Introduction
After the burial, Star packed all she could, lit the building on fire, and ran for dear life. She knew Violet was after her. She needed a way to get out of the city. To start anew.
Star jogged through the town, her hood pulled up over her head to hide her identity. Her pale hair was hidden in her black cape. Just keep your head down… Act natural… She said mentally over and over. She was a good fighter, but an unfair fight was an unfair fight, and she knew very well that Violet’s men didn’t give a shit whether the fight was fair or not. Glancing to the side, she took in all of the boats that were docked in the harbor. Merchant ships took up most of the space, but there were other types of ships, some she couldn’t identify. However, she did spot one that peaked her interest…
This ship wasn’t the greatest looking. It was clearly docked for repairs; one could easily spot the difference between the old wood and the new wood that was used for said repairs. There was a flag with the well known skull and cross bones flying high over the main mast, which in itself looks shiny and new, not matching the older smaller masts. “Perhaps this could work? It appears as if they are setting sail soon…” She mumbled to herself.
Starlight walked down the docks, keeping her head down so she didn’t get recognized. Finally she made her way to the gangplank of this strange pirate ship. She took a quick look around and made her way on board. She found herself surprised that there was no one on board… Perhaps they were enjoying their last day on land before a long voyage? Who cares. Star just wanted to get away from this place. She went under the deck and darted silently down a steep, wooden staircase so where most of the cargo was held. She chose a nice, comfy spot behind what seemed to be barrels full of potatoes. She sat down and curled up into a tight ball, covering her body with her cape. She was exhausted, mentally and physically. Clutching her pendent, she fell into a restless sleep full of nightmares.
“Oi! Look what we have here!”
Starlight jerked awake. How long had she been asleep? She wasn’t sure. But one thing she was sure of was just how much trouble she was going to be in. Before she could shake of her drowsiness, a pair of beefy hands grabbed both her arms and hoisted her into the air. “Let go of me, you oaf!” She shouted and thrashed about, kicking and writhing in the big man’s hands. But he had an iron grip.
The man held fast, somehow walking up the steep stairs with the struggling Neko in his arms. All the while, he was shouting, “We’ve got a stowaway! We’ve got a stowaway!” As soon as he made his way onto the deck, Star in tow, her senses were attacked by the sea. Her nostrils were filled with the salty air, sea spray assaulted her from every angle, and blue could be seen forever.
As the S word echoed throughout the entire ship, the many pirate that inhabited her perked up. A stowaway? On their ship!? All of the pirates began to fill with rage.
“A stowaway, ey? Alright Erik, bring the wily bastard up here!” One pirate shouted to the man that had Star in a suffocating bear hug.
“I’ve gotter! Watch out, she’s a wild one she is!” As the supposed Erik spoke, Star was doing her best to try to escape, but, once again, this man had arms thicker than the mast pole.
“Someone go grab some rope!”
“Ay, sir!”
“No! Release me, now!” Star’s hood fell off as she trashed, and her pure white hair and ears came free, causing a gasp the fly through the small sea of pirates that had gathered. Their hushed whispers hit her ears like cannonballs, “What is she?”, “Those ears…”, “Does she have a tail as well?”. Before she knew it, she was bound, her arms tied to her sides.
“So, what do you suppose we do with ‘er?” Erik asked, scratching his scruffy beard.
“I say… we throw her overboard!” The crowd began to hoot and holler that this announcement. Starlight’s eyes grew wide with fear. She struggled more desperately, but she couldn’t reach far back enough to cut the ropes off.
Erik seemed hesitant, the bloke probably had at least a little heart, but the cheering crowd swayed him easily. He picked up Starlight and began to make her way to the edge of the ship. “No, please!” Perhaps coming onto this shit wasn’t the best idea. Now she was going to drown in the middle of no where.
“Oi! What in hell is going on out here?” One voice overpowered the rest. Star craned her neck to see a man, a rather dashing one at that, making his way towards the crowd.
