Tawny is everything but ordinary. Not exactly a diamond amidst the coal, but she sure as hell is a rare find. With a youthful face, two bright beads of eyes that are of an emerald-green colour, and a charming smile, Tawny surely gets attention.Granted, such a thing can either be good or bad. The woman's soft, sand-blonde hair is usually a ragged style. A sort of emo, slash punk haircut. Though, the back is grown to waist-length, and always wrapped in a simple tail. We wouldn't want our engineer to get herself stuck, and be pancaked by a machine now, would we?
Tawny's body is lean, sometimes even seen as scrawny. Granted though, there is some lean muscle from working with heavy machinery and all that. The pale skin that wraps around her fragile bone-structure, is decorated with various scars, tattoos, and 'pretty' accessories.Well, aren't we artsy... Few notable accessories are the silver ring piercing on her lower lip, the series of three golden earrings on her left outer ear, and a small golden cog on her right earlobe.

Tawny is... Bluntly put: Odd. Or at least that is what other people tell her, probably because the woman is prone to act younger than her age indicates. While Tawny isn't a hyperactive person, she is rather mischievous, and wouldn't miss the chance of taking the piss out of someone on the ship. All in good fun, though, and actually her way of grabbing ones attention. Granted, it isn't always the attention she was hoping for.Not that it matters to her.
That isn't to say Tawny can't shut up and focus. Hell, the woman is that devoted to her work, at a point where she practically has her own rules in her workspace. No disturbances when working, no trying to help, ect. Not that she minds when you do though, it gives her someone to talk with. Something Tawny would do more often, if it weren't for such a time consuming job.
