Description
Personality
Esi Dianaki is subdued and quiet most of the time, lost in his own world. When he is on task he is focused and very intelligent. He has an innate distrust of Authority Figures and becomes silent when near them, more often than not. Esi loves solving problems between others and once acclimated to a group becomes friendly and jovial.
Equipment
Esi carries with him a thin metal staff with a stylized blade upon the end. He has a ring on each finger dedicated as a focus for a different purpose. Around his neck is a close fitting collar with a hanging strap, there is a small metal piece on the end of the strap with a stylized monogram.
History
Esi Dianaki grew up on the streets with his elder brother Ueso. Ueso always looked out for Esi in every way possible and they had a good life together, albeit a hard one. One day though Ueso left without a word, leaving only a hastily written note. "Esi, Well I figured it all out. All my life I've been searching and now I know what I gotta do. I'm going to become a Climber, Esi! Then I will know for sure. I taught you everything you need to know, and when you think you are ready you should become a Climber too. Ueso." Immediately upon receiving this note Esi set out to become a Climber so that he could search for his brother.
So begins...
Esi Dianaki's Story

Esi Dianaki moved silently through the underbrush. Up ahead he could smell someone walking through the forest. Fourtunately for Esi he was still upwind and risked no discovery. Lifting his head he sniffed the air. Female, an animalistic tinge to the sent. Feline. Esi growled. 'What is someone doing out in this forest alone like that?' He thought to himself. This required further investigation. Esi moved quickly to get a better view, clumsy in his curiosity.
Esi Dianaki froze upon hearing the growl of the female. It would not be prudent to continue in such a sneaky and suspect manner. He did not want to be attacked when he just wanted to observe unseen. Esi straightened himself and lowered his staff in a non-threatening manner. "I'm not here to hurt you." He called out before emerging from the underbrush.

Esi Dianaki looked the female up and down. She didn't seem so bad, despite the feline attributes. Esi hated disliking felines in such a cliched manner but something about their sent made him irritable. "I'm heading towards... it, doesn't really matter. I didn't know there was anyone else in this forest. Are you sure you should be traveling alone?"
Esi Dianaki nodded. "I suppose that's where I'm heading as well." Esi thought momentarily about how much he should divulge to the female. He didn't know but maybe he should offer to travel with her. It surely couldn't hurt. "Maybe we should travel together then? Since we are headed to the same place?"
Esi Dianaki gritted his teeth. 'Kid?' He thought to himself savagely. 'I'll show her I don't need babysat...' Out loud he said nothing though and merely nodded, striking off along the same direction the girl had been walking.
Esi Dianaki frowned. The girl was obviously wrong in the head. How old did she think he was? "I'm 15." He said. "Not 5. I can take care of myself, girl."
Esi Dianaki gave the girl a sidelong look. "I can hunt. And defend myself too. What's it to you anyways?" Maybe Esi needed to start listening to his instincts better. Next time he'd just leave the strange cat in the forest alone. For now though he supposed he was stuck with her.
Esi Dianaki stopped. Afraid of girls... He had never met a male feline. Maybe he just didn't like girls? He hadn't known many. And all humans smelt the same, differentiated only by the faux sents they applied to themselves. Esi cocked his head to the side considering. What would it mean if he didn't like girls? His brother had always talked about girls like they were the best thing this side of the towers. Maybe he was missing something. Something he didn't know because he had never known many girls... ... ...
Esi Dianaki snapped out of his revere. It seemed to his advantage to get to know this girl, from a purely scientific viewpoint that is. Like examining a new species of flower, he must study her charefully.
Esi Dianaki stepped forward and took her hand in his, shaking it up and down in greeting. "I'm Esi... it's..." Esi thought hard for a moment trying to recall the manners his brother had taught him. "It's nice to meet you." Yes, he would study her and figure out exactly what a "girl" was and exactly what was supposed to be so good about them. It might even be fun, interacting with people... Esi doubted it though.

Esi Dianaki couldn't believe that had worked. Maybe this would be easier than he thought. "Well I'm not going to just beat up a monster. I'm going to be a climber, see?"
Esi Dianaki hefted his staff and scowled. "What do you think this is for? Picking my teeth? I may not look like much but I can kick some ass when I need too."
Esi Dianaki brushed her hand off with a quick twist of his torso. "What would you know about it then." He said angrily. There was no way his brother would do something that was 'not worth it'. His brother would have found a way to make it work for him.
Esi Dianaki darted forward and grabbed the girl around the wrist as she tried to flee into the trees. "It may not be worth it for you, but I don't have anything to lose now do I? Do you know what it's like to live as a slum boy? He would have given anything to get us out of that!"
Esi Dianaki noticed that he was still holding onto her wrist. She was surprisingly warm. He could feel the puling of the blood rushing though her veins. Esi pulled his hand back quickly taking in a quick breath. "He is no one. I would do anything to get out of that. People treat us like dirt, and it's worse if you got fuzz."