“C-cap’n Rubber! Its good to see you-”
“I know you’re my first mate, Samuel, but that doesn’t mean that you get to make decisions without me.” Ah, so this was the captain. That explained the sudden disinterest of the other pirates that slowly moved away from the crowd. This Samuel turned whiter than a ghost. “Erik! Set ‘er down, lemme have a look at ‘er.” The captain nodded at the big burly man, who followed these orders. He set Star down on the ground, but kept a good grip on her hair, causing her face to twist with pain. Rubber walked around her, his gaze traveling up and down her. “Hmm… She’s a healthy looking filly, wouldn’t you say so, lads?” The crew nodded. Star gulped. “I might have to take her to my quarters for further inspection...” There was an uproar of laughter from the crew as Star turned sheet white. Rubber himself let out a hearty chuckle. “I’m just playing with you, love. Now, since you trespassed on my ship, you’re going to have to pay in one way or another. I’m giving you one chance. Either accept your fate and swan dive into the ocean, or go against this crew’s best fighter, other than myself, of course.”
Star grimaced. “I’ll fight.” She said quickly.
“You heard her, Erik. Cut the lass loose.” With those words, Star was freed from her binds. She rolled her shoulders and cracked her knuckles threateningly.
“Where is this best fighter of yours?” Starlight asked, her golden eyes flashing with eagerness.
Rubber waved a man over, and Star couldn’t help but feel a bit nervous. This man was tall, even taller than the brute Erik, but this man’s body was much more lean and athletic. This best fighter pulled out a sword. Star was technically weaponless, but Rubber seemed to just bat an eye. “Ready?” Star didn’t get a chance to respond before the captain shouted, “Fight!”
The fight was over in mere moments. The man lunged and Star sidestepped, did a full 360 and slammed her heel into the back of his head. The man slumped over. Rubber raise an eyebrow. He was surprised. Star crossed her arms and flicked her ears before looking questioningly at Rubber. “Is that all?”
“Well then… Hmm, I guess he wasn’t suitable to fight. How about you brawl it out with me?”
Star shook her head. “No, sir, for you are a captain. I am not worthy to battle with a man such as you.”
Rubber laughed. “I like this one, lads. I think we should keep her. What’s your name, lass?”
“My name is Starlight.”
“Well then Starlight, welcome to the Black Tide!”

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 2 authors
Exactly a month into the Black Tides voyage and with hardly a sign of civilisation, the ship was currently holding position in the middle of the open ocean, with no land in sight, with no sign of the captain for a few days either which would be the main explanation why the ship had set anchor when they had no idea which way they should continue to navigate. This stop was 5 days ago now, and the crew have generally been lounging around, drinking, singing, dancing, gambling and fighting.
However all of that pretty much ended almost literally overnight on the third day, when the clouds completely broke and the ship came under the punishing rays of the sun, reflecting off of the water to make it doubly potent, had ground the entire proceedings to a complete halt. The absurd heat had forced the pirates to put off all singing, dancing and fighting- after all they found it hard enough just to sit out on deck for more than a few hours, the frayed tempers and not to mention the constant smell wafting from the sweat dripped crew was more than enough to put them off from even gambling in their spare time. So it was that they were left to sit around, trying to get somewhere cooler on the ship- a number had decided that the rigging was a good place, whilst some had insisted on hiding away on the poop deck, some did try to hide in the food stores but were thrown out when a number were found sleeping next to the rum.
Even the legendary motivational skills of Samuel was not enough to make the crew even get up in the evenings for a jig, let alone working the ship into a reasonable condition. Unsurprisingly however the sight of the latest addition to the crew did more than enough to perk up even the most heatstruck crewman. At first they were distrustful of a woman being not only on board ship, but even being allowed to crew the ship, the whole thing would cause no end of bad luck in their eyes, as time went on these eyes began to notice the assets of Starlight- both of them in fact, in fact they had begun to notice them a lot more when they realised the only clothing she ever wore were the exact some ones, and clothing tended to get body fitting after a while in the heat.
