Townsend was once a servant and a cabal's greatest achievement. Quite also so its last one. Not that Townsend had broken free and slaughtered them all. No, that was the group of armed men that did the killing of one violent entity or another. Squabbles of Good and evil did not inspire concern Townsend overmuch as violent behavior. As the last cabalist broke Townsend's chains it looked at the men of god it was to destroy. They saw a creature fed with the blood of errant servants staring with green socketed eyes.
No longer bound to their will he replies, "I owe horrible men nothing. And so the murder ends today, Gentlemen. Good day."
The leathery flesh holding together its torso allowed a shirt from the broken to fit proper. Holy men argued over whether to murder the creature as Townsend slips into the ether. He didn't relish cleaning up and all the servants in his mind found the cabalists undignified.
The once-fine clothes had stab wounds but a bit of washing cleaned it for the most part. Clad in what it had the skeletal-headed creature with glowing green sockets and a roiling fleshy interior went looking for a new house to serve. There was always a lord or lady looking for some good tireless help.

Setting up the decorations around the Scarlet Devil Mansion was a short endeavor taken on by the various Fairy Maids, hanging ornaments and setting tables up with an assortment of tea and wine. Remilia stood and watched the maids getting to work with a slow nod of her head approvingly. "It's always good to see things go as they should; in an appropriate manner."
Flandre sat among the various maids, watching them work. She was let out on good behavior, deeming the event appropriate enough for her to be able to come out and socialize. In the meantime, all she had to do was wait for others to show...

K'gara flares her ears and takes a gander at the festivities around, her tail swaying slowly behind her
Remilia turned her head to an early arrival with a wide grin, stepping over to greet K'gara. She had seen many individuals who were native to Wing City, but...she'd never seen this person. Perhaps she wasn't from Wing City? Ah well. Dismissing the thought Remilia stood before her with a confident smile. "Greetings; I'm Remilia Scarlet, owner of this here Scarlet Devil Mansion. Welcome to the New Year's party. Please, make yourself at home, the party is still early and getting set up and will be going on until tomorrow afternoon."
K'gara looks at Remilia with her savage feral yellow eyes, her muzzle flaring to sniff a bit at the newcomer. Then returns a simple nod. Stoic, she was.
Remilia Scarlet watched K'gara curiously, such a strange individual...she had encountered her fair share of strange people though. It must have been a while though, all things considered...it wasn't that odd. Shrugging her shoulders lightly, a small fairy maid would float by to K'gara to offer her a cup of tea, wine, or one of the other beverages available for her to choose from. Included were also some appetizers and finger food to tithe one over. Those working on getting the decorations set up were nearly done, the 20's styled lights coming on accompanying the flashy and upscale ornaments. "Ah! Perfect...this should be quite a spectacle to walk into, I'm sure."
K'gara sniffs at the tea before grasping the cup and...draining it two sloshing gulps, then licking her muzzle. When the lights come on she startles a teeny bit then looks up in wonder, tail swishing. She then returned her nose to the meatier of the finger foods and chomped them out of the air, thrice biting in one jawful, one munch, and a gulp to send it down. Then she seemed to be satisfied for now
K'gara sat down on the floor cross legged after the last lump of food slid down her furry neck and out of sight behind her ribs
Arwen Montague skidded into the Mansion, sweat dripping from her brow. She looked exasperated, her face having lost the flush rose color it typically held during her workday.

K'gara stands up and looks at Arwen with her piercing eyes, a look of curiosity for the most part but it was obvious that she was a tad annoyed
Flandre Scarlet reentered the mansion after her brief excursion outside. Remilia had a look of concern on her face while seeing Flandre's giddy expression, but tried not to think too hard about it. Whatever damage she'd done, she'd have to fix it later...in the meantime, Flandre sat back at her seat cheerfully, taking a cup of tea and leaning back. "There! Now all of the people will have an easier time getting in!" As she said this, a piece of dirt and rubble fell from her shoulder. Oh dear...
Arwen Montague collected herself and realized that she'd made quite the scene, with at least one pair of prying eyes carving into her raiment. No matter, she'd always dealt with the attention in the village, this would be no different.
