Alex V.'s Story

Alex blushed, surprised by the sudden hug from Hailee. He tried to keep his cool but almost completely failed as he tried to refocus himself. He rubbed Hailee's back slowly trying to calm her as her tears ran over his many dart wounds. " It's okay I know what you're going through your going to be fine. I promise you if they even try to hurt you I will do all that I can to hurt them back. " He paused for a moment. " I might be able to get us all out of here maybe even some of the others. " he shuddered at the thought of freeing an Orc and it rampaging about killing them all.

" All I need you to do is to stay calm ,okay. If you can keep your cool , you won't go insane. If you don't go insane I'll have someone to talk to besides Delta and all she wants to talk about is death. " he laughed a bit then sighed knowing it was true. " Well just be calm okay. " he lifted her head off his shoulder for a moment " You have very pretty eyes you know that " he smiled again then realized they were extremely green now as he realized she had mood eyes a strange trait unique to the vampires. He snapped back into reality and wiped a dew tears from her face. " Just please stay calm its gonna be okay, I promise. "

Hailee clinged to Alex crying softly into him. She listened and slowly gradually stopped crying. She was still hugging him listening to his calm soft words of comfort. He promised her he would make sure she wouldn't get hurt as long as she didn't cry or go insane. She nodded softly at his agreements and words. Hailee relaxed her body at the nice, and very pleasant hand rubbing her back to calm her down.

When Alex mentioned that he'll have someone to actually have conversations with a small smile crept onto her face at the tiny joke. she giggled softly as he lifted her head off of him and held her face gently in front of him. He looked at her eyes and gave her a compliment on them. He even wiped her tears away for her. He was being very nice and sweet to her which she liked a lot. She didnt feel so alone anymore. She blushed giving him a big smile and her right eyes turned yellow and the other pink. The two emotions of happiness and love.

"ok I will Alex. Thank you. That made me feel so much better." she smiled and gave him a small kiss on the cheek in thanks. She sat back and looked at him.

As hailee kissed Alex she noticed him blush a bright red shade. She smiled shyly and looked up at him giggling quietly to herself. She watched him get up and walk away, trying to hide the adorable blush. Hailee loved it when people blushed, she thought that it was the cutest thing in the world when someone got shy or embarrassed after a kiss or anything that wasn't too harmful.

Hailee got up and ran around the enclosure. This got herself yet again more attention but not from spectators from a couple of scientists. They watched as she grew her wings and hovered over the ground back and forth and forth. She even scaled up and down the glass walls trying to find a way out. The whole time she was inspecting her new habitat she only thinking about one thing. And that one thing bothered her more than anything in the world. What had happened to her family? Were they still safe? Was what she had sacrificed for them enough to help ensure their safety for a long time? After all the huntsmen only needed another vampiress for their bounties. Once they had her tied up and locked up they left from her home leaving her family behind unharmed. Ever since then hailee has been scared of humans and their weapons and such. She will fight regular humans, but it was the scientists, zoo staff workers, and huntsmen that drove her to shaking in the corner and crying in fear.

Once she had grown tired of the running and flying around she slowly came to a stop near the door hatch. She decided that she didn't feel like leaning against the wall in fear that the humans from before would come back and start their abuse over again. She looked around the enclosure and didn't know where her bed or anywhere where she could sleep and she was a little worried if Alex or Delta would get mad at her for sleeping in their hammocks. She lay on the floor curled up on the ground. She hugged her legs and lay on her side.
