The year is 2643. A group of people have volunteered to test the new time machine; set to put them back only a few hours. Any bit of technology is taken from then, in case it interferes with the machine. Anything considered a weapon was taken because...well, for obvious reasons; don't need people dying. That's not to say a weapon could be hidden; they didn't look that closely. At first. It looks like it works. They step into the machine, lights flash, and they all black out.

When they wake up, they found themselves in a strange forest. As they look around, they find that none of them recognize the area, and assume it transported them. However, after wandering around and finding nothing but more forest, they question exactly what happened.


In a much older time, a much smaller group is in training, sparring against each other. All are distracted by the sudden light a little ways away. After a moment of debate, they start walking towards the light, but by the time they get there, the group is gone. They split, and search for whatever caused the light.

Now, stuck in the past, they have to learn how to survive in this time… while, at the same time, try to find their way back to their own time. But a few things have apparently changed. In the past, elves and magic exist… things that, in the future, and believed to only be myth. So what happens now that they’ve been proven wrong? Now that they’re in a different time… that seems like a different world? Now that they actually have to fight for survival?

But the biggest problem? There was a reason they were out training; creatures have suddenly started rising in numbers, and are attacking without restraint. Now they really have to fight to survive… especially when they’re asked to help!
