Eye Color: Lucille has light brown orbs with some copper tones
Height: 5'3
Weight: 110
Description: Lucille is a petite little thing, though she doesn't lack any sort of lady figure. Her naturally curly locks are usually tied up into a neat hair style and her light skin glows with youth. Lucille may not be the most exquisite looking woman of royalty, but she ferry eyes and personality have gotten her far.

Image

Image Image

Personality: Lucille is a little too wild for her own good. She prefers to have her hair down, to have bear feet, and most of all to do whatever she wants. She takes advantage that she's a princess and isn't afraid to flaunt herself about. Unlike the beautifully graceful Queen of Sevaviel, Lucille stomps to her own drum beat. This attitude has perhaps gotten her the least favor from her parents, and that slowly eats at Lucille, but she would rather have fun than be stuck in her older brother's position. Lucy is known for her promiscuity, from her clothing to her behavior. Lucille is fierce, with a spit fire that her mother couldn't train out of her. She works on impulse, which gets her into trouble more than anything. She fears few things, and does pretty much whatever she pleases. She is charming and sweet to those who deserve it and repulsive and sour with those who don't. She is curious and fearless, and that perhaps is the worst combination.

Emmaline shifted in her seat, slightly opening her eyes squinting as they adjusted to the bright light of the morning, she could see the Thirmos Castle in the distance getting closer and closer as they moved, she glanced out the window looking at one of the many guards who circled her carriage, her mother and sister traveled with her, while her ladies traveled in the carriage behind them, also heavily guarded.
”How much further?” Emmaline asked in a soft voice still half asleep, she hadn’t slept well, and wouldn’t have been surprised if she got less than three hours of sleep. “About half an hour Your Grace.” The Guard replied with a bow of his head, Emmaline nodded in return before turning back to face her Mother who looked like had just woken up herself.

It had been a few months since Emmaline had visited Thirmos and Luras, as her Fathers recent passing was still taking a toll on her Family, and on Emmaline herself, something she didn’t readily show or express, Luras and his family were aware of her Fathers passing and her recent ascension to her Fathers throne, she could almost hear the sympathy in their voices already, it caused a sick feeling to arise in her stomach, she had no wish to be consoled anymore, she had the sympathy of her whole Kingdom behind her, Emmaline also knew there was nothing she could do about it, it was a formality, a custom to console someone after the loss of a loved one.

Emmaline had spent the months she hadn’t seen Luras writing letters back and forth like they usually did, it gave her time to escape from everything she dealt with in the day, though when Emmaline was younger she hated the fact she had to marry such an immature boy, though as she grew older and both of them matured she became fonder of him and had grown fairly close to him, even though his childhood arrogance and mischief stayed with him, something she silently wondered would cause problems. She couldn’t wrap her head around the fact that this was the last time she would travel this road, as she was not returning to her Kingdom, she was to rule in Thirmos by Luras, and Rule Sevaviel by his side as well, while she relayed the orders her mother would enforce them in her absence, Emmaline wasn’t confident in it, but was reassured that many did it that way and would usually let the matter drop.

As they arrived Emmaline could see the crowds gathering on either side of the main path to greet her as they always did, she smiled seeing that the Royal family had already arrived as well standing at the top of the path fairly well guarded, precautions in case of any uprisings in the crowd, it was something Emmaline was familiar with. As soon as the carriage door opened a hand was extended to help Emmaline out, she had to remind herself that as Queen she was to exit first, she was so accustom to her mother leaving first that every time she traveled anywhere she had to remind herself, she tried to avoid looking at the dress her mother was wearing as it was black, the color of morning and it made Emmaline’s throat tighten, just another reminder her Father wasn’t there, wasn’t with her.

