Visenya was born to a noble elven couple who were members of the two rivaling houses in the forest realm of Gaia. Since her mother and father was forbidden to be together and to marry, they chose to give Visenya up for adoption and to hide her existence from the forest realm. They sent her to the kingdom of Skyfall, where an old friend of Visenyas father would take the baby girl on and raise her as her own.

As Visenya grew older her new mother, Madame Thaldira, took her to see an oracle, since visions of a future Visenya in distress had begun to make themselves known to the mage. The oracle confirmed madame Thaldiras suspicions, the elven child was destined for great things. She called her
