Alexander had finished talking to the person and was waving goodbye as he collected his things.
"Shit... Just be on the lookout for anything suspicious, okay? Don't trust ANY psychics," he answered and dived into the bush once more.

As Alexander wandered back his phone rang and was answered. A moment later he hung up and let out a soft sigh. "Looks like its back to the office for us," he said apologetically, "Zee arrived back early and he needs to rebriefed."

Verse's words register just as the Boss's catch up with him. 'Don't trust ANY psychics,' his eyes widen, 'Zee arrived back early...'

"Ah, shit." He verbalizes, hopping down from the bench to follow the boss. His nerves standing on end. This is not going to end well. He thinks.

It was nice to be out in the park on a warm day. Grace was back in short denim overalls and a white top underneath, boots on her feet and a wind-brimmed hat on her head. Being sun smart was just common sense! For once she didn't have her Kirlia around her, but instead was tutting with a smile as she had to pick leaves from Verse's spines. Why he had been ferreting around in the bushes she didn't know but he was just silly!

Ozzy had foregone his suit for the day. Dressed casually for hiking in comfortable pants, a t-shirt, and hiking boots. 4 pokeballs on his belt, positioned for easy draw. He'd only been able to hide a single weapon on his person, but he wasn't overly worried. He smiles lazily as he watches Grace muck around with her pokemon, the sandslash - another of his targets that he wasn't sure he was targeting anymore.

"Are we having fun?" He asks as he walks up to them, looking down at Grace with a grin on his lips.

Grace raised her head up to look at Ozzy with a matching grin. "Verse is always fun in his own way," she joked as she scooped her hands under his arms and lifted him up to sit in her lap, spines facing away of course, "Mostly when he gets into trouble and expects me to get him out of it."

Verse turned his head about to look at Ozzy for a moment, then raised a claw to point at him. "Hey, hey you. Got a question for ya. Have you been getting 'soft' lately?" he asked, but of course all that came out was babbling 'Sand' and 'slash' repeatedly.

Grace giggled and also looked at Ozzy. "I think Verse is asking why you've been spending so much time with me lately," she translated and then leaned with one elbow on the back of the bench to watch Ozzy as if expecting an answer.

Ozzy quirks a grin at the odd Sandslash. Hard to believe this little guy was complicit in the theft of a spaceship. He thinks. Maybe that monster of a Charmeleon forced him into it? Not much word of them being together after coming to Ridgecrest. Sighing internally, he smiles slyly at Grace as she asks her question. Laughing as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

"Because I like you, obviously," He says, as if it should have been obvious. He'd not really been trying to hide it. That was his mission after all. To get close to her. Now though... "You make me feel like a different person." He laughs at his own bad joke, and leans back into the bench.

How much indeed? He thinks to himself, head leaned back with a thoughtful grin on his face. "Enough to let you live with me," He starts, turning his head to look her in the eye. "Even though it could be dangerous." He grins, "No, especially because you could be in danger. Enough to care about your well being." A bit much, he thinks. Ending on something more lighthearted. Grinning at her confidently. "Enough to go on a trip with you, yeah?"

She listened and watched him the entire time with a smile on her face and slowly going redder than a tomato. She didn't have a good answer for all of that, so instead Grace just giggled nervously and looked back at Verse, idly playing with the pokemons claws. "I had a look for ticket prices," she finally said, "I don't think we'll be able to get any cheap unless someone else drops out but I'm going to keep my eyes open for that."

Verse narrowed his eyes, voice sounding put-off. "Where you goin'..."

Grace let out a happy sigh. "Good. I don't know what I'd do without my Kirlia," she said as she relaxed back on the bench, tilting her head back to stare at the sky, "I always wanted one, you know?"

Verse suddenly seemed a little on edge. He was talking vividly and expressively but his trainer didn't seem to notice at all. "You had a Kirlia, it evolved into a Gallade, he's dead now. Do you even know? Do you even care?"

Grace nodded. "Yeah I have everything I need, and no work on the weekend!" she said in celebration, throwing her arms up in the air, then sighing, "C'mon Verse, get off so I can get up."

Verse jumped up off of her lap and landed on the ground, claws scuffling at the ground. "I'm not comin'," Verse muttered, "I've got friends who need me more than you, and who care about me a lot god damn more than you."

Grace stood up and dusted her lap off, turning her head towards Ozzy. "Want to get some ice cream?" she asked with a grin.

A smile crossed her face as she straightened up like she always knew he would accept. "Then it is settled. We will begin training at once, starting with mounting," she said. Even Grace had never ridden on her back before. It could be difficult to ride an upstart of a Rapidash.

But weaving through the crowd just in time was Verse. "Hey guys," he called out as he finally came into speaking range. He looked a little downtrodden, but seeing the pair of them put a smile on his face.

"Woah woah, you can't just be planning on jumping on her back," Verse started as he stared at the pair.
"And why not?" Natasha asked as she knelt down two legs at a time until she was laying on the ground, "Climb on Bic."

"He's gonna fall off," Verse answered, folding his arms, "And you're both going to lo... Uh..." He had suddenly lifted an inch off of the ground and his head tilted down to stare as gravity seemed to leave him and only him, now rotating lazily in the air as he lifted further up.
