Name: Nicholas Stormhammer
Age: 25
Position: Quartermaster
Skills:
Tinkering: Nick, as the Number Six's quartermaster, is expected to be able to tinker with just about anything he can come across. Typically, this means reinforcing pre-existing objects with new materials - which contributes to the "scrap heap" look that the Number Six has, or combining various objects to make a new object, which is usually greater than the sum of its parts. However, if he doesn't tinker objects properly, Nick ends up with a gadget that is more or less useless.
Logistics: As the Number Six's quartermaster, Nick knows the precise number of supplies on the ship, and can guess - with a surprisingly high accuracy - where said supplies are. In addition, he keeps a log of these supplies, and of the crew's cash.
Brawling: While he may not be the best at fighting, Nick can throw a few heavy punches. Nothing too great, though.
Jack of all trades: As a quartermaster, Nick really doesn't do anything major but keep a log of the ship's supplies and hand out goods to anyone that needs it. As a result, during the boatloads of free time this provides, Nick has learned to do a variety of useful tasks, such as basic navigation, repairing the ship, or even cleaning wounds. While he may not specialize in these areas, he can help most people on the ship with relative ease.
Weapons:
Adept's Fist: Nick's clockwork arm, which he uses to aid him in a variety of tasks, is also his primary choice of a weapon if he's caught in a close-combat. Since he uses it for a variety of tasks, there are a large number of utility tools - mostly items like scredrivers, hammers, and nails - within the device.
Test Firearm Mk. XXVII: The twenty-seventh iteration of Nick's Test Firearm is actually closer to a grappling-hook gun, than anything else. It's also his only option for combat, since the previous models were lost when the fourth and fifth ships were destroyed.
Tactics: Nick has a very great tactic in combat, called "hide in a closet and hope that no one finds you." So far, it seems to have worked with remarkable success.
Personality: Nick is... interesting, to say the least. On one hand, he has a tendency to lock himself in his room to tinker with newly-acquired gear, but he also likes to wander the ship and bother and/or flirt with anyone (as long as they're female and not Moxxi). He's also fairly curious, so expect him to be the first one to be investigating suspicious objects. Finally, Nick has an... obsession with having nice clothes. If the crew finds some onboard another ship, expect Nick to take most of it.
History: Nick really wasn't much to begin with. He was the son of a merchant, who insisted on living life with a great degree of frugality. As such, Nick seemed like he was perpetually on the poverty line, while his family's investments only increased with value. About two years ago, Nick left his family, in search of adventure. A year and a half, several pirate crews, and a keg of ale later, he found himself as Moxxi's quartermaster. In the six months that he's served her, he's seen two ships crash and burn, along with all of his precious devices.
