Introduction
For years, Leigh worked with her sister. Doing what she did best, sitting behind a computer and calling the shots. Completing technologies, improving them. Cleaning up Dierdre's messes, and Dierdre always made a mess. She wasn't happy, but with every job they completed, there was a higher, and higher price on their heads. It was too dangerous to get out, and Dierdre never would have let her anyway. Then the unthinkable happened. Within days of each other, Leigh received two notifications. One for the death of her mother, one for the death of her father. That's when she realized that if she was going to have the life that she wanted, she needed to go for it now.
In this world there are choices that we have. Some we make ourselves, others are made for us. What do we do when we don't like those choices? Don't like the hand that we've been dealt? That's what defines who we are, our reactions. For some, it's easier to pull away. To make the choice and stick with it, make it real. For Leigh McAllister, it's a little harder than that. A price on her head, and a twin sister that doesn't want to let go are only some of the things that have kept her from embarking on the normal life that she's always wanted.
Colorado Springs, Co. It beckoned to her. Large enough that she could easily disappear into the crowd. Small enough that it wouldn't be the first place anyone would look for someone trying to hide. Besides, with NORAD and all the military around, who would think to look for her there? Little of any note really happened in Colorado Springs. Certainly never the sorts of things that she was trying to get away from at least...
***
Yes, this is the same Colorado Springs as the one from Stargate SG-1, but it's not a Stargate centric RP. Aspects, and ideas from the show may be used in character development, and as plot devices. Please remember though, that this an RP is about the characters in it, their struggles and triumphs. That said, feel free to go a little crazy with character creation. This is a world where high technology can be found and created, but it's not overly common, and always has some kind of kink or drawback.

Basic character information: Please include all of these things
Name:
Age:
Basic description, realistic pictures are good, but I'd like words as well
The personality that others would see. If you'd like to go more in depth than just the surface, feel free.
A very basic history. Where were they born? Did they have siblings? etc. You don't have to get too detailed with their history, but if there's anything in it that could be used for plot devices please let me know. : )
Anything else that you would like to add.
Taking place in...
Colorado Springs, Colorado our primary setting
A decently sized city with several tourist attractions and plenty to do.

A large, hard hand reached for her, and the teenage girl kicked her way out the door and ran. The shock was too much. This couldn't be happening. This wasn't what had happened. There was the sound of a gun shot, and a burning, horrible pain bore the girl down to her knees. Through the pain she knew fear. Tremendous fear. She struggled to get her feet underneath her, but pain and weakness kept her down. The slow inevitability of unconsciousness began to steal her mind and vision as a large pair of legs came into view.
"No!" The one word came out as a strangled cry as Leigh McAllister came awake. Her body was drenched in sweat, sticking her pink and white flora pajamas to her skin. Tears leaked down her cheeks unchecked. "That wasn't what happened, it was just a nightmare." She repeated the words softly over and over, trying to calm herself. Her cell phone was in her hands, a number half dialed before she fully realized what she was doing, and she threw the things across the room, and forced herself to her feet. If she called her sister, then it was over. All of this that she'd worked so hard to find would be gone.
There would be no more Leigh McAllister, barrista, there would only be Leigh McAllister, the ops coordinator extraordinary. The tears came faster, and she wiped them from her cheeks frustrated with her own weakness. She hadn't bothered to think about what she was leaving, other than the life that she hated. She was also leaving her only remaining family, her best friend. She'd had to leave everything, and everyone behind. It was the only way to ensure that her sister couldn't find her easily. Now here she was, in this crappy apartment, complete with peeling paint, and whatever bugs were in season, working a job that she despised only slightly less than the one that she'd been groomed for her entire life. Even still, if it wasn't for the nearly constant nightmares, she would still be happier. Or at least that what she told herself.
A glance at the clock had her rushing into the bathroom to shower. She wasn't the greatest at her current job, and the last thing that her continued employment could take was being late. She hurried through her shower, barely noticing the fact that the water could never seem to make up its mind if it wanted to freeze her or scald her anymore. She really did need to do something about that hot water heater. She pulled on a pair of khaki slacks, and a white tank top, throwing a pale pink button up over the top, and buttoning it as she made her way out the door. She was halfway down the rickety stairs to the ground floor when she realized that she'd forgotten her keys, and to lock the door. By the time she got to the bus stop, it was just about to pull away, and she just managed to jump on and pay her fare.
"Be on time next time, I'm not gonna be waiting for you," The usually cheerful woman growled, and Leigh took a seat as the bus started on it's way. Looks like it's going to be one of those day.

