So begins...
Susie's Story
Susie woke up to the sound of Esme's voice, "Huh?" She asked rubbing her eyes. "What happened?" She asked as she saw Tommy running. She stood, wobbly and looked around seeing bodies burned and screamed falling backwards as she scrambled to get away.
Susie peeked over the dune and watched from the shadows shaking. "I-is he okay?" She asked, tears running down her face.
Susie nodded and crawled over to them but didn't cuddle near them. She watched him carefully before palcing Mr. Turtle next to him. "You scared me Tommy." She said, eyes tearing up but she had on a smile. "I'M glad that you are alright."
Susie giggled softly, "I guess not. I'll be right back." She kissed his cheek and walked off a ways so they couldn't hear her cry. She was really scared, but she couldn't show it. She heard something following, she stiffened and turned around slowly. It was just a sand crab. She squatted and poked it softly. "I hate Splicers." She whispered to herself and the crab.
Susie looked over at Esme then turned around to see a man being lifted. "Hey kid! I was just seeing if this little girl was lost!" The man screamed. "Let him go Tommy." She said softly, feeling bad for the man.
Susie looked at Tommy. "You need to be careful with the plasmids. You can't just use them whenever you feel." She said angrily. "Esme, can you take him back to the fire please." She asked.
Susie sighed and started walking towards him. Once she got there she took a seat next to him, staying quiet.
Susie sighed, "I get that, but I can protect myself somewhat. I feel useless." She looked up at the stars. "It's like the sun saying I will always shine because I am afraid you will run out of light." She said, smiling gently.
Susie raised one eyebrow as she looked him over. "You are going to stay without a shirt?" She giggled poking his tummy.
Susie faceplamed shaking her head. "I knew this one guy, he was like 17 and he never had his shirt on." She said laughing and sighed. "He was handsome."
Susie looked him over closely. "Yup. Those scars are badbutt." She laughed. "I am originally from Eastern Wing city, but I was taken to Rapture, then brought back." She said with a weak smile. She lost both her parents and her baby sister. She laid on the rock, pretending to poke the stars with her big toe.
Susie looked over at Esme who was sleeping with Mr. Turtle, "Yeah, she's pretty cool. But not as cool as you." She giggled softly and sighed. She turned her head to look at Tommy.
Susie thought back to the horrible memory, her eyes filled with tears. "Some people killed my parents and my little sister in a fire. I was in the barn when I smelled the smoke. I ran out to try and stop it, I guess they were waiting for me because the grabbed me took me to that horrible place." She wiped her eyes, sniffing.
Susie traced the scars on his body with her little fingers, "I am sorry about your family." She whispered. Her eyes glowed yellow in the dark thinking about their past.
Susie nodded and wiggled away and onto the sand. She then walked to the water letting the water run over her feet. She reached up as if to catch the moon.
Susie looked at him from the side of her eyes and tackled him. She then sat one him giggling, "RAWR!" She said while tickling him.
Susie "Oh where is this tough Tommy?" She asked while tickling him. "I don't see him anywhere." She pretend to look around, smiling.
