Personality

Mutt can be best described as the strong and silent type. this is partly because he's not confident in his speaking ability but mainly due to his lack of control over his ferret mindset. Mutt is certainly traumatized about his time in the lab but it does not go to the extent that he's mentally broken. the ferret side of his brain is definitely broken as all it ever thinks about is escape and constantly looks for escape routes. There are times though when his silent veil is broken and then he can get get pretty emotional. these moments are usually when his blindness is put into question or his time in the lab.

History

Mutt was born in the lab however he wan't born with his mutation. When mutt was first born, the scientist thought he would be a prime subject to let the interns take a first crack at. At first all the interns were nice to mutt they would hold him, feed him, play with him. they seemed to actually like. Mutt later learned that they merely were trying to gain his trust. The sad thing is they did gain his trust. He didn't even question when they strapped him to the operating table. He's ashamed to say that the last thing he ever saw were these interns looking down at him saying he was doing great things for science. He didn't understand then he thought science was the name of the game. Now he understands only too well. When he first woke he was confused. he didn't remember playing science like they said he would. he looked around his cage to find he couldn't see anything. he started panicking rapidly blinking his eyes, hitting at his face with his hands. Then he realized his hands felt different. They felt like that thing one of the interns brought in. What had they called it....? Fur that was it! He had fur on his hands he thought happy this was all they had done. then as he felt more of his body he realized he had the fur everywhere. Trying to comfort himself he said it could be worse as he brought his hand to his ears and found out it was. He screamed
in surprise as at their length causing his sensitive hearing more pain. "This couldn't be any worse!" he exclaimed from his cage. It seems he jinxed it because it in fact, it was he realized as reached back to find a tail. He screamed a scream of pure agony ignoring the equivalent pain it caused his ears. Then he focused his hearing and could hear that last intern he ever saw talking with someone else. "a great success." she said to the man sitting next to her. His astonishment turned into anger and he swore vengeance on every intern in this facility. No longer was he the innocent test subject the interns adored, no now he was an enraged mutant with a score to settle.

the tests started out easy. Just testing the range of his hearing ability or how dexterous his tail was, simple stuff. Then it was as if they wanted to punish him for resisting. the test became painful like folding him in knots to see how flexible he was or how much off the ferret mindset he had. They put him in a room full of the ferrets natural predators; hawks. this gave him his fear of wings as well as exposing the paranoid ferret mindset in his brain.