He turned to Kenton, "So, were running low on food, how do you suppose we get it this time?"
___
Kenton turned back over to Dax as he started to talk,
"So, were running low on food, how do you suppose we get it this time?"
"We alredy stole from the gas station back that way" He pointed in the direction of the gas station,
"Yea, and the Wal-Mart over there" Dax pointed in a diffrent direction
"Well theres a Target over on the other side of town..."
"Ill race ya to it!"
"Your on."
They stood up and took their places, back to back, they were takeing two diffrent paths.
"One, Two, Three... GO!"
Dax quickly decended down the side of a fire escape, he was going to run from the ground, when he got to the bottom he sprited off down the ally...
-
Back on Kenton's side he leaped down to another building, looking down at the ally below. He landed in a roll and kept running.
I can see Target from here, no way he will beat me!
-
Dax burst out onto a sidewalk, vaulted over a parked car, and almost got hit by the bus he saw a few minuets ago. The driver hit the breaks and honked, but Dax kept running...
-
Kenton jumped and grabbed the ledge of another building, he ran to the other side just in time to see Dax almost get hit by a bus, Kenton laughed and continued the race.
-
Dax ran down a few more allys just in time to see the Target parking lot. But Kenton Jumped down from a lower building and roller, continueing to sprint right behind Dax. But it was no contest, Dax reached it first.
They both sat down on a bench, panting,
"I saw you almost got hit by that bus!" Kenton joked
"Yea well remember, i still won." Dax replied...

"Anyone see you come here?" A gruff voice asked on an intercom system.
"I'm sure people saw me turn into the alley, but no one followed me here as far as I know." Fantasy replied to no one in particular.
"Third door on the left. Up 3 flights of stairs. We will be with you shortly." The voice said.
Jeez, does the room change all the time?? Fantasy wondered silently to himself. He went to the third door to the left and opened it to reveal a flight of stairs. He went up three of them and got off on the third floor. He looked down the hallway, and realized, they didn't specify which room to go to. He looked once more down the hall, then sat down by the door. Since there was nothing left to do, he pulled his sword out from his back, where his vest covered the blade and began to polish it.
About ten minutes later, a small man walked down the hall. He stopped in front of Fantasy. "They're waiting for you. Room 309." Fantasy thanked the man and got up. Once at room 309 He knocked and was let in.
"Anything new to report?" The gruff voice said. This time, in person.
"Nothing out of the ordinary in my district chief." Fantasy replied to the man.
"Good. Got a new assignment for you. There has been a call about a bombing at this address. I want you to go access the situation and call me at 24:00 tomorrow night. Use the private line." The Chief handed Fantasy a slip of paper. On the paper there was an address which Fantasy memorized and tossed into the shredder.
"Got it sir."
Fantasy left the building out the front door. Some people in the crowd looked his way then back in front of them. He walked down the street towards the address the Chief had given him. Some of the police officers he passed whispered to themselves, looking at him and more importantly, at the hilt protruding from his vest. How they would love to bag me. Unfortunately for them, Fantasy was working undercover for the Chief of Police, and all the local officers knew it.

With a sinister smile on his face he turned back around to face out the window into the city. The city which was starting to come alive with its morning activities. Such as the Girl that was running to catch her bus, the two boys running, the man ducking into the dark alley, or countless other people that would be rushing to get their day started. "It is going to be a very good day."
((ooc note: He does not see the things listed I just listed them as a time frame reference.))

" Damn it im so hungry... if i dont eat anything soon im sure ill pass out due to starvation!" whined Leon Loudly hoping that his moping would make the food get to his table and to his gut faster.
" i dont think i can make it any longer" Leon whined just as the morning rush came in and filled the Busy cafe. Leon sighed and looked out the window.
" Damn it to hell... this is what i get for bitching about food isnt it!!?!" Leon sunk down in his seat; he was sure that now his food would take even longer to get there than anticipated

