Over the hills and through a waterfall is a valley where horses roam free and without fear. Here there is one herd in particular, the Shadow Herd. This herd is run by a well known stallion, he is rallying up his herd and choosing a mate… who will he choose?


After this what else is there to do? Fall is creeping by and soon it will be winter that means it’s a good time to find a mate before spring, but with the lead stallion allow other mares to go with other stallions? Or will he take all the mares for himself?

Lead Stally:
He’s been the leader for a least a year and he’s pretty tough. Not used to loosing a battle. I want him to be friends with the beta mare but not really want to make her a lead mare (That’s why she’s the Beta (His best friend)) As stallion I’m letting this person choose if he is keeping all the mares for himself or if he is “Allowing” mares to have partners.

Mate of Stally: Chosen by Lead Stallion
As the mate she shares part leadership and can be quite bossy when she needs to be. I’m open for this character to be what she pleases (Personality wise).

Beta Stally:
He will be the best friend of the lead stallion and if the lead chooses that all the mares are his then the beta will be the only other stallion in the herd. This means he will have to be really nice to the stallion in order to have breeding rights. I kinda want the beta to be with the beta mare, but they don’t have to be.

Beta Mare: ~Reserved~
Sweet mare and kinda clumsy and silly but she is the best friend of the lead and knows him best. She has no wishes to be with him though and will not if it comes down to it. This character is also open to be whatever personality she wants.

(Can be with whoever you want if Lead stallion allows, if not then the boys become rogues and either have to fight for a mare, get to know a mare and sneak around, or become friends with the Lead to the point that he allows you in)

At the beginning I will be making a set Herd Rules List, with the aid of the lead stallion. You must follow the rules unless told otherwise.
