Personality

Evan is "off his rocker", to put it nicely. He does, on rare occassions, get overcome with rage. Most people blame it on the fact his wife of thirty-seven years was killed by a Hypnocatrice. Some say he hasn't been right in the head since, even though the incident happened ten years ago. Other than these short, violent fits, he is a kind man with a love of teasing. He has a real aptitude for fishing, and can still do his job even though his eyesight is failing. He enjoys the company of youngsters, and loves telling them stories. One of his favorite things to do is play songs on a horn his grandmothergave him when he was a small child. It was his grandfather's hunting weapon. He can speak both Wyverian and Saurian, since he's had a long time to learn them.

Equipment

He carries dual swords and knows how to use them. Every morning before sunrise he practices, working hard to mantain the speed, if not the power he used to have.
As for the tools of his craft, he owns a small fishing boat, nets, and two fishing poles, in case anyone would like to join him.

History

When Evander was young, he very much wanted to be a hunter. He and his twin Akimon trained together, and were estatic when they gratuated and were given their first quest. Unfortunately, their mission was a disaster. Aki was killed, and Evan nearly followed him. As soon as he was well enough to walk, Evan resigned from the hunters and took up his father's business as fisherman. At first, he was frustrated at the dullness of the job, but it gradually grew on him until he learned to like it.
