All too soon lunch was over and Scarlet was having to leave Steven. The only plus side to any of this was that she would get to spend some alone time with him tonight and hopefully get to kiss him again. She left with Andy so as Steven could get some work done and upon arriving home she began to do some housework which had been neglected over the past few days and before she knew it, it was time to get ready to go out.

When she got his text she was a little surprised by the idea of dressing for an outdoor date. Scarlet had been expecting a romantic dinner at one of the nicer places in town followed up with maybe a walk through the small park in the centre of town. However an outdoor date didn't sound like this at all. However she didn't question it and got dressed into a pair of dark jeans along with a tight, white, long sleeved shirt that would hopefully keep her warm tonight since it didn't appear to be too cold outside. She had just finished doing her hair when sh eheard his car pulling into the driveway.

Scarlet had explained to Andy earlier the plans for tonight and he had been fine with it. He didn't care where his mother went as long as she was out of the house by the time that Rachel got there since he had big plans involving ordering pizza and then watching a typical scary movie just so he could get close to her. He was after all a teenage boy and was hoping for just a little action tonight.

Andy opened the door and helped to rush the pair out. Scarlet said she was ready and blushed slightly when he commented on how she looked. He would never know the amount of time it had taken her to decide what to wear or how to do her hair. "Yeah Im ready" Scarlet said as she told Andy to behave and that she would be back before midnight if Rachel needed a lift home. She then headed out ot Steven's car and allowed him to drive her to the surprise date location.

To say that she was surprised when they pulled into the parking lot was an understatement. She hadn't been back to this school since the day she graduated and it brought back a lot of memories which had her lost in thought for a moment or two. When Steven opened her door for her she smiled at him but Scarlet was a little taken back when he suggested that they go somewhere else. "No way... this is perfect" She said with a grin. "It's us" Scarlet said before leaning in and pressing her lips against his but only softly. This was so much better than a romantic resturant because it was about the two of them and their past which was very qucikly becoming their future.

He was taken aback when she got out and pressed her lips to his and wrapped his arms around her, pinning her to the side of the car, kissing her more. He ran his hand up her side and under her shirt a little bit as he kissed her, then moved to her neck kissing softly, and biting playfully, just like when they were back in high school. It was like he was 17 again and had to wait all week to see Scarlet. He slowly pulled away and looked at her, "I'm glad you like it." He laughed a little closing the door to the car and holding his hand out for her to take.

They walked to the football field and Steven paid the money for them to get in. They headed to the snack bar and got some pizza and candy and headed to find a seat. They sat in the bleachers and Steven looked over at her, just grinning from ear to ear. He wasn't sure how it happened but it was a miracle that Scarlet was back in his life and they seemed to be starting their lived right where they belonged. He bit into his pizza and smiled, "Who'd have thought we'd been here?" He asked her. "Really.. I almost can't believe it." He added.

"I've come to a couple games, but it was just weird. You know... not being out there or hearing someone cheer for me." He teased her slightly.

The kiss was intense and Scarlet felt herself weakening a little at the knees as he touched her side. Her back arched back against the metal of the car and it felt like she was back in high school again when they would take any and all chances to be intimate with one another. If Steven had continued right there, Scarlet wouldn't have said no. It had been far too long since she had been with a man and especially one which cared about her the way Steven did. He broke the kiss however and she found herself breathing heavily when his lips touched her neck the same way he knew she used to love.

Slowly though they pulled apart and she took his hand while they walked into the ground and got themselves organised with food, drinks and tickets. She sat close to him on the bleachers and listened as he spoke about not believing that they were here. Scarlet felt the exact same way. It was weird but comforting at the same time.

"I used to love watching you play" Scarlet admitted before laughing softly. "I never did understand the game but I did love watching you run around the feild in those shorts" She said as she smiled at him. They had been THE couple at school, the one everyone had wanted to be. The boys wanted to be with Scarlet and the girls dreamed of being with Steven. A lot had changed since then but Scarlet knew that she still wanted to be with him just as much, if not mroe than then.