Emmaline waited for her ladies to come to her side before starting to move up the path, another thing she was getting used to was how everyone followed her, no one was to walk before her, but either beside her or behind her, she enjoyed having her friends walk beside her instead of behind her, but instead, her Mother walked on one side and her sister on the other, something she didn’t mind at all.
She smiled coming to a stop in front of the DeNoyen’s. She lowered her head slightly as a sign of respect to the King and Queen lifting hers when they did the same, the formalities were so different from when she was a Princess, she would normally curtsy before a King and Queen, but now they were equal it was no longer required. ”King Cyprian, Queen Anne, Prince Luras, Price Lucas, Princess Lucille it is a pleasure to be back at your Court, my family and I would like to thank you for yours and your families hospitality.” Emmaline took a breath looking at Luras who seemed as posed as ever, she looked over to her sister.”May I introduce my sister, Princess Madeline.” Emmaline gestured to her little sister with a small smile. ”And my Mother, Alessandra, Queen Regent of Sevaviel, who you have already been acquainted with.” Emmaline held her hands tightly in front of her body keeping her posture correct, this part was always tedious, a part she always wished to get over and done with.

"Rhin! Oh, they're almost here. I have to go meet Emma and her mother. They'll be-" Before her beloved ran off, she gently grabbed his arm. "Dearest Rassie," Rhinder heard him cringe as she spoke the nickname, "we really must stop meeting like this. But, aye, off you go." he nodded swiftly, and she caught his gaze one last time. "Midnight in two days' time. Make sure Emma doesn't follow you. If you don't show up, I'll assume you dead and run off to join pirates!" He laughed as he himself ran off, the wind gently tousling his hair.

He reached the secret glade where his horse still grazed. It had only been half an hour this time, but Lucas could still feel the tingling from their secretive kisses. Far too little time for such a gorgeous maiden, he always told her. Mounting his golden battlesteed, he set off at a gallop towards home. The carriage was surely not too far off. Luras knew he would make it in time, he always did, but he needed at least a few minutes to make himself not only presentable, but unsuspicious. He could only use the hunting excuse so many times.

He entered the courtyard swinging off of his horse. He'd done it so many times as a boy it was no longer dangerous at all. Handing the soft, yet worn, black leather reins to the stableboy, he strode into the castle in a manner that befit a king. His aura a few feet in front of him, he walked unchallenged down the wide hallways decked with tapestries and banners. The carpets muffled his footsteps, the same footsteps that, minutes ago, had been commuting an act unthinkable for a king. However, Luras loved the unthinkable.

He closed the door to his chambers, locking it and throwing off his muddy tunic. He changed quickly into a more regal outfit, clean of course... Unlike the ripped and stained shirt now lying on the floor. Frowning, Luras gathered them and placed them in their respective areas- trash, laundering, and closet. He was about to go greet the girls when a breeze from his open window sent a piece of parchment fluttering to the floor. He picked it up, reading his own messy scrawl. An unfinished letter to Emmaline. He gingerly set it on top of the reports, sighing. Both of the girls he loved were amazing, in their respective ways. Rhin understood the ways of an unruly prince, living the struggle right in his kingdom, and Emmaline had such grace and poise.

Shrugging off the thought, he darted downstairs and out into the courtyard. As usual, he was the last there, taking his place up front with the Queen and King. His siblings stood behind, and he thought Lucille might have shot Lucas an annoyed look. Luras felt the most unfit for the throne, between he and his brother. While he wanted to have fun and romp in the woods, Lucas seemed more suited for the strategy and cunning of a warlike king.

He saw the carriage rounding the bend. Immediately, his posture straightened, his face widened in a fake kingly smile, and his mask of regality descended of the wild prince of moments before. Emmaline and the Royal Consort were sure to be here, and maybe some other noble. While writing letters had kept them together in the dark months, nothing compared Luras to the experience of courting the now Queen. It was daunting, and one wrong move could send him into the pits of hell from his disappointed parents.

”King Cyprian, Queen Anne, Prince Luras, Price Lucas, Princess Lucille it is a pleasure to be back at your Court, my family and I would like to thank you for yours and your families hospitality. May I introduce my sister, Princess Madeline... And my Mother, Alessandra, Queen Regent of Sevaviel, who you have already been acquainted with.”

Luras bowed, his regal smile hurting his cheeks. He remembered that her father had died, leaving her the sole ruler of their kingdom. She did look nice in black, though... A thought Luras prodded himself mentally for. He could never stand the horrible introductions. He always did get terribly distracted. "A pleasure, Princess Madeline. Wonderful to see you all again, though I could never imagine the grief you must feel at the Kings passing. My deepest condolences to the family and grieving country of Sevaviel. " These condolences always felt so fake. He knew that whatever silver-tongued method you used, no word could effectively heal the wound inside.