"Blood," She snapped, turning around to face Nathaniel. He was, in a word, scrawny. Lank dirty blond hair crowned a head that even without all of the zits wouldn't have been appealing to her when she was that age, and his eyes were limpid, devoid of much in the way of intelligence. It was sad really, that a snot nosed eighteen year old boy was in charge of this place. How it was in the black under his management she had no idea. "There was an accident on the bus. Some kid nearly got himself splattered by it, and it was the passengers who got to suffer from it." Nathaniel blinked at her, not that she blamed him, this was the first time that she'd stood up for herself, but quite frankly she was in no mood to take crap after the start her morning had gotten off to. "Driver had to ram the breaks, car behind us didn't stop in time, oh, and the person behind me was an easy bleeder." She cocked her head, eyes cold, just daring him to say something stupid.
"I don't like your tone," He informed her voice heightening in pitch. Fear no doubt, he seemed like the sort to be threatened easily. The morning rush saved him. She was in no mood for a pride kicked teenagers power trip at the moment. "Here," He said shortly, thrusting a plate and cup at her. "These go to the guy in booth four. Kelsey had to man the register because of your tardiness, so don't expect to keep her tips. I've got my eye on you. One more screw up today, and you're gone."
Leigh took the items from him with a forced smile, trying very hard to bite her tongue. It didn't work. "Look, I realize that your inferiority complex is such that you have to shit on anyone who shows any sign of a spine, but that's not gonna work with me. You don't scare me little boy. I've already had a really bad morning, nothing you could do, including fire me could make it worse. As I see it right now, you're understaffed, and no one is exactly clambering to work under a self important kid like you. You need me way more than I need you. I have work to do. We'll talk later."
That felt strangely good. Leigh mused as she headed towards booth four. She'd never really been one to put someone in their place, unless they weren't bringing nearly what they needed to to the table on a mission. Was that what she was seeing this as, a mission? Even if it was that, she wasn't the coordinator on this one. She wasn't in a van or a hotel room calling the shots, making the plans. She'd never have thought that she'd miss it. Quite forgotten that she hated field work with a passion. Oh well, she had a client to serve.
"Here's your food," She said, forcing a smile as she laid the cup and plate out in front of the man. "I hope that you enjoy it."

" That guy, he's a real prick isn't he? How could some one like you who looks like she has a good head on her shoulders work for a loser like him?" Asked Leon, he was shocked that a Manager could treat the people that he works with so rudely. Leon reached in his pocket for some extra change. Leon shuffled around for a second and pulled out a twenty dollar bill and waves it around.
" Ill give you this as a tip if you tell me a little more about your self for starters your name and whats up with that interesting scar is? You know the one on those beautiful hands of yours?" Smirked Leon

"My name is Leigh," She informed him leaning in closer, and dropping her voice in a conspiratorial way. "As for any scars I happen to have, I could tell you, but then I'd be duty bound to kill you." She finished with a wolfish grin and a sinister gleam in her eye. Dierdre would be proud of her she was certain. "Do, I get my twenty bucks now?" She asked holding out the hand with the scar in question.
She saw it then. Something out of place, an unattended briefcase. It stole the smile from her face, and she straightened, "Keep your money," She murmured, walking towards the briefcase in an attempt to get a better look at it without frightening anyone. After all, she could just be over reacting, and that was the most likely really. As she passed by the briefcase on her way back to the counter for her next order however, she felt her hopes fail. If she hadn't made so many of the things for Dierdre to use in the field, she never would have recognized the set up, but she had, and she did. Her worst fears were realized, the briefcase was a bomb. It wasn't a timed bomb, all indications pointed to remote activated, and she glanced about casually for anyone that looked suspicious.. Forcing a smile back on to her face, she moved with speed and purpose to her manager.
"Was there by chance a bomb threat that you didn't bother to tell me about?" She hissed in a whisper. Nathaniel paled. "Figured it was nothing to worry about huh? Just some lark? You twit. Call the police, be quite and discreet about it. It's remotely detonated other than that I can't tell much, I don't want to go splat." With that, she grabbed up the plate of donuts and black coffee and brought it by to the table marked on the check. She needed to find a way to get people out of here safely, but with a remote detonator the person had to be close, and they would see if there any indication that something was wrong. That was usually a bad thing in a situation like this. So it was that after she'd delivered the plate and cup in her hands, she headed back behind the counter, she needed to set a fire.

She knew it would take more than a day to search the city for Leigh. She needed to find a place to stay before anything and so that is what she did. As she walked down the street the occasional person she passed gave her a strange look. It was clear there was something wrong with her. She walked with a grin on her face as she thought about what she would do to the people who killed her parents. She also blamed them for her sister running away from her. Everything was their fault.

"I'm afraid we don't serve alcohol here," Leigh said in a pointed, talking to difficult customer voice. "I can't imagine why I'd need to see your ID to make you an Irish Cream flavored coffee." She picked up the wallet, and closed it firmly, leaning towards in such a way that her mouth was hidden behind his back. "Nice job captain obvious, and unless you know someway to get all of these people out of here in a hurry, then..." She trailed off her whisper as she noticed the discrete, but still there bulge of a weapon. "Play along."
That was all the warning she gave him before she shoved him away forcefully eyes going wide. "What the hell are you doing bringing a weapon in here!?" She demanded voice hitting a level of shrill she'd never heard from herself before. "Someone call the cops! I think this guy may be crazy!" She looked around at cell phones being grabbed for, customers on the verge of panic. Good, she'd gotten their attention, now it was all up to cop. Hopefully he knew how to improvise.
