Lady Phoenix walks in the gardens with Xion "I tried to talk to Tam earlier that day and she would not speak to me, so I tried later that night and we had a very interesting conversation about Mahie."
Xion Fortia He winced a bit, shoving his hands into the pockets of his jacket to keep them warm. "And how did that go?"
Lady Phoenix sighed and looked at the ground before looking back at him "We tried to see each others point of view with her. well I tried to have her see your take on the situation and she tried to get me to see Mahie's."
Xion Fortia "Sounds alright to me. What became of that?" He shivered a bit as he watched the snow fall.
Lady Phoenix stepped closer to him and surrounded him in her warmth "We came to an understanding that Tam would let you make your own decisions and stop beating you up worse than you beat yourself up over the same things."
Lady Phoenix chuckled as a tear slid down her cheek "There were some hurtful thing said, but I think we understand each other now."
Xion Fortia "Good to hear." He smiled a bit, leaning against the back of the bench and looking into the sky. He didn't want to mention that he was coming close to a decision, mainly because there were a few things he had to do first.
Lady Phoenix sits next to him on the bench to keep him warm "So is there anything else you would like to talk about??" She wiped her face before he would look at her again
Xion Fortia He was silent for a moment before eventually heaving a sigh. "Phoenix, I have to be honest with you for a minute. I have no idea what's going to happen with us. There's something huge I have to sort out before I make a decision."
Lady Phoenix nods and looks at the ground "I know that you need time to make your decision and I don't expect one right away, I don't know what will happen with us either but I know that I can't lose your friendship no matter what your decision is. If you want I could probably help you with whatever it is that you have to sort, not because of your decision but because that's what friends do help each other out."
Xion Fortia He shook his head. "This isn't something you can help with, Phoenix. But don't worry. No matter what happens, we'll still be friends." He looked at her and smiled. "Promise."
Xion Fortia "But I appreciate your patience. I really do." He caught one of her tears on the tip of his thumb and wiped it away.
Lady Phoenix closed her eyes as he wiped her tear away, then looked back at him "I think at this point Xion I would wait for you no matter what, but I know you wouldn't want that so I'll just wait until you make your decision. I don't know what I will do after but I will wait."
Xion Fortia He pulled her into a gentle embrace after a minute of silence. "Thank you. I'm glad to know that."
Lady Phoenix walks into the gardens slowly, not wanting to hear the news that was going to hurt but she had to move on. She turned to Xion and smiled "So this was your decision??"
