❝I was born in blood, and in blood and only blood I will die.❞

| Name |
Aleksander Petrov
| Nickname |
Aleksander, Aleks, Sacha, Sander
| Gender |
Male
| Age |
Looks to be around thirty-seven, however, he acts as if he is so much older. When he thinks nobody is looking, his face seems to gain years in age and fill with sorrow. Aleksander is actually around fifty years old.
| Sexuality |
Homosexual
| Role |
Vampire Leader
| Eye Color |
Dark brown. Mind you, not a pretty dark brown like the colour of coffee or dark chocolate or fluffy cats, but more of a dark dark brown, like an oil slick. He's not even lucky enough to have the rainbow tint to it, unless you happen to be shining a light in his eyes, which really is not a particularly good idea. His eyes are just a bland, muddy brown with no particular appealing tint of colour to them. They are mildly almond-shaped, due to his east-Russian heritage. For some reason, Sacha seems to love drawing attention to his eyes despite the horrid colour. He is often wearing heavy eye makeup, such as eyeliner and mascara, and seems to be doing his best to draw as much attention to his eyes as possible. Well, we all have different values of beauty.
| Hair Color |
Unlike his eyes, Sander's hair is actually quite nice. It falls down to nearly his chest in thick dreadlocks that are surprisingly soft. Naturally, Sander's hair is dark blonde, but he's taken the liberty of dyeing bright blue streaks into it. After all, it's no fun having boring hair. He tends to wear his hair pulled into a ponytail purely for convenience, but if there is a special event, he is almost always wearing it loose.
| Height |
6'5". He's not a small man, I can tell you that.
| Weight |
215 pounds. He's not skinny or fat, he's just average. Aleksander certainly has muscle; you can see it in his arms and upper torso, but he chooses to protect his abs with a layer of fat. He has broad shoulders, and is just generally built like a tank. Basically, he looks like the sort of person who you really wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley at night.
| Skin Tone |
Sacha's skin tone is certainly an interesting one. He suffers from severe vitiligo, so his skin has a very uneven tone to it. Some areas of his skin are a yellow-tan colour, whiles others are pure white. The most noticeable patches are covering the palms of his hands as well as his fingers, and the entire right side of his face. He also has slightly less noticeable patches on either side of his stomach, as well as on his left foot. He is often very embarrassed by his vitiligo, and therefore tends to always cover as much skin as possible, and he will often put on make-up to conceal the white patches.
| Distinct Markings |
Well, his vitiligo certainly counts as a distinct marking. Other than that, though, he doesn't really have any unusual markings. There are two small circular scars on his neck, but Aleks is quite sure that most vampires have a similar scar. The tips of his fingers, especially those of his right hand, are covered in multiple tiny scars as well. He has eight piercings in his left ear, none in his right.
| Physical Description |
Aleksander is a tall, sturdily built man with very impressive hair and a rather interesting skin tone. He dresses in a mild cybergoth style. His clothes aren't too extreme purely because Sander is no fan of drawing any more attention than necessary, but it is still quite extravagant in order to draw attention to something other than his skin. He likes tight clothes. Really tight clothes. Tight, as in, sometimes people question if they're painted on. They're not, of course, but knowing Aleks' modesty, well lack-thereof to be specific, that is actually a fairly likely thing to happen.
Black is clearly one of his favourite colours; or, at least, it seems to be, judging by the colour of all of his clothes. He also appears to own a cat. A white cat. Either that, or he has a boyfriend who likes to shed white hair all over his clothes. Judging by Sacha's apparent dislike of long-term relationships, the former is more likely. He has a shoe size of US Size 15, which he absolutely hates due to how difficult it is to find shoes.
| Habits |
-Petting his hair || Sacha's hair is soft and nice to pet, yes, but seriously, he has an obsession or something. If he's doing something that doesn't involve his hands, chances are Aleks is putting his hair. That's probably the main reason why he keeps it so long, actually...
-Biting his lip || This really isn't a good habit for a vampire (Fangs are pointy, after all), but it's one Aleksander has. If he's nervous or thinking or bored, he'll always be chewing on his lower lip. The result of this is his lip looking like someone went at it with a fistful of knives. He has a tendency to always wear chapstick because of this, and has tried coat his lips in wasabi to prevent chewing on them, until he realised that wasabi burnt like all the fires of hell when he put it on his chewed lips.
-Biting his nails || Again, not a good habit for someone with fangs. If Aleks is nervous, he will start biting his nails. If he misses, he tends to end up with puncture holes on the tips of his fingers. It's clear to tell that he doesn't really think when he bites his nails, due to the multiple scars on his fingertips.
| Likes |
-Organization || Sander loves organization. He is constantly carrying markers of at least five different colours with him in order to colour-code and label anything that may be out of organization. Everything in his room is labeled perfectly, with not a single sheet of paper out of place, and even his bookshelf is organized by colour. People joke about him being majorly OCD, but he really isn't. He's okay with things being disorganized, and he's not compelled to organize everything, he just likes to and thinks it makes life a lot easier.
