Personality: Like his sister he is mischievous and adventurous. Though he is loyal he is only loyal to his sister, usually very skeptical of everyone else since he is the eldest by 3 minutes. He is brave to the point where he can seem almost stupid and has a shit load of dumb luck. He's a bit cocky and a joker by heart, he's flirtatious, but knows the limits. Where his sister dreams he sees how the world is and is very practical. And also like his sister he loves to travel and has a problem staying in one place for too long.

History:He and his sister grew up on the streets of Ireland, so they were vagabonds to begin with, but when Carlyn stole from an important person when they were 13, they both got exiled. So they stowed away on ships, living at sea for seven years. They had never been caught except when the ship they were on got a new captain. They threw Richard into the brink and tied Carlyn to an anchor pushing her into the ocean. Richard escaped, stealing a knife along the way, and dove in after his sister, cutting her free. When they came back up the ship was too far away, so they swam to the nearest shore (which luckily wasn't too far off). They got to shore and lived as nomads once again on the streets for the next five years. They made friends and created a troupe of people that lived with them. One day they were out looking for food or equipment when they five dead and rotting bodies on the street, they were heading towards them going to see if the people who killed them left the peoples' belongings, that when the bodies started to move. Richard grabbed his sister's hand and, despite her protests to go back to the troupe and make sure they were safe too, pulled her to the nearest building, a mall.
