Sneaky as he was, Kain slipped out of the line and quietly headed upstairs. He closed the door silently and made himself comfortable on the bed. With a yawn, he grabbed his headphones and turned on some music, making sure it wasnt too loud. At least the room was empty.
Aaron chuckled, as usual, fooling around with the other kids. When Ms.White gave him the death glare, he stopped. Of course as soon as she looked away he was back to being himself. He caught sight of Kain sneaking away but didnt say anything. Wasnt his problem anyways. The boy sighed and looked towards the window, wishing he can go outside. It was boring staying indoors all day.

Azel and Asel wanted to run toward each other. They did not like being separated, and it took 3 other kids to hold Azel back. Asel of course tried to run, but Ms. Winkle was too strong. Asel looked to her. "Yes, hes the only family i have" she said, crying a little. Then began the most obvious signs they wanted to be together. For starters, they had already tried running, and now Azel and Asel were both sad. Their pure hearts beated a bit quicker, and loudly. Azel and Asel kept their eyes locked on each other. Azel and Asel held their necklaces, the only thing they had gotten from their dead parents. If put together, they made a lovely inscription of symbols, although they never learned what it said.
"I miss my brother" Asel sobbed.
"please be quiet now dear, we have guests" Ms. Winkle said. If there was something Ms. Winkle knew, is when they did have to be separated, to be as kind as possible, or else it would only make things worse. Separating them is like a bomb.

Juliana stood in the line waving her pretty tutu in the air. Today the little girl had decided she wanted to be a ballerina and even thou she picks deferent things to be almost everyday, this one seemed to be more impotent to her her heart. She hummed to herself in line a few random notes.

Bill smiled softly as he looked the book over. "A reader? I love books, they can be one's best friend." Bill smiled again "Lolita is a fine name and I bet you are strong?" asked Bill softly "Tell me about the book?" He asked gently he would talk to all the children but this one seemed lonely and needing someone she could talk too.
Darkos began his whispering and all the children could hear it, Claire could hear the whispering too she looked at Asel and Azel. And softly pulled them into her wonderful warm loving arms that were also protecting motion, whatever was whispering here and whatever it was she felt she knew he was not of this world and was evil. Clair nodded softly "Tell me about you?" she asked softly "What kind of games to you like to play?"

Aaron was talking with the others until he heard the whisper. "Hey hear something?" he asked. They seemed confused but nodded. Aaron listened for a second before shaking it off. "I'll be back, need the rest room," he said with a grin. He ran upstairs, even after all the warnings he never listened. Aaron ran past the attic before stopping and skiping back. "Ooh cool. Wonder what's up there." he said rocking back and forth. "Food? Toys? Monsters? Eh.. maybe not monsters... no wait... yeah all the monsters are already out..." he said to himself. The monsters as in Ms.White and the others.

They could still hear Darkos, his whispers and wishes. Azel and Asel found something about this voice....unsettling, and therefore, tried to block it from their minds. They looked back at Claire, who could hear it too and brought them close together. "We like many games, like sorry, and chess, and such" they replied, focusing on her. The whispers were all around, but that didn't stop them from blocking it. For 9 year olds, they had pretty strong wills.
Only then did the storm outside has a huge boom and crash. As Azel and Asel looked out the window, it appeared that the airport, which was the only way off the island, was just hit by it and had caused a massive explosion. Azel and Asel hugged each other, fearing of what had just happened. It could take weeks to repair it, which means it would take some time before they could leave this place if they went home with the possible parents who they found very nice and caring. Azel turned and asked "Would you like a room? im sure we have some still open" Azel asked, trying to not be afraid and nice to Claire

"I'm not sure about strong, I'm just different." She said softly, holding up the book for him to see. "The Phantom of the Opera, it's one of my favourites. I always felt sorry for the phantom, all he wanted was to be loved."
She froze at the sounds of Darkos' voice but unlike the other children, who were clearly terrified by him, a radiant happiness seemed to wash over her, improving her mood greatly. It was obvious that she was much more happy now, even though no one could tell why. She smirked slightly as she noticed the looks of some of the other kids.
"I think some of the others are a bit jealous of the attention you're giving me." She whispered conspiratorially to Mr Anderson. "They're always really eager at the possibility of getting new parents."

"Perhaps an overnight might not be such a bad idea, it would give us more time to talk to all of you more than once..." Claire smiled she never realized how hard this would be, she hadn't known there were all these children. She walked over to Bill he smiled and showed her the book Phantom Of The Opera. "Oooh, that is a good book." She knew immediately what Bill wanted and pulled out a brand new copy of Les Miseralbs. She smiled.
Then she saw two girls a she walked over to Unity, though she didn't know the child's name she smiled "You were the one on the computer laptop?"she asked softly "Listing to something where we were we couldn't hear we could only see. How old are sweetheart?" she asked softly and then smiled at the little girl with the tutu. Bill and Claire had decided on older children. Asel and Azel were 9 and that was a bit young for her and Bill, but she liked them both and wanted to try and change the age thing, she had seen the look on Lolita's face she wasn't that interested in being adopted, and the poor dear Claire hadn't wanted to stay too long. "Bill..." She hissed trying to get him to come away from the child, but Bill was too deeply interested in Lolita.
Upon hearing pure hearts Darkos's whispers stopped he blinked, knowing he would never have the twins if they had that kind of purity in their hearts. Darkos turned his attention to Lolita and whispered to his child "You are not up for adoption young one... I need you here... you belong to me now..." he whispered "You will never find parents suitable to you." darkos let out a loud roar and the air port exploded. He would not take a chance at loosing his child.