Leading the Brasilles into the grand castle after all of the chatter had died, he led the whole parade to the company room, as he called it. Seating himself on his favorite white chair, he waited for everyone to become comfortable. Putting in an order for tea, cookies, and biscuits, Luras tried to keep his poise. Today, he felt especially restless. Was it because of Rhin? He did wish they didn't have to keep their relationship quiet. So much went into o making sure no one found out. After three years, they seemed to know all of the tips and tricks. But now Emmaline was back, and Luras got to walk on broken eggshells around her mother.

This was going to be torturous.

Alessandra opened slowly opened her eyes letting them adjust to the morning light, seeing that Emmaline was already awake she frowned, she knew full well her daughter hadn’t slept well, she hadn’t been sleeping well since her Father passed and it was starting to show.
“How much further?” She heard Emmaline ask the guard and she slightly shook her head. ”Patience Emmaline.” Alessandra reminded, but not in a scolding way like she used to when the girls were younger and more stubborn in more of a sweet motherly tone, with a smidge of ‘not debatable’ in there, she was being extra gentle with both her daughters since their Father's passing not wanting to upset them anymore.

As they proceeded to go and greet the DeNoyen’s, Alessandra watched Emmaline’s movements precisely to make sure she didn’t make any mistakes with how she held herself or acted, she kept a close eye on Madeline as well as appearances were everything as they were all readily taught at a young age, you have to appear confident and powerful even if you are not.

“King Cyprian, Queen Anne, Prince Luras, Price Lucas, Princess Lucille it is a pleasure to be back at your Court, my family and I would like to thank you for yours and your families hospitality.” Alessandra waited patiently for her daughter to continue.
“May I introduce my sister, Princess Madeline, and my Mother, Queen Regent of Sevaviel, who you have already been acquainted with.”

Alessandra smiled softly at the family. ”It is a pleasure to be back in Thirmos.”

"A pleasure, Princess Madeline. Wonderful to see you all again, though I could never imagine the grief you must feel at the Kings passing. My deepest condolences to the family and grieving country of Sevaviel. "

Alessandra almost flinched herself when Luras gave his condolences about their deceased King, the thing she knew Emmaline was dreading, seeing her take a deep breath she took gently brushed her daughters hand with her own in a reassuring manner but so it wouldn’t be noticeable. Alessandra was thankful when they entered the castle and were offered tea, she smiled and thanked the servant who served her before going about drinking said tea and watching the events unfold.

"A pleasure, Princess Madeline. Wonderful to see you all again, though I could never imagine the grief you must feel at the Kings passing. My deepest condolences to the family and grieving country of Sevaviel. "

Emmaline wanted to cringe hearing the condolences from Luras, but knew he was only following protocol, it still made her feel sick to the stomach, she wanted to say there was no need for anymore sympathy, but decided as she knew Luras was doing that she also didn’t want to face the wrath of her mother and potentially the wrath of his parents, as she had witnessed it once before and had been careful ever since.

Taking a breath before she spoke to stop herself from crying which she knew she was close to, Emmaline mustered the best little smile she could. ”Thank you for your condolences” Was all Emmaline could manage to say, she silently wondered if she should have said more as Luras lead them into the castle.

Emmaline knew exactly where they were and where they were going, Luras called it the company room, which always made Emmaline laugh, but they would always sit in there and catch up whenever Emmaline would visit. She took up her usual seat beside Luras watching as the servants began working at Luras’ order for tea and cookies, though if Emmaline was being honest she wasn’t really in the mood for tea or cookies, she smoothed the fabric of her black gown, a nervous habit of hers, to stop herself from doing it again she held her hands firmly in her lap.

“Your Grace?” The servant asked for what must have been the fifth time. Emmaline looked at her. ”Yes? I’m sorry my mind was elsewhere.” Emmaline apologized with another smile this time very forced. The servant nodded understandingly and asked again. ”Would you like tea, Your Grace?” Emmaline debated whether to have it or not, deciding she didn’t want to raise eyebrows and get asked questions later on she took the Tea with a please and thank you but avoided eating anything to prevent herself from being sick later, another occurrence that seemed to be becoming normal since her Father's passing.