He laughed at the comment about his shorts and shook his head, "You were probably the only one who thought I looked good in them." He bumped her shoulder with his and finished up his pizza relaxing and watching the game cheering for the team etc. He wrapped his arm around Scarlet's shoulder and held her relaxing and just enjoying his night with Scarlet. They were almost like a high school couple, kissing every few minutes and being flirty and giggly.

After the game ended they headed back to Steven's car. He pressed her against the car again and whispered, "We should have snuck under the bleachers." He joked leaning in and kissing her neck against softly, biting it, then kissing up to her lips before passionately kissing her, his hands wandering again, rubbing her back under her shirt, letting his hands wander to the front of her shirt. People walked by to their cars but he ignored them completely, not caring about anything but Scarlet at the time.

Finally stopping himself and he said, "What do you think about calling and making sure Rachel doesn't need a ride? And then spending the night at my place?" He asked softly, breathing heavily.

Scarlet had a great time with Steven watching the football. She didn't even look around at the people who were seated around them but instead had eyes only for the game and for Steven. It was almost as if they were in their own little world and nothing else could touch them. What surprised her the most was how much she could relax around him, something which Scarlet hadn't been able to do in a long time with all the trouble with Andy and Tony. All too soon though the game came to an end and they began heading back to the car.

As they reached the car Scarlet found her body once more pressed up against the cold metal and Steven's lips and hands roaming her body while her's did the same to him. She ignored the people looking at them and enjoying the moment. Sure they had kissed during the game but not like this. Finally though Steven pulled away and she found herself frowning in protest. Scarlet hadn't finished kissing him but his question brought about the possibility of more than kissing.

"Mmmm...." Scarlet moaned as she thought about what he was asking. She wasn't one hundred percent sure about leaving Andy and Rachel at home by themselves all night long because god only knows what they would get up to. Then again she remembered what it was like to be a teenager and if they wanted to do it then they would find anywhere and in small amounts of time to make that happen if they really wanted to. At least Andy might look like a gentleman and it wouldn't involve the back of a car (something which Scarlet had been considering only moments ago when Steven had been kissing her). Andy had to grow up at some stage and she also had to learn to trust him... also Steven's kisses were just to tempting to say not to, not to mention Scarlet could vividly remember what it had been like to be with him.

"Alright, I will call him and see if it is okay" She said with a grin as she lent in and kissed him gently before pulling her lips away from his. "As long as you are sure about this..." Scarlet whispered as she looked into his eyes. She wouldn't blame him for wanting to take things slow between them after the way she left last time.

Steven had really thought this through and thought about if he was prepared for something to happen like it did last time. He had seriously asked himself if he could handle it and even wrote down a plan for if it did happen so that he didn't slip into depression like he had when he was younger. He was much more together by now, he owned his own home and business and knew what he was doing with his life, though, he really didn't see that happening. He didn't see Scarlet doing that to him twice and knew that she had missed him just as much as he'd missed her.

Of course things were a little different now. They each had their history and Scarlet's came with a big piece...Andy. Steven had thought about that too. He was fully prepared to step up in every aspect of Scarlet's life and that included dealing with Andy. But, he seemed to be doing alright so far.

"I am completely positive." He said and leaned in kissing her again, hard biting her lip as they made out against the car, his hands exploring her entire body. "Mmmm.. Did he say yes yet?" He asked teasingly between kissing and biting on her neck. "I can't wait to spend the night with you." He grinned looking into her eyes.

He went around to the other side of the car getting in and starting it up so that they could head home after Scarlet called to Andy.

When Steven said he was compeltely positive about what they were doing Scarlet grinned. She really hadn't wanted him to change his mind but she did feel like she needed to give him the option. She kissed him back and instantly felt the kiss deepening and once more they were making out against his car. Scarlet really did feel like a teenager with little control over her emotions and what she was feeling towards him.

