Personality – Due to her isolation and secluded life Velox can be very wary at times, especially when encountering a stranger in the forest, however if the stranger has no weapons or is a merchant she relaxes a little and can even be slightly accommodating, although her lack of contact with people has left her people skills slightly lacking and can sometimes come off as a little strange. Due to her life spent in hiding she knows very little about the outside world and so never passes up the opportunity to buy or trade anything new and exciting she hasn’t seen before from travelling merchant that stumble across her in the forest. Because of her interest and lack of contact with the outside world Velox can be very naïve sometimes which can cause some problems and lead to her having to abandon her home and find a new place to live in order to stay hidden. Her life in hiding leaves her feeling lonely sometimes but she spends her time occupied with training and reading and studying the different books and trinkets she has collected over the years.
Weapons –
Whip – About 5 meters long with three tips, each tip carrying a small blade. It’s brown and made of leather and curled at her hip when not being used. The handle is about 30cm long and covered with braided leather.
Throwing knives, shuriken – Held in the pouch on her leg. Carry’s about 30 of each. The knives can be used for close combat. The shuriken are classic star shaped, made of steel and razor sharp with a hole in the centre big enough to slip a finger through. The kunai have a handle length of 10 cm, which is covered in white grip tape, with a circle at the base with a hole in big enough to fit a finger through. The blade is another 10 cm long with the widest point being only 3 cm wide. The kunai are also razor sharp.
Armour – None. She relies on her Barrier abilities as well as her speed and reflexes to evade attacks.
In the following sections I’ll be using the form a friend of mine devised to explain each spell and ability.
Name: Name of ability/spell

|-Target: This explains what the target may be, be it a single person, or a tree. Or up to an 'area of effect' (aka; AOE). For 'Passive' skills, as they are activated (on self) they will remain active for a period.
|-Mana drain: This is the basic mana drain, all from none at all, to severe.
Mana drain levels: None, slight, low, moderate, high, severe, insane.
After insane, one is normally not able to cast another spell until more energy is gained, often results in unconsciousness. If the spell has a varying level, it will be displayed as a 'Min - Max' system.
|-Casting Procedure: the way the spell is cast, this contains the way it can be identified as well.
|-Explanation: This will explain what the spell does, and how it might affect things.
|-Counteraction: This will explain the best way to counter, or nullify the spell. If there is none, the word 'none' will be displayed, and one will have to physically evade the spell, or the AOE[/font]
Abilities –
Name: Auto-Levitate

Casting procedure: Not needed, its permanent
Explanation: Due to her perfection of Green and Time magic Velox is permanently floating about 20 cm above the ground, or any other surface her body would have its weight resting upon. The ability does not work when she is unconscious however.
Counteraction: Do not use attacks that effect the ground
Name: Energy Shuriken
Element: None
Target: Person
Mana Drain: Medium-high
Casting Procedure: Holds hand out palm up and concentrates
Explanation: Creates energy Shuriken. Otherwise identical to a normal shuriken, but explodes upon impact. Drains mana for each created, thus only used when real shuriken and kunai are exhausted. Size can be increased at will, but the larger the shuriken the more mana is used.
Counteraction: Dodge, block
Name: Ghost Prototype
Element: None
Target: Self and person
Mana drain: Severe
Casting procedure: Hands are thrown to the side to cast Super-Alacrity and Ghost, energy projectiles form in her open palm.
Explanation: Casts Super-Alacrity and Ghost on herself and runs all around the enemy faster than a human eye can follow whilst throwing energy made shuriken. Projectiles appear to come from nowhere, all at once, from all directions and exploding on impact.
This attack uses a lot of energy and so is only used in the most desperate of situations.
Counteraction: Get a lucky hit, dodge
Name: Barrier
Element: None
Target: Self
Mana drain: None
Casting Procedure: None, is permanent as long as the ring is being worn.
Explanation: An ability given to her by wearing the red gem ring on her left hand it projects an invisible barrier around her entire body, extending about 50cm away from it. This barrier provides a very small resistance to physical and magickal attacks, an opponent would feel a small amount of resistance, slowing and absorbing their attack slightly reducing damage by a small amount should the attack connect. She can also feel when and where pressure is being exerted on the shield giving her an extra split second to react. This ability acts as her armour.
Counteraction: Use fast attacks so she still has no time to dodge, powerful attacks as the damage is only slightly reduced
Magic –
Name: Delay
Element: None
Target: Anything/person
Mana drain: Slight
Casting procedure: She puts her hands up creating a large golden clock face, its hands spinning wildly, appear in front of her. The 3 hands slow down before breaking off towards the target at speed.
Explanation: Each clock hand that strikes the target reduces their speed by 15% of their full speed, for a total of 45% speed loss for several minutes. No damage is received. A person can still think at normal speed while their body is slowed down.
Counteraction: Dodge, block the clock hands with anything other than target.
Name: Alacrity
Element: None
Target: Anything/self
Mana drain: Low
Casting procedure: She puts her hands up creating a large red clock face, its hands moving regularly, appear in front of her. The 3 hands rapidly speed up before the clock hands break away towards the target at speed.
Explanation: Each clock hand that strikes the target increases its speed by 33% for several minutes. No damage is received
Counteraction: Dodge, block clock hands with anything other than target
Name: Hinder
Element: None
Target: Anything/ person
Mana drain: Low
Casting Procedure: She puts her hands up creating a large silver clock face, its hands spinning wildly, appear in front of her. The 3 hands slow to a stop before breaking off towards the target at speed.
Explanation: If all clock hands strike the target it become immobile for a short time. No damage is received. A person can still think at normal speed while immobile.
Counteraction: Dodge, block clock hands with anything other than target
Name: Ghost effect
Element: None
Target: Self
Mana drain: moderate
Casting procedure: Raises hand straight up which starts to fade, resulting in her whole body becoming invisible
Explanation: Makes her invisible and thus harder to hit with melee attacks, a single hit with a magic spell cancels it immediately, otherwise lasts a few minutes. All objects and clothing of Velox’s will also become invisible.
Counteraction: A melee hit will hurt just as much as when visible, being hit with any kind of magic spell cancels the effects immediately.
Name: Levitate

