Personality: He is extremely dedicated to his craft and a somewhat determined individual, if not considerably resolute. Most brazenly, his stubbornness has often brought both disagreements and mischief alike, however, not without considerable accountability. Several youthful mishaps brought Maurice on a path towards revolutionary discovery, innovation, and a will to defy the impossible. In many regards, the man is a perfectionist and he will stop at nothing to achieve adequate results even if he must sacrifice his presence along lavish social occasions. In truth, Maurice is constantly pushing the limits in his pursuits while consistently exploring modifications towards existing weapon designs.
History: From an early age, he regarded his birth as excessively priviledged and acquired an immense fascination towards firearms. He was not encouraged to examine existing weaponry and though an entitled education ensured a relatively comfortable future, he chose gunsmithing over law. He declined an Oxford admission and vigorously pursued weapons tinkering and at the age of 17; Maurice ambitiously re-engineered several abandoned gun models before transitioning entirely towards conjuring breech loaded patterns. His talents quickly landed a promising career in the Enfield Royal Small Arms Factory where upon his contributions have ultimately accelerated various British owned arms designs.
Several American arms manufacturers, including the Colt Patent Firearms Manufacturing Company and Winchester Repeating Arms Company have repeatedly and unsuccessfully expressed interests in his employment. He remains commited to his Royal Arms affiliations and his efforts have only just attracted noticeable Parliamentary attention.
