As children we were fed fantasies. We believed in worlds that did not and could not possibly exist. These worlds were forged from our imaginations, filled with creatures of both our individual creations and the creations of others. Unicorns, werewolves, fairies, vampires. They were all so real to us, so close to us, and yet they were only fabrications, lies.

Some people believe in life after death.

Many dare to think death is death and that is the end.

Others have faith in a heaven and a hell.

But nobody believes in the fairytails.

But they should for they are very, very real.

The year is 2012, mid-summer, New York City, and the crime rates have been jumping off the charts. Yet there has never been a crime that caught more attention than several cases five years ago of a series of attacks. While some may be interested in these serial killings, most are interested in the way that the victims died: they were completely drained of blood.

Some people believe it was a tactic for misconception.

Many dare to think it was a sick medical killing.

Others have faith in a sense of cannibalism.

But nobody believes it was a vampire.

But they should for they are very, very real.

Our story revolves around a special forensics team comprised of two prosecutors, a deputy, and an intern. The leader of the team is a level-headed young prosecutor made victim in one of the famous “vampire attacks”. He survived with one drawback – he was turned into a vampire. He struggles to come to grips as new vampire attacks come forth while juggling the emotions of his colleges.

Prosecutor/Leader/Vampire
He is the center of attention, the big dog, the leader. During his first years as a prosecutor he was chasing a suspect in the “vampire attacks” when he himself was assaulted. Though he survived, he was turned into a vampire. He can quench his thirst for blood because of a friend, an ex-doctor (see more below). While generally viewed as cold and indifferent, he is actually charming and exceptionally kind-hearted. His best friend is the deputy and he gets along nicely with the intern, but the prosecutor presents him a problem. Though they do have a comfortable relationship, there are two things that bother him: one is his growing attraction to her, and two, her blood is very appealing to him. 29 years old. Probably one of the most misunderstood people you will meet; she is a fiery girl with a big heart. She has officially been a prosecutor for three years and accels at her job, though there are some worries from the higher-ups. In her first year as a prosecutor, her partner miscalculated and put her in a dangerous situation with a rape suspect. During the suspect’s attempt to rape her, he was brought down and she was saved. This experience has given her a hard outer shell which conceals a delicate woman. She is often picked on by the intern and is looked down upon by the deputy, but she continues to pretend that there is nothing wrong. She also has feelings for her fellow prosecutor. 26 years old. Martial Arts Student.
Deputy
If you are looking for the guy who is always smiling, he is your guy. His personality is that of a joker, someone who is never serious, however he is exceptional at his job. While few pay attention to him because they believe his skills are lacking, his years as a police officer have trained him well. Of the two people who know that the prosecutor is a vampire, he is one of them and would like it to stay that way. After the prosecutor’s attack, the deputy became much closer to him – their relationship is like that of brothers. He has the hots for the intern because of her body while looking down his nose at the female prosecutor because he believes her skills are lacking. 30 years old. Expert Weapon Wielder.
Intern
As expected from the youngest of the group, she is lacking in experience and judgment of suspects. However, her intellectual power is beyond average, which is why she was added to the special team. Unlike her female teammate, she is overly confident and isn’t afraid to step over the boundaries. She freely speaks her mind to let you know what she is thinking and has a bad history with tormenting her female colleagues. In the end, she is truly working to impress the lead prosecutor, who she finds mysterious because he isn’t attracted by her figure. While her relationship with the female prosecutor is cold, she often teases the deputy, who she finds desperate. 25 years old. No Offensive Abilities.

(for example, our vampire prosecutor often obtains blood samples from the autopsy and drinks them. in doing so, he can see the last moments of a person’s life through their eyes. however, this process forces him to feel the pain of the victim as they die)
•can see bits of the last moments of a person’s life though sight
(for example, our vampire prosecutor often takes short glimpses at the scene of the crime. by looking at the victim, he can see bits and pieces of their death. during this process his eyes turn ice blue and his fangs come out)
•have retractable fangs
•have enhanced senses
•can turn humans into vampires
(this process is extremely painful as a vampire’s bite is like being poisoned)
•heal at an alarming rate
•are immortal
•cannot give blood transfusions
(this will turn the blood recipient into a vampire)

(though our vampire prosecutor shows exceptional control over his thirst for blood, as seen by his toleration as the scenes of crimes and when visiting an autopsy, when he has not fed in around 35 hours his toleration becomes limited and he begins to become more aware of the pulses of those around him)
•when heavily wounded, their blood-lust rises
•sometimes drink the blood of the dead instead of that of the living
(for example, our vampire prosecutor obtains blood from a friend, an ex-doctor, who can swindle blood under the counter. this friend is the owner of a club named Club Blood. the prosecutor visits him regularly for blood and advice)