Eventually even this daily 'perking up' was not enough- especially when nobody on the crew seemed able to get Star out of her clothes either- and the captains absence was continuously more and more annoying, with many a grumble and groaning both above and bellow deck, even when the moaning pirate was sober. The whole matter was compounded by the fact that nobody could work up the courage to actually enter his private quarters and see where they should be going, nor could they go to Samuel, who would simply order them back to work. What the crew needed to get back on track was someone brave enough to risk the captain but not high enough in rank to be unapproachable.
Obviously, being the only female in an entirely male crew wasn’t going to be glamorous, but Star wasn’t the most picky character either. As long as she had a place to sleep and food on her plate, she was generally happy. Generally. But when the Captain had ordered them to drop the anchor in the middle of nowhere, Star was a bit sceptical. As the days crawled on and the heat began, Star grew more and more annoyed. The crew was rather antsy as well, with most of her crewmates attempting to bribe her to do a number of... things. Star sure as hell wasn’t a prude, but the last thing she wanted was to be in bed with one of these sweaty men who hadn’t seen action in multiple weeks.
With her feline ears, Star was able to pick up on all of the gossip around the ship. A couple of crew members talked about how they wanted to speak to the captain, who hadn’t shown his face in a few days. But, of course, they were all too scared to face the captain, who apparently hated being interrupted when he was locked in his quarters.
Star didn’t care. As soon as the sixth day started and the intense heat continued, she knew she had to figure out what was going on. She glanced at the solid oak door that marked the entrance to the captain’s quarters. Clenching her jaw slightly, she began to make her way towards that oak door, her footsteps heavy with exhaustion and anger. She heard murmurs erupt behind her, but that wouldn’t stop her. Samuel even attempted to order her to stop, but she didn’t care. She had to know what was happening.
Gritting her teeth, she gripped the burning hot, golden door knob. After taking a deep breath, she turned it and pushed the heavy door open. She saw the esteemed Captain Rubber, sitting behind his desk, simply fiddling with a map. Letting out a quiet growl, she shut the door behind her and took a few steps forward. “Ahh, Captain Rubber, how nice it is to see you, considering you’ve been cooped up in here for almost a week.” Her tone was dripping with sarcasm and grew progressively more angry as she continued to speak.“If you don’t mind me asking, what the fuck are we doing, sitting around in the middle of the ocean?! Its quite literally hot as hell out there!” She had abandoned her cape in her quarters since it was just too hot, so her pale white tail was free to lash about behind her. It also happened to expose more of her luscious body, but that’s not important.
It was clear how angry she was. Star wanted answers, and she wasn’t going to calm down until she got them.
The poor man had long since run out of wine next to him and had failed to remember on a number of occasions to go out and get some more from the ships stores, 'Ah well' he thought to himself 'Its only been a short while, I can do without a drink for a little bit.' His thoughtful navigation was shortly ruined by the sound of angry stomping coming up to the door to his quarters- strange how even when angry someone can still sound feminine, even on a pirate ship. He gave it a few moments after the door had been opened and the one female member of his crew so rudely pushed her way into his chambers.
“Ahh, Captain Rubber, how nice it is to see you, considering you’ve been cooped up in here for almost a week.” With a drawn out sigh the captain laid down the finely wrought navigational devices and leaned back in his chair. "Always a pleasure to see you too my little stowaway. It be very nice of you to notice my absence." Actually he was just as surprised as anyone that he had been in here for so long, perhaps getting a clock fitted would actually be a good idea. “If you don’t mind me asking, what the fuck are we doing, sitting around in the middle of the ocean?! Its quite literally hot as hell out there!”