"Mmm... Not yet" Scarlet laughed as he bit her neck. It had been impossible for her to have called her son while she was making out with Steven and he knew that. "I cant wait either but let me call Andy and check and see if everything is okay first and then you can take me back to your place" She winked at him as she watched him walk around to the other side of the car and got in. Scarlet got in the car so that they would be able to arrive quicker. She put her seatbelt on before taking out her phone and dialing the home phone.

It took awhile before Andy answered the phone and he sounded a little breathless. Scarlet tried to ignore this fact and not think about what they were doing there in her house but upon asking if he was okay and if Rachel was okay to stay the night she got positive responses to both. Andy finished up talking to his mum by saying thankyou, the two words making Scarlet smile as she said goodnight to her son. Hanging up she turned to look at Steven.

"Soo... it looks like I have permission to stay out all night" Scarlet teased.

Steven laughed when she said that she had permission to stay out all night and slid his hand off of the steering wheel and over to rest on her leg gently. "Scarlet... don't feel like we have to do anything either. I Just want you to myself, without any interruptions." He said not wanting any pressure between the two of them and especially not wanting her to have any regrets about what they may do alone at his place.

Steven drove to his house and parked in the driveway getting out and going around to open her door. He held his hand out for her, "Madam..." He joked closing the door behind her when she got out. They walked inside and he turned the light on. "So.." He said actually getting a little nervous himself. He hadn't done this in a while, and especially not with anyone as important as Scarlet. He worried. He was older, he might not be what Scarlet wants anymore.

He looked at her sliding his hands in his jeans pockets rocking on his feet a little, "What now?" He teased some more.

"I want too..." Scarlet whispered back to him with a smile, resting her hand on top of his as he placed it on her leg. It had taken her a moment to get used to the idea of what they were planning to do but the more she thought about it the more she wanted it. Scarlet loved Steven and always had. People might have said that they were jumping in too quickly but the connection was still there and Steven had done more for her in these past few weeks than Tony had ever done for her, especially when it came to Andy. He was the one she was always meant to be with.

It was only a short drive to Steven's house since it really was a small town, one of which both of them happened to live in the centre of. When they arrived and he opened her door for her she laughed before thanking him with a grin before they headed inside. Scarlet found herself blushing as they came to be standing in his hallway and he teased her a little. "Umm..." She said as she looked over at him and noticed that he seemed just as nervous about this as she was. This made her feel a little less nervous but still... It had been a long time since Steven had seen her without her clothes on and she certainly had changed. Her body was still slender but carrying a baby for nine months had certainly had an impact. The nerves didn't seem to be going away as she stood there looking at him. "Maybe we could just sit on the couch or something and take it from there?" Scarlet suggested. It seemed like a safe and comfortable place to start and hopefully might make them both feel a little bit more comfortable.

As he nodded his head Scarlet smiled briefly and walked into the living room with him and sat down on the couch. As Steven joined her, Scarlet lent in and let her lips meet his softly. It was only a small soft kiss but it was an attempt to break the ice.

Steven instantly felt more comfortable and wrapped his arms around Scarlet, continuing to kiss her, until they were full on making out again, feeling on each other and getting heated. Steven felt better now and pulled his sweater off, followed by Scarlet's top. They continued until they were completely full on making out, butt naked on his couch. "Let's go upstairs." He said getting up and carrying her to his bedroom, tossing her playfully on the bed.

They made love and it was just as amazing as Steven had remembered. He had never felt like that with any other woman and it was as if each touch from her sent shock waves through his body. As they finished they lay side by side with Steven breathing heavily and covered in sweat. He turned to her and whispered softly, "You're so beautiful. I love you Scarlet." And kissed her again. "Come take a shower with me." He grinned.

They showered together, making out and unable to stop touching each other like they were in high school again, and finally ended up in bed late, wrapped in each others arms. Nothing felt better to Steven and he didn't want the night to end. He couldn't believe how suddenly things had changed for himself and that Scarlet was back in his life. He couldn't imagine anything better.

