Victoria is one of those people who, when smiling, seem much younger. Serious-faced, though, she appears her age. Victoria is not one to stand out in a crowd - her brown hair, brown eyes, and drab clothes serve her well. She often wears self-crafted outfits, like her unique 'skirts' which allow easy movement, but aren't loose enough to be snagged, and white armbands with black insides to wipe away soot. If necessary, she will adopt the clothing of a town or country to blend in, too.
Personality
Personality: Victoria seems to have an easy-going personality at first - she'll shake your hand, give you a troublesome grin, and maybe complain about a thing or two. Get to know her on a 'acquaintance' level, and you'll soon learn she's rather odd - a shoot first, shoot later, figuratively take a nap even later, and then maybe ask questions. If you are somehow become her friend, or at least someone she hangs about with, you may discover she's really like a mix of her two impressions - nice, sweet, with good skill at posing for a wallflower and odd, crazy, a style all her own, and mania about par with that of a teenage girl's.
Virtues: Ability to quickly analyze a situation and not rushing to conclusions, Isn't one for inaction, and not the person to be initially rude.
Vices: Sometimes doesn't think things through, Her inability to be patient (Jumping the gun, if you will.)
Skills: Marksmanship, mainly. She is farsighted, but a cannon is easy enough for her to man. Her skill with a blade is amateurish, at best, but dodging is another forte of hers. Victoria is a horrible cook. Other than that, it seems she has skill with a needle and thread, as she makes her own clothes - but if her usually-calloused and red thumbs are anything, it's not without obstacles.
Secrets: Victoria has never been called 'nice' by the same person twice - though she makes jokes about it often, it's brought up often because in truth, it hurts. She's accepted that, but feels inwardly disappointed she didn't turn out to be a better person.
Originally, the nickname 'Boom-Boom' came from her friends. She, as a young child, obtained a toy gun. Playing pirates with her friends, she'd shoot them all dead with her childish "Boom-boom!" cry. After her friends were all 'dead', she'd shoot herself. So they called her 'Boom-Boom' as they grew older. To this day, she'll never say why she shot herself dead too. Maybe, at that young age, she could already feel the guilt. Or maybe... Maybe. Something else?
Her hate is invisible, but it's there - like a deadly snake hidden in the grass, waiting for its chance to explode and destroy. But whom does she hate?
How, exactly, did Victoria lose, or get rid of, or sever all ties with her family and friends? Shh. It's a secret.

Reason for Leaving: Leaving? As a small, poor child living in the slums, Victoria always dreamed of adventure. So really, she's not leaving, just traveling - and if she is to die, well, death is just the next great adventure, no? Free of parents, of friends, of any bonds whatsoever, she wants to try again, to try everything over. To take another chance.
History: Victoria, named after a noblewoman her mother once served, was one of the few kids in the slums with parents, a fancy name, and a skill. Just one of those would be cause for jealousy, but having all three made her the object of hatred and at the same time fascination with all the other Johns, Jills, Marys, and Harrys out there. They strived to become her friend, or strived to get away from her. And not once did Victoria, or Vicky, want it. After a while, there were a few who did call themselves her friends - she had what some would call an inner circle. As they all grew up, or died from poverty, each began to separate, leaving the hub, Victoria, alone. So she dreamed, and she learned about guns. If people could see her as tough and scary instead of cute and kind, maybe they would pay attention to her, listen to her - the others who had hated her as children.
But that was when she found her true self, her real self - somewhere between kind and scary, dark and light, good and evil. And she took to sailing.
