It was her 3rd birthday she dreams going back to the time, even at that young age she knew her that her mother tried the best she could to feed her. "Lilly look what I got you." Her mothers voice called from the next room in their one bed room apartement. Lilly ran towards the voice and stopped when she saw her mother holding something behind her back. "Happy birthday sweetheart." Her mom said bringing the object from behind her back. Lilly looked at the beautiful doll taking it from her mothers hands. The dolls huge blue eyes starred up at her the blonde curls falling like waves of sunshine down the dolls back.Lilly slowly traced her finger over the dolls features. Her mother bent down next to her "I love you Lilly." She said. "I wuve you too." Lilly said trying to mimick her mothers word but failing. Lilly's mother wrapped her hands around her bringing her into a hug then kissing her cheek.
Lilly held back her tears as the memory faded from her memory and slowly coming back to the lab she was in. "75490. Come with me." A short comand was made towards her. Lilly hopped off the bed stumbling slightly, but no one bothering to help her. She followed the person footsteps all ready knowing the path by heart back to the room with her dog crate in it. She crawled into the crate the door shut behind her. She laid her head on the plastick wall letting her mind wonder back to her mom.
It was the day her mom brought her to the evil school. She didnt hate her mom for bringing her here because her moms intension were good. "Goodbye Lilly. Don't worry I'll come back with the money I got from this place I'll get us a better place just sit ight okay." Her mom said holding her tight tears dripping from her eyes and traveling down to Lilly's shouler creating a stream. She set Lilly down as a man came wearing a huge smile. "Hello Ms.Todd. This must be Lilly?" He said bending down becoming eye level with Lilly without letting the smile leave his face. Lilly backed away and hid behind her mothers leg clutching her blonde headed doll she called Susan. "Yes this is Lilly. Don't worry you won't keep her long I'll be back." Her mother said looking at the man. "Of course." He said standing back up and ushering her to the door. "She'll be waiting." Lilly watched as her mother was pushed out the door, the door shut with a heavy clank. The man smile dropped and he walked over to Lilly wripping the doll out her hand making her whimper. "Collin. This is subject 75490 take her away."
Lilly dug her nails in her hand as the hatred for that man and the man name Collin grew. Lilly quieted as she heard a movment from another cage.
"Hello! I know there's at least one or two of you out there. My name's Tetsuya Taiga Fujitaka," he was very proud of being one of the few in the facility with a name that he hadn't come up with on his own, "and I'm sixteen. You may or may not recognize me as the guy with fluffy blue hair kind of like," he thought for a second, going through his mental catalog of everything he'd read about, "cotton candy. You might've heard me playing guitar or piano before in the mornings." he quieted and watched the turquoise blue, that had formed in his vision from the sound of his own voice, dissipate.
He wasn't sure if the others would respond to him or not, but he hoped. It had gotten rather lonely in the facility after his parents died and Haru was taken away. He hoped that he could at least talk to these other experiments for a little while.

The boy spoke of cotton candy, and then she realized he had compared it to his hair. Hesitantly, her hand raised and grabbed a lock of her own white hair. What would he compare that too?, she thought, shaking her head before leaning back against the side of the cage. "I am Nali." Her voice was quiet, perhaps not expected because she'd left quite a heavy silence between his last word and her first. "Also sixteen." She wasn't sure why he had stated his age, but she might as well follow his introductions. "I do not leave this cage often, so I do not know if you would recognize me."
"I'm Nali." The voice said, "Also sixteen. I do not leave this cage often, so I do not know if you reconize me."
Lilly smiled "My names Lilly, ummm..I think i'm ten." She said crawling to the front of the cage and sticking her nose out the best way she could. She sniffed the air twice in both directions the voices had came from. Lilly not being able to see couldnt put pictures with names, she did it with smell. "How long have you guys been here?"
He thought that he ought to first respond to the first girl's statement. "Well, next time we're allowed out, you ought to join us. I would enjoy getting to know you better face to face rather than through the bars of a cage." he chuckled. "And I'm sure that I've probably seen you at least once. Though with the number of times I've been moved around, it's equally likely that none of us have ever seen each other before."
Scooting forward to press his face against the bars of his crate, he smiled as he spotted the younger girl with her face pressed to the bars much like him. "It's very nice to meet you, Lilly." her question caught him slightly off guard and he struggled to keep his cheerful voice as he suppressed memories of his parents and little brother. "I was born here. Me and my little brother." he cut himself short as he shivered and scooted back in his crate. "What about you Nali, Lilly? Tell me anything you like about yourselves. It's not like we're really going anywhere soon."
"Thats all really. Oh! I know my ability is kinda like umm.." She sat puzzled how should I put this, "Well you see my DNA is mixed with a canine's, so I have super good hearing and I can run really fast when I'm on four legs...oh and my smell is really good." She said sounding like a little kid telling santa what they wanted for chrismas. "What about you guys? What ability's do you posses?"