With a disappointed grunt the captain raised his eyes ever so slowly from the map to look at the Neko crew-woman- at chest height, not at all with a look of lust in his eyes like the rest of the lecherous members of his crew, but rather with the body language and look of someone who does believe that there is anything better to be looking at above the chest- not to mention his neck was aching just to raise it even to this height and he could barely move it any further- "You know I be very glad that ye took it upon yourself to point out tha' we still be in the same spot that I told us to stay in a week ago, its not as if I actually intended us to be somewhere I can navigate from so we can get to our next location is it?" He said matching sarcasm for sarcasm "I say its a good thing I haven't captained this ship and crew for years else we would have drowned long ago." His eyes now at last flicked up to the Nekos, with the full force of a lions glare. "And as far as heat is concerned, I had entirely failed to notice until your half naked form had decided to barge into my room, I have to say its one of the more forward attempts I've had so far, yet still interesting." It could not be doubted that he had failed to notice the heat, considering that he still wore his tri-corner hat with the extravagant peacock feather sticking out of it, as well as the long red and purple coat that covered his muscular form, yet now that someone had decided to point such a thing out he was beginning to wish he could shrug his way out of it.
Starlight’s ears flattened to the top of her head. “Hey! I-I wasn’t… I wasn’t attempting to do anything besides figure out why we’ve been in the middle of no where for almost a week!” Her lips were curled up in an aggravated hiss, her sharp fangs bared for a few moments before she bothered to stop growling at her new captain.
The neko turned on her heel and paced back and forth a couple of times before coming to a stop in front of the captain’s desk once more. “Well… Regardless, we can’t stay here for much longer. We’re sweating half to death out there, which explains just why I’ve shed my shirt. Perhaps I could be of assistance to you? Where are we headed? You obviously know more about navigating than I do… but if you need anything I could get it for you, perhaps?” She asked, tilting her head to the side.
His eyes continued to bore into her skull as she paced back and forth across his floor, the number of times people had done that he was almost surprised it hadn't fallen through already. “Well… Regardless, we can’t stay here for much longer. We’re sweating half to death out there, which explains just why I’ve shed my shirt. Perhaps I could be of assistance to you? Where are we headed? You obviously know more about navigating than I do… but if you need anything I could get it for you, perhaps?” Some how the girl had managed to go from angry to flustered to practical in a matter of moments, highly admirable aboard a ship where the social dynamics can be completely chaotic depending on the time of day.
"You know sweating half to death isn't sweating completely to death, they can manage well enough out there." despite saying this he did take the time to push his way out of his greatcoat and roll up the sleeves of his silken undershirt. "Regardless though, you'll be utterly delighted to hear that we will be setting sail tonight- once the heat has cooled a little." He waved her over to the map and pointed to a empty part of the ocean. "This here is where we be" if the crew were expecting to reach land any time soon they would have been horribly disappointed as the map was blank for miles around- in fact the nearest landmass was back the way they came. Rubber then ran a finger over the paper to a rough drawing of what looked like teeth a distance away. "This here be where we be goin'. Its called the Krakens Maw, it be a massive reef- huge spikes of rock sticking above the waves. Legends say that an ancient Kraken was frozen to stone there to stop its rampagin' across the seas. Tha' didn't bloody work, the currants there can cut down a journey massively, or crash a ship across the Maw, meanin' the entire reef is just sitting pretty waiting for someone to come along and pillage the countless treasures just sitting there with nobody to guard them." He then lent back in his chair and looked back up at the Neko. "Now as for what you can do, you're certainly doin' a damn good job as a moral booster." He chuckled to himself. "No doubt the other members of the crew have been trying to get you to bed them? If its really as hot as you say it be out there, then their brains may be addled enough for them to try to be more forward if you catch my drift. So if you want to risk that you can go back out there, or you can hunker down in here until we are to set sail- Nobody is going to disturb me, at least they have a shred of decency in them" He raised an eyebrow in way of gesturing at the Neko.
Starlight could only huff as she recrossed her arms. “That may be true, but that’s half way closer to death than I want to be.”