The next morning he woke up to his phone going off on the night stand and rolled over answering. To his surprise it was Andy, "Hey Steven, Is my mom awake yet? Her phone's off." Steven took a minute and rubbed the sleep out of his face and said, "No bud, she's still sleeping. Something wrong or can she sleep in?" Andy said that nothing was wrong, they just had a thing to check in whenever the other was away, since he was little. Steven smiled a little bit, that sounded like something Scarlet would implement.

Steven looked over at Scarlet and wasn't ready to give her back, "You and Rachel go get lunch at the restaurant and take her out somewhere. I'll give you some money when I see you later for dinner." He said. Andy readily agreed and they hung up. Steven rolled back over curling up with Scarlet. When she stirred he said, "Andy and Rachel are going for lunch and out, let's spend the day in bed."

Last night had been amazing and Scarlet could still feel the dull aches through her body from last nights activities. However Scarlet simply groaned as she heard the phone ringing early in the morning. Instead of reaching to answer it she instead rolled over and almost wrapped all of the blanket over her head in an attempt to go back to sleep. It was working until she felt Steven's body once more against hers and she grinned with her eyes closed. "All day in bed? And what exactly are we going to be doing to keep ourselves entertained?" Scarlet said in a voice that showed all too well that she knew exactly what the two of them were going to be up to. Rolling over she kissed him deeply as they soon began to repeat last nights events over and over again all day and into the evening.

Things between the two of them were great. Scarlet began to spend every second night at Steven's house and every other night Steven was at her place. Andy didn't seem to mind at all and in fact his relationship with his mother had never been better. It seemed that both of them were doing well with a little bit of space from each other and independance. Not to mention Andy was loving work and spending time with Rachel and even school was beginning to get a little better.

Scarlet had really been enjoying the past month or so getting to know Steven all over again. She light up when he was around and he made everything better. However the last two mornings she had been fairly sick, vomiting up her breakfast on each occasion. Added to that, Scarlet was late. She didn't want to admit this to anyone but on the third morning when she woke up at Steven's house and felt her stomach clenching even before breakfast she knew that she had to face facts. Before Scarlet could voice her fears however she found herself making a dash for the bathroom, leaving Steven in bed as she just made it in time to empty her stomach contents into the toilet. Thankfully she also managed to hold her hair back in time as well. Groaning Scarlet sat there for a moment, flushing the toilet and wiping her mouth. As she sat there tears began to form in her eyes and Scarlet couldn't tell whether they were tears of joy or saddness.

Things had been going incredibly well for Steven and Scarlet. Between sleeping over at each others houses, becoming comfortable with one another completely and Steven was even warming up more to Andy being in his life. Everyone seemed to be benefiting from the situation and doing better and that made Steven happy to know that this was where he and Scarlet should have been all along. Andy and Steven had even built a decent relationship in the last month, going to a few football games, to the arcade and seeing each other a lot at work they'd gotten pretty close.

Steven felt Scarlet jump out of bed and wasn't sure what she was doing until he heard her vomiting in the bathroom. They hadn't drank the previous night and he wasn't feeling sick so he didn't think it could have been the food they ate but it didn't dawn on him what else it could be. He got up and followed her into the bathroom rubbing her back softly, "Are you okay?" He asked then saw the tears in her eyes. "Scarlet...what's wrong?" He said nervously.

Not long after she had finished Steven arrived and Scarlet didn't know if this was a good thing or not. Normally his presence calmed her but not tofay and not about this. Scarlet shook her head as Steven asked her what was wrong. "I... I..." Scarlet said as she found that the words just wouldn't come out of her lips. It was a simple sentence in itself but it had huge implications. They hadn't really been using contraception as Scarlet had been on the pill, yet there had been a few times when she had forgotten to take it. She hadn't had to worry about taking it for quite a few years and it was hard getting back into a rhythm and the more she thought about it the more she was positive that at least the first time they had been together she hadn't been taking the pill for at least a week. It was more than likely that she was pregnant.