"I've never had chance to read it before, but I've heard it's a wonderful story." She said, surprised that he had taken an interest in what she was reading. She was even more surprised when his wife pulled out a copy of that book.
She hesitated at his comment. Yes he was alot nicer than she had expected but did she really want parents? No, she didn't. When she heard the voice it was confirmed, Mr Anderson was nice but she didn't need him... she had Darkos.
"Sir, my parents didn't want me. I don't see why I should want new ones." Her words were surprisingly blunt and cold, considering how sweet she had been a moment ago. And when the air port exploded, whilst the others were startled she didn't even blink. "Please excuse me Mr Anderson." She slowly stood up and left the room.
As she made her way to her room, Lolita thought about what had happened. He wouldn't want her anyway, not when Ms Winkle and the others told him of her violent outbursts and reserved nature. She didn't care anymore, she had all she could ever want.
"I'll never leave Darkos, I belong to you."

"AARON WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" At that, the boy jumped and spun around. "Oh.. Ms.White.. heh didnt see you there. Uh.. I got lost on the way to the bathroom?" he said, sounding more like a question than a statement. The woman put her hands on her hips, "Mhmm.." she said raising her eyebrows.
"Ok.... uh I'm on my way." Aaron quickly walked down the hall, slipping into the bathroom. "She's such a monster..... why is it that she always catches me doing something?" he muttered as he walked over to the sink, turning on the water.
He stared at the water flowing down the sink, lost in thought. What caught his attention was a black and white cat that sat by the tree branch, staring at him. "Muffins!" he shouted, but in a whisper. He opened the small window of the bathroom, letting the cat in. He had no idea why he even named the cat Muffin, but it just came into his head when he first saw the little furball. Holding it in his arms he quickly walked out of the bathroom and into the boy's dorm.
Kain looked up as he heard the door close. Aaron with his... cat again walked in happily. How was he always smiling in this hell hole? He shook his head, wondering what was going on up in that boys head, but smiled. At times like this, it didnt hurt to have someone as bubbly as him.

Bill sighed, she had left the Phantom book and then nodded he placed the Les Mis book and gently rubber banned the two together he saw Claire was busy with the girl with pink hair. He smiled at another child who grabbed his interest and then looked over at Claire again he gave her a look as if they were two young couples just starting out in their love life, though they were far from it and legally married, their love still had sparks in it that was like nothing else anyone has ever seen. He came up behind Claire just as he heard the words Vamps.

Darkos looked around from the attic where he was stuck and glared, those parents can't have his children!!! Especially the young ones Asel and Azel, how can they have such pure hearts even being twins... ugh... Darkos began to whisper in the one called Azel's ears and channeled it so only he could hear his voice. He would separate the twins, perhaps that would win him both boy and girl, he would work on the boy first, Kain wasn't willing to accept his offer, and the one thing was Darkos could not force anyone to join him, he could not take their free will away with out them allowing him to do it. It was the rules, stupid rules really.

Tammy felt the voice stop, but saw Azel fall to the ground, like it all aimed at him now. "Is he alright?" she asked Kain. But once Asel helped him up, he seemed better. Tammy, feeling not needed right now, walked outside into the Garden, covered by the porch roof. Despite the storm, it was a rather nice view, the flowers and plants all looking beautiful. She felt strongest here, and loved to smell the flowers. Tammy thought about her parents, and was still waiting for them, but she was patient. She was strong, and she would not go down easily. And then her thoughts drifted toward Kain, and she decided that he might need her help most right now, seeing as how he seemed to be depressed.

Bill smiled up at Unity and grinned now. This one looked like she could fit his family he gently placed a hand on her hair "Pink?" he asked gently looking her in the eyes "Pink hair? What kind of statement are you making."
"They are my children! mine I tell you!" Darkos hissed dangerously "LOILITA!!!!!" He hollered as he was very angry and glared down at the new human parents "LOILITA!!!!!" He called this time not being a loving father or acting as a loving parent but more like a spoiled brat. He shouted only so Loilita could hear him.

Kain stared at the ground, leaning on the door before looking up. He wondered if the two visitors were still here. They seemed like nice people.. he had to agree with that. That was how his parents were... Kain walked towards the stairs quickly and peeked down. To tell the truth, he did want a family, a warm loving family... it's just that he told himself he didnt need any. Kain shook his head, leaning against the railing.
Weird, every time he heard the voice, he somewhat felt uncomfortable, but Lolita seemed happy. Maybe he should ask her...