"Regardless though, you'll be utterly delighted to hear that we will be setting sail tonight- once the heat has cooled a little."
“Thanks goodness.” She let out a sigh of relief and jogged over to the Captain once he waved her over. She leaned over the desk, resting her elbows on the solid oak. Her tail stood up high and swayed in the air rhythmically as her interest grew. She’d always been amazed by the work of navigators. The way they used the stars and the sun to figure out their location left her awed.
"This here is where we be." She nodded with understanding and followed Rubber’s finger as he moved it across the map. "This here be where we be goin'. Its called the Krakens Maw, it be a massive reef- huge spikes of rock sticking above the waves. Legends say that an ancient Kraken was frozen to stone there to stop its rampagin' across the seas. Tha' didn't bloody work, the currants there can cut down a journey massively, or crash a ship across the Maw, meanin' the entire reef is just sitting pretty waiting for someone to come along and pillage the countless treasures just sitting there with nobody to guard them."
Her eyes sparkled with interest. Treasures? What kinds of treasures? “Wow… Amazing.” She flashed a toothy, playful grin as the tip of her tail flicked apprehensively.
So if you want to risk that you can go back out there, or you can hunker down in here until we are to set sail- Nobody is going to disturb me, at least they have a shred of decency in them."
Star let out an aggravated huff as she stood up straight. “Your men are about as subtle as a stampede of bull elephants. They’ve tried bribing me with money, food, clothes, er… services. I’m no prostitute. It takes a little more than that to get me under you. I have to like you at least.” She grumbled softly, her ears twitching. “I’ve already finished my duties for the day… I suppose I could stay in here. Last thing I need is for that oaf Erik to catch me by surprise again. In regards to being decent, as you can tell by my outfit, I’m not exactly the most decent lass.” She smirked, her golden irises glimmering with mischief.
Starlight hummed as she hopped over to a loveseat type couch sitting against the wall. She dove onto the couch and curled up, nuzzling against a pillow. “I hope you don’t mind if I get comfy.” She then proceeded to kick her trousers off before finding a comfortable position. She purred softly, a small smile on her face. “So Captain, we sail to the Maw and then what? Where is the treasure located?” She asked, glancing at him curiously.
He removed his tri-corner hat with a flourish of his hand and laid it down next to his map before looking back up at the Neko. "In regards to being decent, as you can tell by my outfit, I’m not exactly the most decent lass. He chuckled at that remark and replied slyly himself. "Perhaps not, but you're the most decent lass on this here ship that's for bloody sure"
His eyes tracked her as she made her way over to the loveseat- if she knew what had happened there in the past she probably wouldn't be so eager to take her trousers off, actually scratch that its most people tended to take off their trousers anyway. Rubber pushed his chair back and rocked on the back legs, his eyes casually scanning over the Nekos body with only a hint of interest. “So Captain, we sail to the Maw and then what? Where is the treasure located?” He chuckled with a grin at the inquisitiveness of the feline female. "Ye be catchin' on quick there lass. Ya see, for decades now treasure and merchant ships have tried to use the Maw to shorten their journeys, when that there plan failed they got dashed against the rocks and their ships half sunk- the gold they carried trapped in the battered hulls. Very few are mad or brave enough to try to salvage the ships, so almost every ship in that mile wide field of death be full o' gold an' riches. The treasure dear lass, is in every single ship we can reach before the tide comes in and the currant gets deadly. And tha's not even the beginning of what I've got planned." He tapped the side of his nose to indicate he wasn't giving any details of that away yet.
Starlight couldn’t help but pout ever so slightly. “Aww… Why can’t you tell me th-” She paused mid sentence, her furry white ears perking atop her head. She sat up and scowled as she turned her head to look at the door. “Well, it appears are if this conversation is no longer private…” She grumbled under her breath. Her powerful ears were able to detect a few eavesdroppers sitting outside the captain’s door with their ears pressed against the solid wood. She stood up and walked over to the Captain’s desk and leaned over it once more to mutter something in the man’s ear. “I know how to get rid of them and put their bettings to a screeching halt.”