Emmaline turned slightly in her seat so that she could look at Luras, he looked the same, a little older perhaps, but the same rather boyish mess for hair and blue eyes. ”How have you been Luras?” Emmaline asked softly, low enough that only he would hear her; the smile on her face as she spoke to him a rather genuine one. Luras usually kept her up to date in his letters but she always enjoyed talking to him face to face more than writing letters.

Emmaline also thought that she wasn't able to express in a letter how stressed she had become with being tossed onto the throne without a lot of notice, she didn't think she was ready but she couldn't admit that to anyone, she wasn't even technically of age, she had just turned seventeen. She also knew she couldn't express in a letter how much pain she was in due to her Fathers passing, and she knew if anyone would see through the ever faltering mask that she was perfectly fine and handling her Fathers death well it would be Luras, he seemed to have learned all of her tricks and excuses over the years.

Though she tended to be happiest around Luras, the only person she was genuinely herself in front of was him, she trusted him, and over the years had truly fallen for him, something she knew was a rare occurrence with arranged marriages, but she hoped he had fallen for her as well. Emmaline still knew there was a chance for a Mistress, Luras was strikingly handsome, but Emmaline liked to believe he wasn't like that. Despite their engagement though, girls still flirted with him a few times in Emmaline's presence, she laughed after saying that they weren't as discreet as they thought they were being, while Luras was free to have a mistress if he chose to Emmaline was bound to him for life as soon as they were married, she didn't want anyone else anyways, nor would she take that chance, it could cost her the ultimate price, her life.

Emmaline shifted slightly pushing the thought away, they were going to be happy, she told herself like she did all the time to keep her hopes up that they would be.

Zxander slowly approached Queen Emmaline, with a respectful bow, and quietly, "Pardon your grace. I'm going to mingle to get a better feel of the room. I'm leaving Wymond to keep an eye on you. I'll be right back your grace." With that he stood up as he took a step backward, did an about face, took two steps and walked away. He walked around checking in on all the people who traveled here with him and a few of the quest. As he looked to the head table to double check on the queen he saw princess Lucille yawn. Seeing a princess yawn at such an important and formal gathering... he couldn't help but let a small smile come across his face as he watched her for a moment. With a slight shake of his head the smile disappeared as his normal straight face returns. He then continued to walk the room every now and again looking up at his queen then over at the princess. "Um, maybe they aren't all bad. A princess who isn't afraid to yawn. Just wish there was a way for me to meet her. If nothing else I want to know more of this family and she doesn't seem to... fit the norm... And on top of the yawn she seemed more interested in me on the way in then anyone else... why? I'm just a guard, a royal guard but a guard none the less." He thought about this as he walked behind the head table back towards his post, this time he took the long way behind the DeNoyen family.

Madline couldn't believe it. She didn't quite understand what exactly was happening with her older sister, but she was happy for her nonetheless as any sister should.

Dressed in all black, Madeline couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness as it was just her, Emmaline, and their mother riding. Father usually sat next to Madeline in the carriage, and Emmaline with Mother. But now, Madeline was all alone on her side. It wasn't such a big deal, if her Father was on a far trip off to a kingdom. But he wasn't, and she couldn't help the tears that fell out of her eyes secretly in the carriage.

When they got closer, and closer to the castle of this unknown kingdom to Madeline, she smiled at the gathering of such large crowds. In the carriage, it was little tight, with her and her sister packed in it, but it seemed roomy enough for both of the girls to be comfortable in it. Madeline was walking next to her sister, after the safely exited the carriage, and she was caught daydreaming.

”May I introduce my sister, Princess Madeline.”

"Hm?" Madeline quickly turned around, facing the royals before herself and her Queen sister. "I bid you ado." She smiled at them all, before returning to a proper stance, her eyes somewhat big from the scare.

Everyone seemed to be hurting of her Father's death, she guessed. She stood next to her mother silently, after Emmaline went off with Luras. She felt a pang in her heart.