So many thoughts were running through her head as she sat there sobbing with Steven giving her a worried look. Steven... How would he even react to this? Did he want kids? Or more importantly did he was her kid? Scarlet didn't even know if it was safe to have a child at her age, not to mention Andy was enough trouble as it was. How would he even react to the news? God wasn't Andy the one who was meant to get someone knocked up, not his middle aged mother! Her brain was working at a million miles an hour but finally she focused back on Steven who still looked worried.

"I'm late... and I'm vomitting in the mornings" Scarlet admitted to him as she began to get the tears under control and looked up at him. Her eyes were still wet but they looked deep into his trying to see if he understood what this meant and more importantly how he was going to react to this.

Steven finally put two and two together and his eyes got wide. He wasn't sure how he felt about Scarlet probably being pregnant because there were a million and one thoughts going through his head. Happiness, sadness, worriedness, wondering how Andy would react and most importantly how everyone else would react. They weren't married and they hadn't been together long, but mostly, he was happy. It was like their lives were playing out the way they were meant to, only 20 years later and with Andy in the picture. "I... Scarlet... I think it's great if you are." He said softly wrapping his arms around her. "I.. I've always wanted kids. I just never met the right person after you left."

"I don't know what else to say. Are you upset? Is this something you didn't want?" Steven asked worried that maybe it wasn't, maybe Scarlet was freaking out she'd have a permanent connection to Steven now.

Scarlet watched as his eyes grew wide and it was almost as if she could see his mind ticking over. He was probably thinking over everything that she had just thought of if not more. A huge part of her was positive that Steven was not going to be happy about this and that he would walk out. He would blame her for this and want nothing more to do with her. Or worse still he, like Tony, would feel obligated to be with her because of the child and they would end up in some loveless marriage that he wanted nothing to do with. When Steven spoke though his words filled her with the comfort that only he could give her. He wasn't mad.

When he asked if she was upset Scarlet wipped her eyes. "I just..." Scarlet said shaking her head a little bit. "I never thought I would have another kid after Andy and there are so many problems with this but Steven... if you are happy then I am happy" She said after a small pause. "You really are happy and want this? I mean there are other, other options if you dont" Scarlet offered quietly.

"No." Steven said immediately. Even if this was something Scarlet didn't want they would figure it out. He was never a fan of the other options Scarlet spoke about and he wouldn't do that. Not when they were both completely capable. "I am happy." He said hugging her again, kissing her softly. "Who knew.. we'd be raising kids after all." He grinned thinking about all of their life plans that seemed to be coming together. "I ... I am really excited Scar..."

He rubbed her back softly and said, "How are you feeling now? Do you need anything? We should probably call the doctor." He was blabbering on with a million things again like he always did and realized it. He stopped and laughed, "Sorry...One of us hasn't done this yet. I have a feeling he might freak out a little." He joked.

Scarlet could just nod her head as Steven answered with a strong no. When they were younger they had spoken about this and about other opitions to having kids and he had always been against adoption or aborition, so had Scarlet but she was a little more felxible about it and also had been through raising one kid. She loved Andy but doing it again was a big thing to do on ones own but Steven wasn't going anywhere it seemed so she wouldn't be alone. She kissed him back and smiled as he spoke about being happy and excited, not able to stop the smile since his was so contagious.

Steven then seemed to be caught up in the moment and before she could stop him, he stopped himself. "It's fine..." Scarlet said leaning in and kissing him a little. "Maybe first we should get up off the bathroom floor?" She suggested as she went to stand up. "I'll grab one of the home pregnancy tests today from the drug store so that we can be sure and will then book a doctors appointment. If you want to go then you just have to let me know when you are free from work" Scarlet said trying to take this one step at a time.

"Alright." He smiled and stood up, then held his hands out to pull Scarlet up. He wrapped her up in his arms and kissed her softly one time. "What do you think Andy is going to do?" He asked that being his main concern at the moment. Things had been going well with Andy and he hadn't had any problems in the last month since they'd gotten together, although something like this could change that completely and have everything fall apart again. "I think he might be okay with it..." He said trying to convince himself as much as anyone else.

