asked if she could walk along the beach with Mr. Turtle. Esme nodded so she kept walking.
Susie "You are just a little boy, you will learn soon enough......Cupcake." She giggled softly as she watched Susie laugh and play in the water with Mr. Turtle.
Susie "Mr. Turtle I will love you always! And only you!!" She twirled around in the water. Her foot caught on a seashell and tripped. Susie laughed as a wave crashed over her and hugged her turtle. "Away we go!" She screamed and laughed as the waves took them into sea.
Susie swam back to shore with her turtle. "See Mr. Turtle that wasn't so bad!!" She skipped over to the dune she had found him and laid down, yawning.
Susie looked up at Esme and smiled. "Hey Esme!" She giggled. "Mr. Turtle says he loves me!" Her smile weakened a bit. "And I only love him. I don't love anyone else." She said quietly.
Susie though for a moment and finally said," Only as a big brother....because I am his little sister." She didn't smile or even look up at Esme. "He said I was his little sister." Susie make a funny face, "I didn't think big brothers kissed little sisters like that." She placed the turtle on the sand next to her.
Susie eyes grew wide and stood up, "I am certainly not a boy, nor will I ever." She said crossing her arms. She looked at him sternly and tapped her foot.
Susie blushed and looked away. "Tommy..." She smiled and tackled him. "You are horrible at talking to girls!" She laughed.