Tammy looked at Claire. "Oh hi" she said, trying to pretend like she didn't hear the voice. She looked at the flowers in the garden. "Aren't the flowers so beautiful in the rain?" she asked her, looking at her. Tammy walked over to the side. "So many people come and go from here....more come then go, except when they get old enough." Tammy wondered through the garden. "If i were you, i would chose as many as you could support and leave" she told her. It was clear what Tammy was talking about now. The voice. "It was only something recent to have happened, and ever since, the storm hasn't let up." Tammy looked at Claire. She walked past Claire, whispering "And don't go in the attic, Azel and Asel have enough instinct not to go up there, and i suggest you don't ether. So far those 2 are the only ones iv seen to block out the voice for so long, and just now...." She paused. She then said "And just now, that thing is now pissed at us, but why, i don't know..."
Azel and Asel skipped through the halls. Skipping helped get their minds off things. They soon stopped though. Ahead, the entrance to the attic was. Azel and Asel looked at each other, and walked away. They could tell something bad was up there, and had no will to go up there. Azel and Asel looked at each other, not wanting anything.....but each other..... (alright, they may want a family, but mainly they want to be together).
(If Darkos gets enough power, will he eventually start making the lights flicker and such? It would be a great plot twist to have him get more powerful the more hearts he gets so that he could start controlling the Orphanage little by little. And seeing as how the parents will be here awhile, i wouldn't be surprised if any other parents didn't come in....and if Darkos ordered Lolita to kill them...)

“It means stop fucking touching my hair, it’s mine I can what I want with it…” she said with a pissed gaze. What am I giving of some kind of wanting-ness aroma to day?

Something was wrong. She'd never heard him this angry before, especially not like this. For the briefest of moments she felt a flicker of fear but then she remembered what he had done for her, if there was anything she could do to then she wouldn't hesitate.
She started to make her way towards the attic, checking for anyone who was watching, but thankfully everyone else was still downstairs with the Anderson's. She went up the steps and through the door, walking inside towards him.
"Tell me what I can do." She said simply, her voice full of devotion.

Claire smiled at Tammy and gently looked her in the eyes, "I hear it too darling." But it did not effect Claire the way it did the children, she was not afraid of this monster. "Yes the flowers are pretty." Clare frowned when Tammy had whispered to her to take everyone she could. "Id like to take you and the twins, and the girl with Pink hair, and the one my husband was talking to when we first came in the one with the book Phantom... if we could we would take you all." Claire whispered gently.
Bill smiled at Unity "I meant no harm dear." he whispered softly and them smiled at her then he looked down at the book "Oh my..." Bill said as he took the book from her hand "The Storm Front, this is a really good story. This looks just like my wife's book." Bill smiled gently and looked Unity in the eyes "We love children... I think it's wonderful you want to be yourself and unique in every way." Bill said gently now with a soft smile. "I've just never seen anyone with pink hair before, where Claire and I live, it's pretty far from the nearest city a big home with no laughter in it." Bill whispered.
Ms. White came in to the room and looked at the children, "I'm very sorry sir but all the children must go to their rooms now!" Ms. white had a look on her face that most children were afraid of, "The owner of the orphanage is coming... Unity, be a doll and take the younger ones to their room, all older children help as." Ms. White looked around and then shuddered "You and your wife are to meet him in the office and now."
The children could all hear heavy scary foot steps, no none of them had ever met the Owner of the Orphanage, nor would any of them want to. The owner hated children and wanted them all gone quickly so he could use this building for other things, but more children kept coming in. The man had sandy brown hair and blue eyes, well only one blue eye as one was covered by an eye patch. The owner had on an entirely black suit with a red tie to match his black shirt he had on. He had heavy breathing and walked down the steps of the attic, clunk,.... clunk... Clunk... went each steep as his keys rattled, he always had more keys around than he needed or than people thought he would need. "CHILDREN IN YOUR ROOMS NOW!!!!!!" The man's voice boomed, and quite oddly it sounded a lot like the whispering voices.

"Heh... I can just run away right here and now." he said with a small smirk on his face. Then again, even if he did where would he go? At the same time, nobody would even chase after him. Ms.White and the others seemed to hate children. Well we all hated them, so it was fair.
Kain opened the window and looked around. Nobody was around.. good. Too bad the window was a bit old and made noises, but of course he was careful not to make any noise.
Once the window was opened, just enough for him to fit through, he put on foot onto the window sill, reaching out for the nearest tree branch.

Azel and Asel started dreaming. It was a weird dream, like something haunted their minds. Yet it wasn't dark. They were happy, in a big garden by a house. It was kind of reflecting their personality. And then, something dark did come. A shadow loomed toward them, in the dream. Azel and Asel held hands, and it seemed to keep it away. They hugged, and the shadow retreated. But what did this mean. And not even them knew what it meant when they woke up.
As Azel and Asel slept, Tammy looked out the window and saw Kain going through the window again. She also heard Ms. White coming up the stairs. She would surely see him going through. Tammy opened and closed the door slightly, making a noise that distracted her long enough not to see Kain leave. Tammy opened the window slightly and sad "Your lucky i distracted Ms. White long enough for you to get out Kain" she whispered to him, taking comfort that Ms. White past their room during this and therefore, did not know where the noise came from, and that she couldn't hear her.
