History:
Serena grew up in New Orleans as a politician's daughter. Her mother died at childbirth, so Serena was raised by a single father. His fans adored that; the idea of a single man - a politician, especially - raising a little girl. She's rolling her eyes still to this day just envisioning the smug look on her father's face for winning a seat on the senate. She spent her entire life in one of these old Southern manors, being watched by a few old family maids that stuck around for years. Her father, no matter what issues Serena might have with him, raised her in the church and was very particular about Serena believing in God. Her faith would be the most important thing she owned, he used to say. Serena was heavily involved with the youth department at a young age and showed great potential for leadership role. She sung in the choir and to this day has a very powerful, soulful voice. At one point, she wanted to be a singer. But Serena had other dreams and those dreams included becoming a lawyer.

However, her father had her life planned out. He wanted Serena to go into politics like him. She knows she could have been good at it and people are already talking about her trying for a political position. Her father wanted her attend his alma mater, Cornell University, and he already had several connections lined up for potential internships. Serena was a very good student, after all. She even did a summer internship at the white house. She seemed destined for the future that he saw. But she suprirsed him when she told him she was going to school for coporate law. It led to a huge fallout and her father, a bigger and stronger werewolf, literally attacked her while she was in her bed. The fight was intense and while Serena lost, she proved her point. She wasn't backing down and he disowned her. She thinks it was God spiting him for being such a prick, but her father says it simply was in the cards for him to acquire cancer.

The next four years of her life were pretty hectic. Serena did end up attending Cornell University and she struggled with maintaining her stubborn's father health care and her grades. When he died in her junior year, it should have devastated her. But Serena handled it with a cold detachment that scares one of her maids to this day. She stuck to playing the violin at night to keep her cool and managed to graduate Cum Laude. After much debate, she returned to New Orleans and became a lawyer for several businesses in the area. She moved back into her family manor and has been living there ever since. She joined the pack as she had never really been a part of one. Her father kept her in the family and never allowed her to go around much with another packs.

It was last year that she met her exboyfriend. She thought they were happy and that he was it for her. Sure, there was still her lingering crush for an Alpha that would never return her feelings, but she was genuinely in love with this guy. He was everything to her, he understood her. And she thought she knew him. However, that trust in him proved to be her mistake. It cost her the life of her unborn baby. She pushed her pack away for a long time and contemplated suicide. But she's chosen to bury herself in work to hide her grief. It's the only way she's managing.]