"No thanks, I don't go out. And I think you might remember a girl with hair as white as snow." Then again he had blue hair, so he could just think it normal. Or there could be many others around here with the strange colored hair, bodies. The thought sparked her interest.
Sighing, rather loudly, she reluctantly moved forward and pushed her crate open, moving to sit in front of the two other crates. A certain guard always forgets to lock her cage, and they didn't worry much about it since she never left, unless it was in handcuffs, being dragged away.

His cheery tone dulled slightly when Nali said that she'd absorbed his power. "Sorry, Nali. My power is rather useless compared to yours and Lilly's. At least you only got one of my Synesthesias, though. They're pretty easy to tune out after a while, though, if you want to."
He frowned. "I get moved around a lot, so I don't know if you'd have seen me either. Who knows, though. Most people just know me from hearing me play piano or guitar."
It surprised him when he saw a girl with white hair, whom he presumed was Nali because of the shimmering white fog surrounding her, step out of her crate. A slight smile crossed his lips as an idea came to him. He'd always been bad at keeping quiet at his adventurous thoughts.
"So girls, what do you say to maybe going on an adventure of sorts? Seeing if we can get out of here? It can't be any worse out there than it is in here, right? I should be able to get you out of your crate if you want to come, Lilly." he smiled, thoughts of adventure filling his mind.

Still frowning, Nali moved towards Lilly's cage and grabbed the bars, pulling them apart wide enough for her to squeeze out. While doing so, she had to concentrate on how annoyed she'd felt when she had first met the super-strength girl. She was always too cherry, and breaking things. As she moved back, she raised her eyebrows and watching Tetsuya. "I assume you can get out of there yourself?" She made sure to keep her eyes focused elsewhere, never fully looking at the boy. "I'm going to go see who else we can bring on this 'adventure', if no one minds."
The scientist tapped on the bars, a strange helmet resting upon her head. But Carlisle was nowhere to be seen.
'Hurry up Carlisle, let's get this over and done with before the both of us get in trouble.'
Still, the cell remained seemingly empty, not a trace of life evident.
'Oh come on, just take your stupid medicine. If you don't stop hiding again soon I'll just let one of the other scientists give you your shots.'
From the dark corner of the cell, a young man appeared, dark blue eyes perpetually set in melancholy. Slowly, he made his way to the bars, his pale countenance a perfect picture of lachrymosity. He extended his arm into the grasp of the scientist, her soft hands tenderly holding his.
'This'll only hurt for a second-' To be honest, she didn't even really know why she said that anymore; the pain, he was used to it. Swiping the flaxen hair from her eyes, her own irises met his for the briefest of moments. His orbs bored into her soul, tearing apart her paper heart. Swallowing her pain, she jabbed the needle into his arm, injecting the syringeful of misery. Delicately, she relinquished her grip on his arm, as if she worried that he would break should she not be tender enough.
'I've got to go now, I'll be back soon. Here's a book I sneaked in here for you, it's Sonnets from the Portuguese by Browning,' she said, a bittersweet smile gracing her features, 'See you tonight Carlisle.' With that, the young blonde walked off, hugging her clipboard to her chest, head bowed.
Carlisle walked back to the centre of his cell, and, ignoring the miserable cries of the other experiments around him, began to read.
Walking over to Lilly, he knelt down in front of her. "You doing okay, Lilly? Ready to get out of this place and get back to your mom?" he smiled at her and stood up. "Let's wait for Nali to get back and then we can all go, alright?"

When Testuya had offered them an adventure, she hadn't meant to say yes. Actually, she hadn't meant to say anything. But she was so, intrigued. It cursed her, the curiosity for other beings. Other powers. But she didn't want all these powers, she wished she could just, throw them all away. Or even better, just give them to someone else. Someone without powers. But instead she just absorbed all this abnormalities, fearing one day perhaps she would just explode.
But, would that be all too bad? It would take care of her problem...
Hearing voices, Nali ducked behind one of the empty cages. Only able to pick out some words from the conversation, she gathered enough information to know that there was another powered character down the hall somewhere. Once the voices stopped and she guessed the scientist was gone, the white haired girl got back onto her feet and continued calmly down the hall. Within two or three cells of where she guessed the voice had come from, she stopped, waiting, listening. "Hello?" She dared.