Mana drain: none-high depending on the target
Casting procedure: Throws out a hand and makes a raising motion
Explanation: Circles of energy, extending to a maximum diameter of 8m surround the area lifting anything there 30cm from the ground/surface/etc for about 20 minutes. Raised object is easier to push around having little resistance.
Counteraction: Move away from the area
Name: Amaurotic
Element: None
Target: Persons face
Mana drain: low
Casting procedure: 4 black smoke orbs, the size of a soccer ball, appear around Velox and fly at speed towards the target at her command.
Explanation: Each smoke orb that collides with the targets face creates a small smoke cloud that hovers in front of the targets face for a few minutes. Each orb reduces visibility by 25%.
Counteraction: Stopping the orbs from hitting the targets face by a weapon, arm, etc. Moving head fast enough at lower concentrations will cause the smoke to lag and catch up to the face allowing a quick clear view. Other senses.

Casting procedure: A pink orb is fired at the enemy from her hand
Explanation: If the orb comes into contact with any part of the target it causes the targets brain to release melatonin into the body causing the target to fall asleep for a short time.
Counteraction: Dodge or stop the orb with something other than a body part. Immunity or inability to sleep. A single attack will wake the target up.

Casting procedure: A purple orb is fired at the enemy from her hand
Explanation: If the orb comes into contact with any part of the target it prevents the target from using magick for a short time.
Counteraction: Dodge or stop the orb with something other than a body part, immunity.

Explanation: A Stronger version of barrier, reduces physical attack damage by more for a few minutes.

Explanation: Cures most wounds fully save for major lifethreatening ones. AOE can range from the size of a penny to a diamter of 1 metre.

Casting procedure: Her hand glows with a green light and is held over the afflicted area.
Explanation: Cures negative status effects. AOE can range from the size of a penny to a diameter of 30 cm
Counter action: Dont allow her to hold her hand over the area for long enough.

Casting procedure: She throw a hand out, palm open and her whole body glows green briefly.
Explanation: Wounds heal slowly and her physical stamina regenerates slowly for a few minutes
Counteraction: Stop her mid cast, keep damaging her so the regeneration is negated.

Casting procedure: A black orb is released from her hand
Explanation: When hit with the orb a rift in space opens over the target twisting and flattening their muscles before straightening them again, causing extreme pain. The same effect happens to whatever the orb collides with.

Casting procedure: Raises a hand creating a black gravitational sphere, 4 meters in diameter, in the air.
Explanation: A gravitational sphere is created in the air, about 5 meters above the target, above the target. It is then lowered onto the target forcing their body flat to the ground while exerting an incredibly powerful gravitation force, flattening muscle and bone.
Counteraction: Avoid the sphere, land an attack on Velox

Explanation: A large asteroid about the size of a car or small house comes hurtling out of the sky falling towards the target causing an explosion and shockwave upon impact

Other Skills – Due to her incredibly old age, she has lots of life experience and has seen most things happen at some point. She understands the woods and the plants that grow there as she has lived most of her life alone in the middle of forests.
History – Velox was born in the city or Archon, her parents being professors of the city’s Magickal University. Growing up, Velox started to learn Green magick as a child from her mother and Time magick from her father. She soon learned to use these in conjunction with each other and became a great mage already at a young age, one of the best in the university. As she reached late teens she began working on a new spell that would completely stop a person from aging. After months of studying techniques and motions she attempted to use her spell upon herself. However it did not work as intended and it backfired, sending her flying across the room and ending in a trip to the hospital. Because of this she shelved her research and began to delve into some other spells instead. A few years later and Velox had not aged at all and word had spread through the city that she had not aged since the accident. She was home alone one evening when the first men came and attacked her with the intention of forcing her to reveal the secret of her spell. She managed to defend herself and escape into the city and spent the night wandering around afraid of more attacks. As morning dawned upon the city she headed home with her mind made up as to what she had to do. She told her parents and said her goodbyes and left to spend the rest of her life in hiding to keep her spell a secret.
Many hundreds of years have gone by and Velox has aged only a couple of years. She is much wiser now and acts calm in most situations. She currently lives deep in a forest away from civilization continuously training and perfecting her spells and attacks should the need to defend the secrets of her
