Character Name
Alexander ā€˜Alecā€™ Lowell

Age
18

Parent
Ares

Weapon(s)
Prefers his celestial bronze tipped javelin (ā€˜Calixtusā€™ he calls itā€”not after the psychotic pope, just because he thought the name was cool), but can work with any other weapon well enough.

Ability
Mimicry: a rare gift picked up from his dad. Alec is capable of replicating other peopleā€™s moves or techniques perfectly after observing them doing it. After watching, like, EVERY SINGLE action movie ever created film ever released, Alecā€™s mastered several forms of martial arts, fencing, and can wield many exotic weapons expertly, ranging from axes to boomerangs.

Empathy: but not in the way that you would normally expect. When Alec is confused, irritated, or feeling helpless, he unconsciously fiddles with peoplesā€™ feelings of anger and hatred. This is similar to the way Percy felt when meeting Ares for the first time in The Lightning Thief. Alec has had serious trouble getting control over it in the past, but nowadays, slip-ups hardly ever happen.

Interrogation scene
ā€œWhen did you start working for Kronos?ā€ asked a familiar voice. He couldnā€™t see the manā€™s features because of the godsā€™ damned lamp in his face, but Alec could recognize Jesseā€™s voice from anywhere.
Alec pulled angrily at the cuffs that kept him from beating his former friendā€™s face in.
ā€œHow many times have we gone over this? For the last time, Jesse, Iā€™M NOT WORKING FOR THE FREAK. What the Hades is wrong with you people?ā€

ā€œHave you given him any inside information?ā€
ā€œIS NO ONE LISTENING TO ME?!ā€ Alec yelled loud enough for the guards standing by the doors to peer inside agitatedly. He glared up at where he assumed his councillorā€™s face would be.
ā€œIf this is some kind of sick, practical joke, I swear to Zeus, Iā€™m not afraid to beat your face in when this is all figured out.ā€ ā€˜...that was probably not the smartest thing to say in this situation,ā€™ the rational voice in his mind piped up. ā€˜Yah? well I think Iā€™m entitled, so SHUT UP.ā€™

Alec heard Jesse sigh. ā€œListen, Alec. Youā€™re only making things worse for yourself. Just tell us why would you betray Olympus. Especially after everything we've been through...ā€ his voice trailed off.
Alecā€™s fists were clenched so tight he felt blood well up under his fingernails.
ā€œYou want to know why, Jess? The truth?ā€
He felt the man shift in his seat, his eyes glinting for a moment from behind the lamp.
ā€œIā€™ll tell you the truth.ā€
Alec slammed his fists on the table, causing his interrogator to jump.
ā€œUP YOURS. ā€˜Cause I already TOLD you godsā€™ damnit! I didn't do a gods' damned thing! ...And you know what? SCREW ZEUS, SCREW ARES, SCREW OLYMPUS. Iā€™m SICK of this! You know what side of the war I fought on, cause YOU FOUGHT RIGHT THERE BESIDE ME.ā€

Bio
Alecā€™s mother, Irena, met Ares at a bar, after he and Irenaā€™s earlier boyfriend decided to fight to see who got the girl. Obviously, Ares remained unscathed, and thus Alec was born. Things went pretty well for a while, Ares actually visiting and at one point living with the two. But, of course, things couldnā€™t last. Ares disappeared. His mother took it well enough though, not wasting any time to find herself a cage fighter named Troy. Not long after, Alecā€™s sister Anna was born. And they were happy. Troy was faithful, believe it or not, and brought home enough to support his family. Things started going downhill, however, when Alec hit puberty. And with puberty, came uncontrolled powers. Suddenly, his parents seemed to be getting angrier and more irritated. More shouts and slamming doors. Then came the serious abuse. It wasnā€™t long till Alec realized he couldnā€™t stay in the household, that soon enough, their violence would turn to him and his sister. So, one night, he packed his and his sisterā€™s bags and left. Living on the streets was rough, but Alec pushed along. After two years of hanging around homeless shelters, and working at McDonaldā€™s, Anna disappeared. Just vanished. Alec didnā€™t take it very well. It was only until he discovered Camp Half-Blood and they took him in did he finally feel he could move on. Still, there was no one out there like Anna...

Itā€™s been three years since Alec had arrived at the Camp. Heā€™s gained a reputation of someone not to be messed with, but doesnā€™t often join in with his other siblingsā€™ love for bullying campers (well, sometimes, if heā€™s been having an especially bad day...).

So begins...

"Over there! I think he went that way!"

Alec flattened himself against the tree trunk, moving opposite the bright beam of the flashlight as the guards ran through the woods. Escaping had almost been too easy, he thought with a smirk. Slipping handcuffs was a useful trick he picked up from his good friend Houdini, and the rest, as they say was history. He was almost ashamed at his former allies' pathetic attempts to locate him. How did they ever manage without me? he thought, almost astonished.

He was just about to move when the feeling of someone whacking his head with a baseball bat hit him swiftly.

"Wha-- Jesus!"

An image of a cave, a familiar face flashed across his vision. The images and sensation was gone as swiftly as they came, but, as Alec opened his eyes once more to see the dark forest around him, he noticed a very faintly glowing path a little off to his right. He knew immediately that they would leave him to the one who sent the messages. Rubbing his head absentmindedly, and standing up from where he had fallen over in surprise, Alec began jogging along the glowing line.

