Money, Power, Respect. No matter how hard you pretend it doesn't, your life revolves and depends on them. Life's a big game of chance. Some are born with money and gain respect through the power they acquire. Some are born without money and gain power by forcing respect on those around them. Some are born with just enough money and just enough respect but never gain power. Life is funny that way. You can do everything right and still have none of them.

Those who have money are considered "The Have's. They live in their fancy houses and they drive their fancy cars. The one thing many of them don't have: Happiness. For many of the Have's everything in their lives is arranged. They're friends with their families friends. They marry who they're family deems "acceptable". They live a life dictated by their last names. I'm not talking about rapper and actor money, that's new money. As new money, they tend to have a bit more freedom and less legacies and traditions to rely on.No, I'm not talking about new money, I'm talking about old money. I'm talking about the billionaires that pay the millionaires paychecks. The people who will never go bankrupt. Those are the true Have's and they aren't too welcoming to the new money.

Those who do not have money are called "The Have Not's. They live around and near the Have's. Some of them own businesses near them, though most work for the Have's. Because it's summer a lot of the staff of the household's children are coming into town. The Devereux's have decided to let them stay but they must work over the summer. While the Donovan's are letting them stay for free. Most of the Devereux staff's children have known them their whole lives. While the Donovan's staff are rather new.

The Staff typically include: Chefs, Maids, and Caretakers. The Chef's job is of course to provide food for the staff. They do not have to be on call at any time because they often provides food during the day and leaved snacks and leftovers in the fridge at night. The Chef is given access to all the amenities in the house and more often then not get the best treatment of all the staff. The Maids clean and are typically nanny's to young children as well. They do not get access to all the amenities because they are given a kitchen of their own and modern luxuries in the staff quarters. Often the maids children will work during the summer with the family. However, even if they don't, the Donovan's allow them to live in the staff quarters. The Caretaker's job is to make sure that all the needs of the family are cared for. Typically the youngest children get their own caretaker. The caretaker lives in the mansion, as they are on call to the family at all times.

1. I would rather not change the family's fc. Especially since I give you the option of choosing face claims of everything else

2. To reserve a character you must post in the OOC AND have the password. WIP's must be submitted within 24hrs and completed character sheets no longer than five or six days. if you have a legitimate reason for taking longer let me know. Also feel free to compete for roles.

4. I'd like for you to not use over used face claims and I'd really like for some diversity.

5. You must post at least 400-600 words. If you don't think you can post that length you probably should''t join. This also goes for the character sheet. If you don't have an adequate amount of information I will let you know.

6. This roleplay is for mature people only. If you can't accept violence, swearing, drinking, sexual content, and such, then don't join.

7. I Please interact with everyone. Don't leave people out, and try to avoid talking to one person or being romantic the entire time. Also feel free to start drama!