Her sister was basically being taken from her right in front of her eyes. Emmaline was so good, so beautiful, so.. everything. She felt as if her mother were doing her a favor just by having Madeline to make Emmaline seem more... everything she was. Madeline often wondered if perhaps a peasant had switched her and the actual royal baby when she was born.

She didn't understand the Royal life at all. For, she wanted to find true love, not settle for someone like Luras, no matter how beautiful she is, or handsome he is. She wanted to truly be able to say that she did love them.

Something like that, though, would have consequences, and Madeline knew of this. She'd rather feel complete, and utter heartbreak, than nothing at all if something did happen to her King, her peasant worker, her husband, her love.

The morning had been spent with Queen Anne herself making sure the servants did all of their duties to the highest of standards as they were having special company on this fine day. The Future of Thirmos itself, that is.

As the Royal family of Brasille arrived, they were a member short, resulting of the King's recent death. Anne smiled warmly as she saw the carriage arrive. Emmaline seemed of good nature as she strode up to the DeNoyen's, and Anne made a mental note of that.

“King Cyprian, Queen Anne, Prince Luras, Price Lucas, Princess Lucille it is a pleasure to be back at your Court, my family and I would like to thank you for yours and your families hospitality. May I introduce my sister, Princess Madeline, and my Mother, Queen Regent of Sevaviel, who you have already been acquainted with.” Anne replied with a bow to the head.

Anne smiled gratefully at the Queen Regent. ”It is a pleasure to be back in Thirmos.”

Ah, yes. Her Luras was a handsome boy. Such good manners too. She did well with him, she hoped. "A pleasure, Princess Madeline. Wonderful to see you all again, though I could never imagine the grief you must feel at the Kings passing. My deepest condolences to the family and grieving country of Sevaviel. "

She turned, seeing Lucille excuse herself. She frowned as she would need to speak with her daughter about her hasty exit in a later time. As Luras and Emmaline seemed to disappear, she wondered what her husband, the King Cyprian, would be off doing at the moment. She swore she just saw him with her, greeting the Brasilles. Anne pushed him to the back of her mind, as she looked towards Madeline, was it? and her mother, Alessandra.

"Do tell me, Alessandra, you did have a lovely ride over here, did you not? I believe the day is fine indeed. " She smiled, properly. Her posture was straight, her arms pointed down, as her hands met, and she turned her head to the side only slightly, watching her guests eagerly.

Alessandra smiled softly at Anne keeping an eye on the events playing out around about them. "It was a lovely ride, long, but its always I ride I enjoy." It was true, Alessandra always enjoyed the ride over, the country side of both of their countries was absolutely beautiful making the journey a wonder to behold, though it was often long and hard on the body, the only downside to an otherwise beautiful trip. Both of her children, or at least one of them had got a decent amount of sleep which she felt would help with Madeline's mood.

It was rare for Emmaline to be sour or snappy, Alessandra couldn't even remember the last time Emmaline had a "Bad day" for temperament as Emmaline was a very laid back and calm person even when she was younger. It didn't matter how horrible she felt Emmaline always seemed to push through, Alessandra was always so proud of her, she had done well with Emmaline, but it helped that the girl herself had a good personality and a a wonderful temperament, neither her nor her husband could take any credit for Emmaline's behavior and personality, while some of herself showed in Emmaline, Alessandra, otherwise, could never place where Emmaline happened to get her personality from, her current theory was that Emmaline was truly a gift from the gods, as all children were, but Emmaline had a bit of something else in her from them. "And your day, I trust it has been fine as of far?" Alessandra asked pulling her mind away from its thoughts.

The journey to Thirmos had been a long and arduous one, to say the least. And she had been given the choice whether to come or not. Honestly, when given the offer to stay in Sevaviel, Sidonie had laughed aloud. Her? Stay? When had she ever given up the opportunity to travel? Plus, like Sidonie would ever leave Emmaline to face the royal family of Thirmos and her fiancé alone. Not that the queen couldn't handle it. Emmaline was tougher than most. But still, Sidonie was certain her presence would be appreciated, especially considering her excellent wing-woman skills. Well, she called them excellent. Others, including Emmaline, might disagree, but that hardly mattered.