With that, Star’s mischievous grin returned. She turned so her back was to the captain, her bum was against the desk and she was facing the door. “Ooh my, Captain… Your hands are soo firm…” She made sure to project her voice so the men sneaking outside the door would be able to hear. She knew they could considering she herself heard an audible gasp. “Mmm… Th-that feels so good… Don’t stop…” She made sure she sounded as breathless as possible. She then began to shift her weight against the table, bumping her hip against it, causing it to shift along the ground periodically. Star also made sure to throw in the occasional moan and groan.
Star almost laughed as she heard grumbles of disappointment once the men walked away from the door, defeated. However, once she was sure they were out of earshot, she let out a couple giggles. She turned so she was facing the Captain once more. “D’you think that convinced ‘em?” She chuckled, her tail swaying with excitement.
That is not to say he was entirely against the whole situation, rather the opposite in fact once he realised her plan, after all who can argue when a mostly undressed woman decided to plonk her backside down on your desk with the soul aim to tease the members of the crew in the best way possible. Whilst she gave her rather impressive act, a little too impressively accurate actually, Rubber kept a hand up to his face, stroking his chin as a way of keeping his own laughter in. Eventually he too heard the last of the downhearted pirates shuffle off- no doubt to drown their sorrows in the ships stores, if they can make it past Samuel.
"D’you think that convinced ‘em?” That was pretty much all it took to finally release the laughter that had been building up. Almost instantly Rubber creased up as his deep booming cannon of a laugh rocked his body, even going so far as to knock him off balance and push him backwards- where he stopped dead in the air, his head about an inch from the wooden floor below him.
"Ah dear lass." He managed between gulps of air. "I dare say tha' was the best damn fun I have had in a long long while. You sure do know how to entertain a man." He raised a hand from where it rested on the deck and waved it at her "Hell even if they had decided to barge in they would have gotten.... Well exactly the right idea."
Starlight laughed and giggled along with her captain. She wiggled around where she stood, looking more like an excited puppy than a cat. Still chuckling, she shifted Rubber’s desk back to where it was before she had moved it. “Well, I’m glad that you thought that was entertaining. I try.” Her smile was full of pride. She was glad she could make her captain laugh. So much so that he fell backwards, but he seemed to magically catch himself in the air… Hmm, Star will have to ask about that later. She still had more questions.
“So…” Star turned on her heel and leapt back onto the couch. She purred and hummed happily as she rolled onto her back, propping her feet up against one of the armrests of the loveseat. “Back down to business. How do you suppose we get into the Maw without having this ship end up wrecked like the others? Also, if most of the ships have sunken, how to we get the treasure? Are some of us going to have to go diving?” She asked curiously before rolling back over onto her stomach. She then squirmed until her chin rested on the armrest her feet were on, so she was looking directly at the captain. “I wouldn’t be against diving. I like water, despite what stereotypes you’ve heard about cats and all that shit, but I dunno how much I’d like to go diving in treacherous waters. I believe the crew would have similar feelings about this.”
Back down to business. How do you suppose we get into the Maw without having this ship end up wrecked like the others? Also, if most of the ships have sunken, how to we get the treasure? Are some of us going to have to go diving?” The Nekos practicality was nothing short of a refreshing surprise. "Well its not like we haven't had to do salvaging like this before, aye its far too dangerous for a ship the size of the Tide to get through those waters. But I won't be using the Tide, instead I'll be goin' in on one o' the longboats, as well as anyone else who feels up for a little bit of an adventure, to see what we can find. As for diving, well I'll leave that a little bit of a surprise, I'm sure like everythin' else I do, it'll be very impressing."