"Honestly, Erin, there MUST have been a less painful way to do that," he muttered as he ran. He knew, Erin. Hecate's daughter, one of the most powerful there ever was. They had never been very close, but sometimes struck up odd conversation about battle techniques and weaponry. I suppose I'll be getting to know her a lot better after all this.

Five minutes passed until Alec finally came across the hill in his vision. Walking up closer to it, he noticed the small opening in the side. Before walking in, he reached into the his back pocket and was pleased to find a small hair clip there. Taking it out and tightening his grip on it, the clip began to expand into his familiar javelin. Calixtus felt right in his hand, a sort of reassurance that he wasn't completely helpless.

Alec crept closer to the cave, seeing Erin and... Thaddeus? That was unexpected. Suspicion began to cloud Alec's mind. What if they were in on this? What if this was some bizarre, elaborate plan to get the escaped prisoners (Of course there were more than just me, look how many guards were out there searching!) back in custody.

Stepping out from behind the edge, Alec held his javelin at the ready. He sent a trade mark Ares glare at the two, tightening his grip on his weapon

"Please tell me you're not one of them," he said, jerking his head back to the woods, "I've beat up far too many demigods for one night."

When Erin did not answer Thaddeus knew that she had as much of a clue as he did. How could this have happened? He could understand why he would be imprisoned, there were a lot of reasons, but why her? She was popular and nice enough do there was no reason. He wondered who else may have got out alive, if there were anybody else. Reguardless of the idea he began to take out his dagger to outline the shape of the United States on the wall to find possible safe havens in the east.

After a few minutes of Thaddeus' drawing Alec, an Ares kid, came into the cave holding his javelin and taking up threats. That was a stupid move especially since he was threatening demigods who's powers were especially dangerous. Though that javelin would kill Thaddeus well he would still have enough time to kill Alec so it was counterproductive to threat, especially since Erin was there. Thaddeus knew little of what her limit was in terms of magical prowess but he was sure that she was still very powerful.

"Put down your weapon Alec, your acting like a damn fool. If either one of us were your enemy, you would know by now. Besides, you know that I refuse to take prisoners." Thaddeus told him half smiling.

Alec glared at Thaddeus in annoyance. Well, he hadn't changed one bit.

"Nice to know you're still a smart ass," he growled, putting down his weapon. As much as he hated to admit it, Death Boy here was right. Alec knew that, if they wanted, Thaddeus and Erin could have him dead in moments if he didn't move fast. Damned magic users, he thought angrily. But, if they weren't with the Olympian guard... were they in the same position as he was? There didn't seem to be an alternative. Going to lean against the wall of the cave opposite the other two, Alec sat down.

"Please tell me one of you understands what the Hades just went on back there," he said, resting his javelin against the wall. The adrenaline had finally left him, and Alec felt more exhausted than he'd ever been since the war ended.

Thaddeus was glad that Alec had chosen the smart move but he was drained from using the shroud in such a large amount so quickly. Usually it was not as hard but he had not used it much prior to this day. Erin was most likely focusing her magic on that mental image or holding the illusion, after all their powers were quite strenuous. He got up from where he was to begin stretching in various movements. When he was finished he practiced his dagger slashing and stabbing for a moment. He looked to Alec and then to Erin. "I'm going outside to keep watch."Then he moved out waiting to be the first to catch sight of Phoenix.

Scott finally arrived to the hill that Erin projected to him, he had no way of knowing if everyone was still there. After all, his progress had been slow after his escape, he had to make sure that he wasn't followed and was more than a little beat up.

" Yo guys, guess who," he called out before stepping into the fake hill he hadn't been entirely sure of how many people to expect inside. But he really wasn't expecting the group that was already inside. He nearly walked right into one of them, good thing he'd made the side step, his ribs would have screamed at the impact. He already knew his damage showed on his face, well at least the pain would.

"Well, well pretty unusual group we have here isn't it? I don't suppose anyone would be willing to patch up a broken rib or two will they, I ran into a cyclops on the way out and we had something of an argument." After that he blacked out a bit and just barely managed to get hold of his consciousness before falling. He wouldn't have been able to stand at all if it weren't for the wall he was lucky enough to have fall against.

Thaddeus certainly found Phoenix, as well as Scot, both in bad shape. She fell unconscious but he caught her before she could hit the floor. Before tending to Scott's wounds he carried her inside and laid her down, bundling up his jacket for her to use as a pillow. Without that jacket he was wearing an orange T-shirt, pants long socks, and sandals. He folded up his left jeans to reach inside a special pocket that he kept eight ounces of Ambrosia and a small pint of water. He gave two ounces of it to the boy, it would heal the ribs which would provide a serious problem if left unchecked. "We do what we have to Scott." He told him.

The child of death walked to the opposite side where he placed Phoenix and sat next to her. She had obviously over extended herself though he had done the same. The only difference was that his powers were stealthier, more morbid power. He killed when he could have chosen not to, without mercy, without wavering, it was a blessing but yet a curse. He took a small bit of Ambrosia to eat to gain some strength back. Putting the Ambrosia away he took out his daggers in exchange to sharpen them against each other. If any of their former misguided friends attempted to come near or even dare to harm them again he would use all his might to do what he was best at doing. What was born to do.