Hm. Maybe her main reason for visiting was her desire for a bit of travelling? Possibly.

Sidonie stood further back, next to Eliza, watching the regal and collected greetings exchanged by the two royal families. They really were good at being... royal. Sidonie watched Emmaline with undisguised amazement. Emma was always quite proper, even when it was just them alone, but when in situations such as these... she really was a queen worthy of ruling Sevaviel.

When the prince brought up the king, Sidonie winced, her eyes glancing to Emma with nervous concern. But, as expected, Emma held up just fine, as calm and collected as always. Sid turned her attention to the prince, eyes narrowed slightly as she examined him head to toe. She had never spoken to him one-on-one, but was well aware that Em was quite fond of him. Hm. Handsome? Check. Polite? Check. Intelligent? Check. Kind? ... Sidonie would have to investigate further. There was no chance she was letting her best friend marry a jerk. Screw the law.

After the initial greetings and introductions, the royal families separated, beginning to mingle and chat. Sid stood back a moment, debating whether or not to approach Emmaline. Hm. No. She was talking to her fiancé, best not to interrupt. Yet.
She sighed, drumming the fingers of her left hand against the backs of her right's fingers, impatient and eager to get moving. Talking. Exploring. Something.

Hm. Best not to make a fuss, though. If these royals were anything like her parents, sticking out was a definite no-no if she wanted to get into their good books.

Zxnader retook his post behind Queen Emmaline, as he did he saw princess Lucille get up and leave. Seeing this as yet an other abnormal behavior he motioned with his head for Ratimir to follow her. Whether this behavior was just a rebellious act from a young princess who didn't want to be here or something more, he had to know.

Ratimir nodded back and made his way slowly to the door the princess left through. On the other side he caught a glimpse of her rounding a corner with her hair down. He carefully approached the corner, as he slowly rounded it he saw her enter a room followed soon after by a knight who had his back to him. Ratimir quietly neared the room and posted a little ways away but close enough to hear what was going on. "What is this knight doing with the princess when she should still be with her family? And why did she leave? More importantly why is Zxander so concered and why send me and not Dalibor or Bogdan?" He thought as he listened to the knight ask if the princess had a problem with the new Queen.

As Zxander watched the room his mind drifted a little, he could picture his sister here. She would have loved it and not being a guard and braver then him, probably would have chatted up everyone including the two royal families. Granted she was friends with queen Emmaline, her mother and sisters. She probably also would have been bugging him and trying to set him up with every girl in the room, and jokingly some of the guys to. This made him reflect on his feeling for those around him, Wymond was the closest thing to a brother he has besides Dalibor. (OOC: I apologize for not posting for so long, we had a bit of a family emergency and my family had to fly out to England, I am back now though and apologize for the inconvenience)

Emmaline smiled slightly when the suggestion was made to go to the gardens though it consequently made her conversation with Luras short. The rules were strict when it came to courting and even more so if you were of Royal blood, you were aloud to be seen in public together but any type of intimacy was to be kept behind closed doors until the couple was married.

Emmaline sighed seeing Madeline with the King looking rather disappointed, she often felt sorry for her sister, no one paid much attention to her if any at all, it was more like she was Emmaline’s shadow than a person. “Zxander.” Emmaline spoke softly to the head of the guard catching his attention. “I don’t want any chances taken, my ladies and my family are to be guarded at all times, no exceptions.” Emmaline ordered before returning to Luras’ side. She smiled softly at him before looking over at Sid who hadn’t said very much.

“Are you enjoying yourself so far Sidonie?” Emmaline asked, Sidonie had always been more like a sister to Emmaline than her own sister, something Emmaline regretted deeply, but Madeline seemed to avoid Emmaline when she could which made it very hard for her to spend the limited free time she had with her sister, her ladies however were always around her, always there.

Emmaline sighed seeing how her Mother and the Queen were walking ahead talking to each other, Emmaline recalled how they never used to get along very well, but Luras’ Mother had always been Gentle with Emmaline, more gentle than her own mother had been with her and it was often something Emmaline was grateful for as sometimes everyone needed a gentle understanding touch. She looked at Luras, she couldn’t believe soon she would be walking side by side with him as his Wife, it was a thought that scared her.