-Sunlight || What a tragic thing to like. Aleks absolutely loves sunlight, which sucks considering he can't go outside in it. He makes up for it by watching movies that have a lot of sunlight in them, and by just letting people describe it to him.
-Goth Metal || The more depressing the better. Sacha has a complete love of goth metal, depressive black metal, doom metal, really any type of metal as long as it's depressing. He listens to other types of music, of course, but metal is his preference. Most people tend to dislike his music, so he makes a point of playing it as loudly as possible whenever he has the chance.
| Dislikes |
-Shoe Shopping || Do you have any clue how impossibly difficult it is to get size 15 shoes? Especially when it comes to gothic-style shoes and boots, which are hard enough to find in normal sizes.
-Long Term Relationships || Commitment is not one of Aleksander's strengths. In fact, it's one of his biggest weaknesses. Aleks hates to be committed to someone. Hates it. Short romances are incredibly fun, and he adores them, but the minute someone mentions the future, he runs like all the demons of hell are chasing him. Sacha also doesn't like being committed to only one partner, and is often dating more than one man at once. He doesn't consider it cheating, considering he tells all of his boyfriends about any other ones he may have, and anyone who objects to this certainly won't find themselves on Sander's list of lovers (And, yes, he does actually have a list, because Sacha is just weird like that).
-Weakness || Not any weakness, however, but his weakness specifically. Aleks couldn't care less if someone else was weak, but he absolutely hates it if he is in a position of weakness.
| Strengths |
-Physical strength || Sander is very strong, physically, due to his large amount of muscle.
-Comforting people || If someone is upset, Sacha is generally the first person by their side, giving them a hug in an attempt to cheer them up. He hates it when people are sad, so he will always do everything within his power to cheer someone up. This tends to involve giving them chocolate.
-Make-up art || Yes, you've read that right. One of Aleksander's main strengths is his skill at doing make-up. By saying this, he doesn't mean simple make-up like what you would wear to the prom (although, now that you ask, he is quite good at doing make-up like that as well). He means make-up like the stuff in your standard zombie movie. With a little bit of effort, he can completely change someone's appearance, whether he makes them look like another human being, or like a complete fantasy creature. This can be quite useful when making disugises.
| Weaknesses |
-His skin || Aleksander is very self-conscious about the mottled colour of his skin, and this self-consciousness often prevents him from being as social as he would like to be. He struggles with severe insecurities about his skin, and any rude remarks can send him into a severely depressed state.
-Flexibility || Sacha is about as flexible as a wooden board. This can almost be taken literally. Aleks is incredibly un-flexible. Not only does this make it difficult for him to do things that require flexibility, but it also puts him at a higher risk of getting injured.
-Relationships || His polyamorous nature is not tolerated by some people, and has gotten him quite a few enemies, whether they were disapproving parents of his boyfriends, or the boyfriends themselves. He is not good at smoothing out arguments, and tends to leave that to other people.
| Weapon(s) |
-Nunchaku || Sure, call it a cliche, say that everyone uses Japanese weapons, but that's what Aleksander is good at fighting with. He took karate for a good eight or nine years when he was younger, and one of the things his sensei taught him was how to fight with nunchaku. He enjoyed fighting with them, and spent the last few years honing his skills, so now he can claim to be an amazing fighter when it comes to using nunchaku.
-Himself || Quite a nice weapon to have, isn't it? Aleks is quite fit, and he has his height and weight as well, so he generally has an advantage in any fight. Sure, he's not invincible, and he's certainly not the perfect weapon for most situations, but, if there's a need for it, he is completely capable of fighting unarmed. His balance is slightly lacking, however, so it is fairly simple to use his weight against him and knock him down. Also, what he has in strength he lacks in flexibility, so that can also be used against him.
| Personality |
Aleksander is...well, he's Aleksander. He's a rather eccentric man. Sacha loves to talk in riddles, and doesn't understand half of the things that come out of his own mouth. Codes are one of his favourite things, and he is constantly creating new ones. This would be rather amusing, perhaps even sweet, if he were to actually give the key to the people he is talking to. Problem is, he doesn't, and he expects others to just figure out what he is saying. This makes conversation with Sander rather annoying.
He is remarkably kind, but rather shy and insecure. Aleks loves people, but he can rarely manage to make himself approach someone. The only exception to this is if someone is noticeably upset. He can't stand to see someone being sad. At that point, Sacha will completely forget his shyness, and he'll do everything he can think of to try and comfort them.
Sander is very self-conscious about his appearance, and absolutely hates it if someone comments on it. It doesn't matter whether the comment is positive or negative, he hates any and all comments. His friends have learned to just avoid making any remarks on appearance unless they happen to want him to go into a state where he completely stops talking and sends death glares at anyone who tries to talk to him. Perhaps a bit of an immature way of handling a situation, but, hey. No-one ever said that Aleksander was a mature person.
