❀Appearance: Tersius is an athletic young man, probably in his early twenties at the latest. He has stormy grey eyes that tend to dart around at random, searching for enemies that do not exist or information that he does not possess. His hair is brown so dark as to almost be black, combed and greased daily. On parade, he will wear a white-haired wig under a tricorne hat as part of a show of devotion to the Kingdom of Light. His standard uniform consists of a brown jacket and breeches, brown hat, and thick black marching boots; his personal attire is usually simple clothing in dull colors.

♝ Getting to Know Me Better ♗
╚═════════════════╝
❀This is my life: The son of impoverished leather-workers, Tersius felt as if his entire life was spent scraping and begging for any respect or favor he could claw into his own hands. Seemingly dutiful, obsequious in the presence of authority, and unflinchingly polite, he managed to worm a way into a position among the Palace of the Kingdom of Light. First as a stewards assistant, then a squire, and finally a guardsman; all at the astonishingly young age of 20. Despite being young and untested, it seems as if Tersius is destined for greatness and further advancement - but it will never be enough for him. The outward courtesy is simply a facade - and one way or another, he has his own plans for the peace process...
❀Sometimes I act like this: Tersius is polite, kindly, and always ready to listen to a tired Lord or Lady. He always seems to have a good suggestion, and more importantly, remains quiet when his betters need silence. However, in that quiet he seethes with a quiet hatred of each and every one of them - though that might change as one either is able to soften his manic edges, or manipulate his short-sighted desires. He is often quietly deadpan and his comments laced with hidden criticisms. Several things can trigger strange outbursts; he hates idleness, the power that nobles have over others (unless they use it as he feels they should), and decadence... When it belongs to those he dislikes. But for himself and his allies, those things are completely tolerable, even admirable. He loves finding someone as devious and petty as himself, and savors the moment when a plan falls into completion. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, fine foods and teas - the kind he did not have growing up - and tactical planning. Those who share his dark humor and strange ideals may find a friend for life, as the few times Tersius can bring himself to trust, he cannot imagine that trust being betrayed.
