Personality

Markus is a bit more reserved than his father, a result of his sheltered life within the forge. He had little human contact, as his hours were filled with the clanging of metal-on-metal and the heat of a roaring fire. From what social life he has led, Markus has come off as the stereotypical, “Strong, silent type”.

Equipment

Markus has not earned a hammer of his own yet, so he is not so attached to one as his father is. However, he does carry around all of the implements of a smith in an apron, as Marlan does. But, being the young man he is, Markus has taken a fancy to wearing a sword about his hip. Marlan is not sure if he does it to show off his prowess as a weaponsmith, or simply to seem like a warrior.

History

There isn’t much history to relate about Markus. As a small baby, he and his father arrived at the city gates one frosty, snowy winter’s eve, and has been in Castor ever since. Markus has bee cooped up in his father’s forge for almost his entire life, never really being able to explore the city beyond. Granted, he’s snuck out a few nights and explored on his own, but not too far. He is curious of the outside world, and would give anything to see it.
