Townsend was once a servant and a cabal's greatest achievement. Quite also so its last one. Not that Townsend had broken free and slaughtered them all. No, that was the group of armed men that did the killing of one violent entity or another. Squabbles of Good and evil did not inspire concern Townsend overmuch as violent behavior. As the last cabalist broke Townsend's chains it looked at the men of god it was to destroy. They saw a creature fed with the blood of errant servants staring with green socketed eyes.
No longer bound to their will he replies, "I owe horrible men nothing. And so the murder ends today, Gentlemen. Good day."
The leathery flesh holding together its torso allowed a shirt from the broken to fit proper. Holy men argued over whether to murder the creature as Townsend slips into the ether. He didn't relish cleaning up and all the servants in his mind found the cabalists undignified.
The once-fine clothes had stab wounds but a bit of washing cleaned it for the most part. Clad in what it had the skeletal-headed creature with glowing green sockets and a roiling fleshy interior went looking for a new house to serve. There was always a lord or lady looking for some good tireless help.

Townsend's Story

Flandre Scarlet sat back in her seat thinking she was going to just be left alone but soon after - well...she wasn't! The complete opposite happened, in fact! Blinking a few times she tilted her head before grinning wide. "Ah! I'm Flandre Scarlet! I'm the little sister of -- um..." She turned her head around a few times until she found her big sister. "Ah there she is! Remi!" Her attention drifted back over, now with a look of confusion. "Ah? The gardens? Why-" She began, though Remilia approaching and interjecting caught her off-guard.
Remilia Scarlet had overheard some of what was said, now standing behind her younger sister, arms crossed and her head tilted. "Welcome to the Scarlet Devil Mansion, Arwen. I'm Remilia...might I inquire what you're looking for in the Gardens?"
K'gara took the opportunity to slurp down another cup of tea from the fairies, before starting to itch behind her ear
Arwen Montague needed to smell the gardens to clear her mind, but she wasn't prepared to reveal her selfish motives just yet.
she muttered, turning to Remilia.Oh, my--
she said, the howl in the forest echoing in her head. The day had taken a strange turn, but she was glad that she'd made it to the Mansion.I am Arwen Montague, very pleased to meet you. I've been inside all day, and I just need a bit of fresh air...
Remilia Scarlet watched the both of them with a raised eyebrow, tilting her head. K'gara seemed to be taking to the mansion well, Arwen...well...she almost seemed as if she had ran a marathon, or had been chased. "My sister didn't give you trouble, did she?" She said briefly, looking down to Flandre who shook her head as if to protest whatever it was Remilia was thinking. Letting out a soft sigh she motioned to the door leading into the backyard. "Out there is where the garden is. I believe Meiling is still out there, assuming she hasn't dozed off again. If you need anything, the fairy maids can assist you."
K'gara was now relaxing enough to devour more of the finger food provided by the fairies, one bite after another finding a new home in her belly

Arwen Montague looked back to Remilia and curtsied.
she happily finished, eager to settle her mind from the scare....I thank you for your direction. I'll be back inside to join the rest of you in a moment!
Arwen Montague looked over to K'gara, wondering what was drawing their attention before heading out into the gardens. Eager to smell the roses, she didn't even look back despite a few boisterous jeers from the corner of the room.
K'gara just relaxed for now and took in the sights as her stomach got to work quietly, but audibly to anyone who had keen enough ears.
Gina Inviere takes notice of the idle rumble of her Reverence II high in the sky, curious for a moment.
Remilia Scarlet raised an arm to shield her eyes from the light, half-expecting to see Marisa having come to cause a scene however she was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't in fact the troublesome magician but...well, someone else. Offering a small curtsy to the new guest she smiled. "Welcome to the Scarlet Devil Mansion. I am Remilia Scarlet. Please, make yourself at home." She motioned to the various fairy maids floating about, doing the typical duties issued to valets. "If you need refreshments; we have tea, wine, soda, water...anything you could get normally." Saying this she looked back to the rest of those here...well...the only one around at the moment anyways, K'gara.
