Description
The Miraak Cult are the voluntary worshipers of Miraak, the original Dragonborn. While Miraak was trapped in Hermaeus Mora's realm, he used this cult to help him to spread his influence. Now that their leader has returned to the mortal plane of Nirn, they serve him loyally with their lives, and violently oppose any notion of this other supposed "Dragonborn" who defeated Alduin.