"And I'm free whenever. You come first, Always." He smiled and kissed her again softly walking downstairs with her and looking in the fridge. "I don't have much for breakfast." He frowned knowing he'd neglected grocery shopping the last few days since he'd been over at Scarlet's. "How about some eggs?"

"I honestly dont know what Andy is going to do. I mean you probably know him better than me" Scarlet said shaking her head. It was true that the two of them had become close in the last few weeks and Scarlet had been glad that her son finally had a good male role model. Part of her was terrified that this development would send Andy over the edge again since he had been so good of late. She didn't know if she could deal with angry Andy again, not when she would be going through pregnancy all over again. Instead of continuing to talk about this Scarlet decided to just let it go. She could worry about it once they were sure she was pregnant.

At the mention of eggs she shrugged her shoudlers. "You know I eat anything you cook" Scarlet said with a grin. It was true, Steven's cooking was amazing and Scarlet was more than happy to allow him to cook whenever he wanted to. "But eggs sounds great" She said leaning in and kissing him. Scarlet then went to sit up on the stool at the kitchen bench where she could watch him cook, something she loved doing. However as he started to cook the eggs she turned her nose up a little at the smell. It got worse and finally she spoke up. "Steven... can you please get rid of those eggs" Scarlet said as she raised a hand to cover her mouth in an attempt to control her stomach.

He looked up at her with a funny expression on his face until he realized she was going to throw up again. He turned off the stove and threw the eggs away, spraying some air freshener lightly. "Better?" He asked moving to her side. "We should call the doctor. I am free all day." He offered and rubbed her back softly hoping that she wouldn't be sick again. "I'm gonna go take a shower." He said kissing her forehead and heading upstairs.

He stood in the shower letting the water rush over his body and thought about Scarlet being pregnant. He smiled a little bit and shook his head. He couldn't even imagine how excited he'd be once it was confirmed by the doctor. He got dressed in some jeans and a long sleeve shirt since it was getting a little cooler out now and went back downstairs. "Did you call?" He asked smiling.

It took a few moments before the smell of the eggs had left the air and her stomach began to settle back down. She felt bad that she had made him get rid of the eggs after he had been cooking them for her but she honestly couldn't stand the smell of them, which also sucked because she loved Steven's eggs. Scarlet nodded her head a little bit when he asked if it was better. "Thanks and I'm sorry" She whispered to him. Scarlet had to agree with Steven when he mentioned calling the doctor. If she wasn't pregnant then something could seriously be wrong with her and it needed to be checked out. However Scarlet was almost postive that she was in fact pregnant, the morning sickness had been the same with Andy.

When Steven left to go and shower she called the doctor and managed to get an early appointment for this morning. The doctor wouldn't normally have fitted her in but she mentioned the vomitting and managed to get one. With having a son who had been sick over the years on occasion Scarlet knew the words to use when trying to get a quicker appointment and constant vomitting was one of them. When she had finished on the phone Scarlet then set about making breakfast for Steven since he had to throw the eggs out. She cooked him some bacon and some toast but left the eggs out. She was eating a piece of bacon when he returned.

"Yeah, I got an appointment for in an hour since they had an opening" Scarlet said with a small smile. "I cooked you some breakfast, the bacon is a little over cooked but it is still okay" Cooking had never been her strongest skill and he knew that. "You can make some eggs to go with it if you want, I am going to go shower and get ready" She said as she turned to head upstairs to shower and get dressed for the doctors appointment.

He stopped her for a moment before she went for her shower and wrapped his arms around her kissing her softly, "Thank you for breakfast." He kissed her softly again and let he go to take a shower while he sat and at something. He tried to read the paper but couldn't concentrate he was just too nervous for the doctors appointment. Steven was excited and hoped that she was pregnant mostly because he didn't want anything else to be wrong but also because he had always longed for this aspect of his life to come.

He finished up and did the dishes then headed into the living room relaxing and waiting for Scarlet. When she came down he smiled and kissed her again. He couldn't help but be happy and loving towards her. They went to the car and headed to the Dr's office. When they got there the doctor got them in right away and confirmed what they had thought, "Congratulations are in order." He said shaking Steven's hand and smiling at Scarlet. Steven was happy too. "You are about 6 weeks along."