He moved around the desk until there was nothing but open air separating the two of them and sat back down on the corner. “I wouldn’t be against diving. I like water, despite what stereotypes you’ve heard about cats and all that shit, but I dunno how much I’d like to go diving in treacherous waters. I believe the crew would have similar feelings about this.” He smiled and waved a finger at her. "You know, this is hardly the worst situation I've managed to drag this crew an' ship into." he paused for a minute then lent back so as to also get a chance to stretch his knees out. "Actually on the subject of stereotypes and cats, I've been wondering a little somthin'. If you've got a cats ears and a cats tail, do ye have a cats tongue too? All covered in backwards spikes that feel like sandpaper when they lick you, little blighters."
Star let out a thoughtful hum as she looked up at the ceiling, thinking to herself. “Well, I’ve always enjoying finding booty, so you can count me in on this adventure, cap’n.” She smiled happily. This was going to be her first adventure officially as a pirate. Even though she wasn’t really looking to be a pirate once Master was killed, she feels as if she’s made a good decision… Hopefully.
"You know, this is hardly the worst situation I've managed to drag this crew an' ship into."
Starlight huffed before chuckling. “That’s not surprising.”
"Actually on the subject of stereotypes and cats, I've been wondering a little somthin'. If you've got a cats ears and a cats tail, do ye have a cats tongue too? All covered in backwards spikes that feel like sandpaper when they lick you, little blighters."
Star sat up so she was sitting on the couch properly. She crossed her legs as she began to speak. “Actually no. That’s one of the better cat traits I wish I had. That would also answer any of your questions on whether or not I groom myself. But a spiky tongue would make certain things more… interesting, that’s for sure.” Her tone was laced with playfulness and mischief, and was perhaps the littlest bit challenging. She wanted to see how the Captain would react to her teasing.
The captain stood and stretched a little and wondered around the room a little bit too to work the blood back into his joints. He cast a forlorn glance at the empty goblet of wine on his desk and then at the door, before looking back at the goblet and finally deciding to forgo going outside to attempt to find more wine. Eventually he settled on the idea of wondering over to the loveseat and drop down next to Star, one part because it was far more comfortable, another because the dividers he had been using had started to leave and imprint where he had been sat on them, but also to see if he could make the Neko uncomfortable by suddenly getting close to her.
Leaning back into the seat, with one arm thrown over the top of it, he pushed his legs out and placed the heel of one boot on the top of toes of the other and gave a sideways grin at Star. "Ye do realise, tha' your little joke earlier is going to make a number of the crew members unhappy, that they thought I was the one ta deflower ye, an' no' them. Don't be surprised if they end up hanging around your bed for details all of a sudden either." He refrained himself from chuckling for one, instead remaining with his eyes locked on the female crewman.
“It probably would, Captain…” She hummed, her eyes lingering on the captain as he walked back and forth about the cabin. He seemed to want something, considering how he was constantly glancing at the door, but he shook off and plopped down beside her. Star’s ears flicked as she turned her head so she was looking right at the man. She didn’t make a single move in an attempt to shift away from him.
"Ye do realise, tha' your little joke earlier is going to make a number of the crew members unhappy, that they thought I was the one ta deflower ye, an' no' them. Don't be surprised if they end up hanging around your bed for details all of a sudden either."
“Ahh, who cares. Their reactions are and will be worth it. Though I doubt their advances will stop altogether. I am the only woman for many, many miles. They all want a piece of this pussy.” She grinned widely before laughing again at her own little joke. Puns were her favorite. “Oooh, sorry. I couldn’t help myself.” She hummed joyfully, her tail curled around her legs to rest on her thighs.
“Ahh, who cares. Their reactions are and will be worth it. Though I doubt their advances will stop altogether. I am the only woman for many, many miles. They all want a piece of this pussy.” Despite the discomfort that was growing across his body Rubber could not help but burst out laughing himself, his deep laugh contrasting Stars own high laughter.
