"The forest warns us of the cabin, an omen.. very peculiar" Mat said under his breath. He watched as she tilted her head and noticed he never really left her eyesight. He began to think to himself, "I wonder, I might not be as welcomed here as I thought I was. Hopefully if I keep myself this way, I won't .. change."
Mat lifted his hands and moved them towards the flame. He was cautious not to set his long sleeves aflame. The water that drenched it assured that it wouldn't. "Thank you!" he said with a large smile. "How very thoughtful you.." He stopped midway in his sentence. Hearing something in the distance. "You are" he would finish he sentence as if he heard nothing at all.

Sairia turned to Lucario as he leaned out the door, flashing him a light smile, "This is Mat, the rain brought him, but we've decided to take our chances outside. He hasn't stepped into the cabin yet." Her deep blue eyes rested on Mat once again and she looked away, realizing she must be coming off as rude for staring at him so often. She was only weary of her situation and didn't mean any offense.
Sairia smiled to him as he warmed himself from her fire but snapped her head in the direction of a noise in the trees. Her body froze and the flames lifting from her hand started to spin in a ball form in her palm. "Your very welcome Mat." she spoke but didn't turn her attention from the trees, her eyes carefully examining everything she could see.

Mat looked back to the trees, his hand on his hilt. The weapon was locked in its sheath, only to be taken out when the handle was twisted clockwise. His eyes were searching the forest. He knew that they were being watch. The question lingered in his head, persistently repeating.
who was watching them?
He moved into a defensive stance.

Lucario just gave a quick nod towards Mat, it was good that he didn't step inside the cabin yet, although with Sairia outside the cabin, and Lucario, they may have got the monsters attention again" Maybe you should come back in, Sairia" Lucario suggested to her. If it was that, going inside would be the only way to fix it, and the safest. But after last time, this two girls didn't seem to really care about safety.

"If it isn't too much prying, may I ask what has caused you to travel so late this night, Mat?"

"I was traveling to the next town to find refuge there. The one I had left has been raided. None were left alive. I managed to escape however, only due to my skill in survivability. I traveled along the road nearest to this cabin when it started to rain. I could've traveled to the next town, but I wasn't in the mood for a storm and a muddy trail. So I followed my instincts, and by some weird coincidence, was led to this cabin here." He said with composure. Mat was not entirely exhausted, but he had small fatigue from the incident at the village. " I figured a homely cabin wouldn't be any harm seeing that its in the middle of a dense forest, I guess I was wrong. These creatures that attack, I don't understand why they do. But I'm eager to find out" he added with a grin.

He was walking through the woods and the rain. He did not mind the rain seeing how on his home planet it constantly rained. His species wasn't called rain-monkeys for nothing. Yet he didn't want to get too wet. So what he did was take off his weapons and armor and put them into his his pack. Then he shape-shifted into a flying creature from his home-planet, the duco-bird. It was large with a ten foot wingspan and had a sharp beak and talons. He flew above the trees looking for somewhere to camp for the night, so he may dry himself. Eventually he saw a nice looking cabin and decided to go there.
Hanuman, in his bird form, landed on the roof of the cabin, with a loud noise, as the bird was immensely heavy. He then shape-shifted into his true monkey form and put his weapons and armor back on. Then he started joking to himself. He told himself jokes about the ice-apes, and those seemed to calm his nerves, for this cabin gave him the creeps.

"I am Shenna Rai," she said, bowing her head to him. Since he had his back turned, there was no need for her to bow completely. He wouldn't have seen her anyhow. She looked around her at the forest, wondering how many others were stranded in the rain this night and heading here.

There is something over there. He pointed to the trees, and you could see a faint outline of a being, but it seemed like it was made of fire. As Hanuman pointed the being disappeared slowly, letting everybody get a good glimpse at it.

When he motioned towards the tree's she turned quickly, her hands still ablaze from before, but when she caught the site of it, and that it was made of fire she quickly put her own fire out. "Can't fight fire with fire..." she sighed to herself.

Mat turned to look behind him. A flame like distance stood in the forest. "what is that...?" he said looking to Shenna. "You've stepped out the cabin, is that why this -being- approaches?" Mat said with a curious but cautious look upon his face. His hand slowly moved to the hilt of his weapon, hovering over it. It remained over the handle as the figure disappeared slowly.
"should we follow it? maybe we can find out the meaning behind this cabin's unfortunate curse.." he would add shortly after.

"I do not know why it has appeared, nor do I know if we should follow it. I have been outside this cabin once before this night and it had not shown itself until you and Hanuman appeared." She paused and took a breath, controlling herself again. "I do not think it is because of any one of us that it has appeared. We could try to follow it and see if it has answers, but if we do, we must stay on our closest guard. It may well be a trap." She looked around their small group, watching their faces and reactions. She relaxed her wings only slightly behind her, her tail swishing softly as she waited for the answers of each of her new companions.

The fire then returned at the edge of the forest. except this time 4 snakes of fire erupted from it and started moving towards the cabin. As this happened the being started to laugh. If you are as weak as the citadel of rain-monkeys, then you shall all die. But as the snakes hit the cabin they bounced off, unable to touch it.
As the being said that, Hanuman fell to his knees. What?...... My home?..... No..... Hanuman had just sat there, seeming nonexistent, he was paralyzed with grief.

"A creature of such power? incredible!!" he said with widened eyes. Observing the figures power bounce off the cabin, he would undo his sash holding his robe to him.
"Is this cabin sacred? his powers don't affect it all" he would say in astonishment. Mat pulled off his black large robe quickly, revealing white armor underneath. He had armor on his chest, shoulders, and abdomen, not including his guantlets. The white cloth underneath it had a quick glow, but faded to regular white afterwards. He pulled his black katana out and held it in front of him. His black hair changed to snow white, his jade green irises changed to white as well.
Mat rushed to Hanuman, resting a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry for your grievous loss friend. This would be a great time to avenge your people, to stop this immoral being from destroying more in the near future" He said in a calm voice. Mat remained composed, he would save his emotion for any form of battle.

Her gaze met Sheena and Lucario, “Are you two up for another fight?” She teased. She was actually quite irritated. She had fought more this single day then she had in a year. Sairia turned her attention to the demon, kneeling against the ground and drawing a water symbol into the mud. As she rose the ground in front of her and around the cabin sank, the water from the constant rain rising to create a lake around them to the tree line, the ground everyone stood upon remaining solid. She turned to the others, “This will buy us some time. I guess, gear up.” She sighed.