The doctor gave her a prescription to help the morning sickness and some prenatal vitamins and sent them on their way. They got to the car and Steven looked over at her, "So... we're going to have a baby..." He grinned.

The news that they were pregnant wasn't a surprise to Scarlet but it caused her to smile and for her stomach to twist into knots of excitment. She reached over and took hold of Steven's hand and gave it a squeeze. For the rest of the doctors appointment Scarlet had been fairly quiet, listening to all the advice that the doctor was giving them but she still had a smile on her face. This was a big thing to happen, for both of them. Before too long they were back in the car and Scarlet turned to look at Steven.

Scarlet knew that Steven was excited about all of this and she was as well. "I know..." She said shaking her head. "I just cant believe it. I mean... this is good" For Scarlet this wasn't quite as exciting as it was for Steven. She had been through all of this and had thought that this part of her life was over. Andy was a teenager and she was having enough trouble dealing with him let alone starting all over again with a baby. The being fat, the morning sickness, the dirty dipers and the late nights was all something that all too soon she would be dealing with. Scarlet couldn't however be sad about this, this was Steven's child inside of her and no matter all of the difficulties she couldn't hate this baby.

"Maybe you could drop me back at my place and then get to work, I dont want to keep you from your job all day" Scarlet said as she lent over and kissed him softly. "Then maybe you can come over for dinner tonight and we can tell Andy about all of this... I mean I want you there when I tell him"

Steven nodded, "Alright. That is probably a good idea since I left Maggie in charge." He joked and started the car. He leaned over and kissed her softly again. He started the drive holding Scarlet's hand as he drove towards her house in almost silence minus the low hum of the radio. He started, "Listen Scar... I promise you I'm going to be here no matter what. You're number one." He said looking over at her assuring her seeing the worry mixed with he excitement in her face.

He dropped her off walking her inside and then headed to the restaurant to get some work done. All day he was anxious and excited. He couldn't wait to tell Andy thinking that he would be somewhat happy, but also hoping that he was right. He thought about if Andy rebelled against the idea and what they might do to handle that but he kept trying to put any negative out of his mind.

Rachel worked that afternoon so he knew the restaurant was in good hands. He headed home and showered then changed into some jeans and a shirt, heading over to Scarlet's place. He knocked and opened the door walking inside. Andy was sitting on the couch playing some video games and he didn't see Scarlet, but smelled cooking. He headed into the kitchen, slapping Andy on the shoulder on the way, "Glad to see you're working hard bud." He teased.

He walked into the kitchen and saw Scarlet and smiled, "Hey, how was the rest of your day?" He asked.

Once Scarlet arrived home she relaxed a little before going to her bedroom and taking out some of Andy's old baby pictures and looking through them all. There certainly were some good times and looking at all the smiling faces reminded her of this and certainly relaxed her. She spent the morning just sitting there on the couch before heading out around lunch time to get the script filled at the chemist for the morning sickness so that hopefully she wouldn't be sick in the morning. Once that was done she grabbed some ingrediants for pizza from the store and headed home. Scarlet certainly wasn't in the mood to cook some huge meal today.

When Andy arrived home it was hard for her not to tell him straight away. She was nervous about how he would react the news, praying that he would be okay with it. He had been okay with their relationship but a baby and a sibling were completely different. He would be going from being an only child to hving a new baby brother or sister. Scarlet just couldn't predict how he would react and when he got home she just left him to play video games in the living room while she prepared dinner.

As Steven arrived she heard him stepping inside after knocking at the door and listened as he moved through the living room. "Hey! This is hard work" Andy replied but didn't take his eyes off the tv. Scarlet rolled her eyes but grinned as Steven walked into her line of sight. "It was... uneventful. Just went to the chemist and the store" Scarlet explained to him as she walked over and wrapped her arms around him and kissed him softly. "I missed you, how was work?" She asked, enjoying the moment and trying not to think about the conversation they would have to have tonight with her son.