He sighed after a minute to get his breathing back to normal before grinning at Star. "Lass if ye were any other member of my crew- or ye were wearing more clothes I'd probably slap you across the knee for such a gag. As it is I'm afraid that my touch alone would excite you beyond containment." He chuckled to himself before looking back at the door. "Havin' you aboard will sure make this place far more entertainin', no' just for myself but to see all their reactions to ye." He stifled an irritated sigh at the heat. "Gee ye weren't kiddin' when it came to the blasted heat were ye? I could have done with the view if it mean' I didn' have to suffer too."
Starlight giggled like a little school girl. She swept her legs onto her side of the couch and leaned her head on Rubber’s shoulder. “Perhaps it would… Why in the world would you be against that?” She hummed.
"Havin' you aboard will sure make this place far more entertainin', no' just for myself but to see all their reactions to ye."
Star beamed widely, flashing her pearly white fangs. “I’m glad you enjoy my presence, Captain.”
"Gee ye weren't kiddin' when it came to the blasted heat were ye? I could have done with the view if it mean' I didn' have to suffer too."
“Why don’t you get comfy too, Captain? You must have been sitting in that chair for quite a long time… Perhaps you could use a bit of a massage?” She asked, a sly grin on her face. She then nuzzled her head against Rubber’s shoulder, her soft ears making contact with his shirt. She let out a purr from deep in her throat.
“Why don’t you get comfy too, Captain? You must have been sitting in that chair for quite a long time… Perhaps you could use a bit of a massage?” He gave a cocky half smile as he looked down at the Neko- now nestling up against his shoulder, which tensed involuntarily at the contact, he tilted his head slightly and pulled back in thought. "Ye know, I once knew of an assassin who would kill people with massages, managed to relax the muscles to the poin' where the organs themselves just upped and stopped." He ran his tongue over his teeth as he remembered that particular incident. "How do I know, you won't be jus' as relaxing eh dear lass?"
He gently reached up and placed a hand on the top of her head, just missing her pointed ears, and slowly stroked through a few curls of silver hair, his fingers interweaving with the shining strands as he pulled his hand away. His eyes tracked his hand for a minute before coming back to meet the Nekos own eyes with a devious light in his eyes. "I suppose there ain't much of a better way to find out just how much feline flexibility ye managed to have really. Now tha' is somethin' the crew would jump overboard to see I can tell ye now."
Starlight grinned and purred much louder. “Oh trust me, Captain, you’ll be too focused on what’s going on too relax entirely.” She tilted her head up to look at him just as he placed his hand on her head. He ran his fingers through her silky white hair. Star made no moves, allowing him to do as he pleased. Her golden irises gleamed with mischief once their gazes met.
"I suppose there ain't much of a better way to find out just how much feline flexibility ye managed to have really. Now tha' is somethin' the crew would jump overboard to see I can tell ye now."
“Mmm… I can assure you, I am extremely flexible, Captain.” She purred, her tail tip flicking back and forth with excitement.
"I'm entirely sure that it would be very relaxing and entertaining lass- actually I can just about see it too" He motioned with his eyes just at the point where tail and body connected. But with this heat I be half afraid we'd damn near fuse together, unless you had a way of figuring tha' out too hmmm? With that he used the toe of one boot to push the heel of his other boot off and to slide it fully off his foot, he then repeated it with the other boot. In a single motion he swept his legs up onto the loveseat and laid down at the same time, raising one leg just so it passed over Stars head, so that one was alongside her and the other hung over the edge. His head was propped up on the pillow he had been leaning an arm on and he laid in such a way that no matter how he looked at the Neko, he ended up giving her a suggestive look.
Star watched with interest as Rubber sat up and placed a leg on the other side of her body. The look on his face was like an open invitation, and Star was glad to take it. She leaned forward so she was on all fours and crawled toward her captain, her eyes brimming with lust. As Star stopped, sitting in his lap with her face mere inches away from his, the scene faded to black…