He knows of his position as a leader, and is not afraid to enforce it, no matter how insecure he feels. He expects that any of his commands are to be carried out without question, and will not hesitate to punish someone for insubordination. Sacha realises that he holds the responsibility, and that it is his job to make the right decisions. The pressure of trying to figure out what the 'right' decision is often causes him to be majorly stressed, but he refuses to let that show to all but the closest of his friends. Anyone who questions his actions will undoubtedly get punished.
| Potential Interest |
Well, he has his three current boyfriends: Joachim Anderson, Marcus Ibraihaim, and John Saito. Of course, this list is probably going to change in about a week, knowing how bad Aleks is with long-term relationships. If someone's interested, he's certainly open for new relationships, provided that the asker is good looking enough and is willing to share him with a few others.

Father: Peter Petrov | 79 (Age at Death) | Deceased
Mother: Yulia Petrov | 16 (Age at Death) | Deceased
Foster Father: Joachim Siegler | Appeared to be in his mid-forties, actually aged at around 132 years (Age at death) | Deceased
| History |
Sander's life started with death. He was born in a rundown hovel in sheets stained the red of blood. The only person there to watch this birth was his father, Peter. His mother lay dying on the bed due to blood-loss. Only once his mother had truly died did Sacha get any attention, and even that was only from a midwife taking him away from his grief stricken father.
For the first ten years of his life, he lived in an orphanage. His father had abandoned him, missing his mother Yulia too much to be able to care for a child. At age eleven, Sander was adopted. His foster father was not too bad of a guy. He was nice, and it was obvious that he cared for Sacha. There was just something that was...off...about him. Aleks wasn't quite sure what it was. All he knew was that he found his foster father mildly unnerving.
He started learning karate when living at his new home. By the time Aleksander was twenty, he had already achieved the ranking of black belt. Around this time, he had finally stopped fearing his foster father, and was actually on quite good terms with him. Sure, it was rather odd that Joachim, his foster father, slept through the entire day and only awoke at night, but Aleks just put it off as him being an eccentric writer. After all, weren't all authours mildly insane?
Aleks continued living with Joachim even after he had well passed the age of when he should have moved out, instead living with his foster father as if they were roommates, helping Joachim pay rent with the money he earned from the day job of working at a cafe he had. Despite being over twenty years older, Joachim ended up becoming a sort of brother to Sacha.
While his vitiligo had been plaguing him his entire life, it only became incredibly noticeable around the time when Aleksander turned twenty-six. His skin began to rapidly lose pigment, and, as a result, Sacha became severely depressed. He refused to talk to anyone, not even the multiple lovers he had at the time, and spent most of his day holed up in his room. As the days passed, he began to lose weight and pale, until it was clear that he would soon die unless someone did something to help him.
Joachim did everything to try and get Sander to start living his life again. Finally, in a last effort, he bought Sacha some costume make-up. This, surprisingly, was what cheered Sacha up again. He quickly became obsessed with costume make-up, and soon was wearing a different disguise every day.
While these disguises were what saved his life, they also ended up being his downfall. One day, Sander was walking around in the city where he lived, testing out a new zombies disguise he had created. Unfortunately for him, he decided to wear it on a day of the release of a new zombie movie. Bad, bad decision. Long story short, an insane fan of the movie thought he was an actual zombie and ended shooting him. Thankfully, it was only in the shoulder and not in the head, and the fan was too scared to double-tap. Sander managed to limp home, where he promptly collapsed, faint from blood-loss.
When Joachim came back home, he found Sacha passed out on the couch in a pool of his own blood, on the verge of death. At this point, he knew exactly what he had to do.
Sacha woke up the next evening, feeling like death and craving the taste of blood. He searched the house to find Joachim, and once he did, questioned him about why he felt this way. Sacha didn't even need Joachim's blank silence to figure out what had happened. At age 37, he, Aleksander Petrov, had become a vampire.
At first, he was outraged. Why hadn't Joachim warned him before? Why hadn't Joachim told him he was a vampire? Why had Joachim transformed him? For the next few days, he avoided any and all contact with Joachim, furious at the older man. His temper slowly began to simmer down over time, though. Joachim had saved his life. Twice, actually. Without Joachim, he wouldn't be anywhere.
Swallowing his pride, he went to Joachim and apologized a few days later. After that, at least for a little while, life went fairly well. Aleks and Joachim returned to living almost normally, save for the fact that now Aleksander was forced to drink from humans every couple of days. He really was no big fan of the entire 'drinking blood' thing, but was willing to do it to stay alive.
As the years passed, Joachim began educating Aleksander about the other vampires in the world. This did not happen a moment too soon, for shortly after Sander's 46th year of life, Joachim was murdered by slayers. Sacha was not sure if he felt grief or rage over this. He soon decided that the answer was both.
For the next few months, Sander was on the verge of complete insanity. He wandered the streets, slaughtering any slayers who he met, leaving a wake of blood and carnage. Only once he was almost killed multiple times did he realise this was not the right path in life. He quickly faded away into the shadows, disappearing from the world. From these shadows, he began to gather vampires together. Newborns, old ones, it didn't matter. He gathered them all together, and formed a group, a clan you might say, of vampires. This group's goal is to destroy the slayers, and he will literally stop at nothing to accomplish this goal.
