A stubborn, upper-class noblewoman with an affinity for holy magic. Her great wealth has given her significant influence in the city of Feign.
Though she looks like the cute old granny type, Sylvia is quite the opposite. She's stubborn as a mule, and not one to take orders or be a "team player". She does, however, have a softer side, but it's rarely seen. She's very serious and not easy to amuse.
She wears large, extravagant dresses, white gloves, and of course her small circular glasses at all times. She currently does not own a staff of her own as she hasn't used magic in the past decade.
Growing up rich and with the best of teachers of whatever she cared to learn, she is very intelligent and extremely well-educated in holy magic; her skill rivals that of some of the most powerful confessors. However, she is not and never has been enlisted in Castor's military force and hasn't cast a spell in a little over a decade. Though she is out of practice, her skill and memory of the art remain intact.
With her vast wealth, Sylvia as gained a significant amount of political influence. She is usually "in the know" in regards to what is going on in her city and has various acquaintances within the castle to whom she can go to for information.
She was one of the few who refused to leave their homes as Feign fell to the Locust, and was teleported out of the city by Judas.
