powers: Light manipulation (he can materialize light into weapons or any other object), flight, enhanced senses and speed.
equipment: Recurve bow he uses to fire light arrows.
weaknesses: Ethan has pathological fear of fire, and he doesn't have much defense against most attacks, although he is extremely fast. And he's very much attached to people around him, which tends to leave them in constant danger. And causes him to constantly lose focus.
personality: Ethan is pretty easy going and fun. He is always willing to help someone even if that is not always appreciated by people around him. He is extremely attached to his "normal" life and people around him, and tends to be overprotective with his friends, and with the girl he likes. All of that makes him reluctant to go out and fight evil, and most of the time he just wanted to be normal like any other kid his age.
history: On a daily basis, Ethan is a normal high school kid, with average grades and no money. He grew up with a normal family in a small house in a quiet neighborhood. However when he was only 8 years old, he found out he could materialize light and shape it into anything he wanted, that is when his parents told him the truth about his past, along with the fact the he wasn't actually their son. Ethan's father was a hero known by Angelknight, he died before Ethan was even born, his mother was a doctor who died while giving birth to him. His adoptive parents were friends of his mother and adopted him, in spite of knowing the he might inherit all of his father's powers.
At the age of 12 he discovered he could create wings out of pure light and attempted to fly with them, in broad day light, in a populated area. The name he took for himself came from the several people in the area claiming to have seen "an angel made of pure light" flying around the neighborhood. Other than his adoptive parents, no one knows about the things he can do and he does his very best to keep his personal image separated from his "hero self". His biggest motivation is to find out more about who his father really was, and most importantly... How he died.

He wears glasses in school, but doesn't really need them.
When in "hero mode" as he calls it, he wears plain white clothes, a white mask which covers his mouth and nose, and safety goggles. Not very fancy, but it doesn't matter much to him since his wings shine so bright that it makes it hard for people to see him in a distance, and he doesn't usually let anyone get close enough to see him.
