Personality:
Marcus is extremely loyal, to a fault, actually. He has never even looked at a woman with any intention but friendship, never. It may be hard to believe, but he's actually already quite enamored with the princess. Despite this, however, he's fairly quiet and doesn't talk much. He has some...Slight, possessive, tendencies. It's nothing too bad but...Man, I'd feel bad for any guy that tries to talk to his princess. Other than that he isn't a difficult guy to get along with, though his trust is somewhat hard to gain.

History:
Marcus grew up being told, from birth, that he was going to marry Princess Leena, that she would be his, so, throughout his childhood, he was groomed for that task. He didn't get much of a childhood, he had to learn how to fight with swords, how to behave in a public setting, and how to be a ruler. It didn't come naturally for him, but luckily his parents where patient. He often failed, however, when it came to conversing with people. He was always awkward and...Just plain said things wrong. His mother assured him that he would learn, but when he didn't, it worried her. But she taught him that all he needed to do was be there, he would have someone to speak for him, hopefully.
But, now that he's older, he's hoping to truly and fully win his princess's heart. We'll see how that goes.
