Lobby

I walked up the steps to my new school. I listened as I heard the Pat Pat of rain on my umbrella. The air smelled of freshly cut grass and tasted of Cherry Blossoms.. Why was I here again? Oh yeah, Mother gambled me away. I snorted. Good for Nothing.. I opened the front door. The lobby was actually quite different from the outside. Elegegant more than anything. Though the atmosphere gave me chills. I looked around. There were few humans. As I'd imagined. Most were Undead. Not that there were many people in the lobby anyway. I looked over at the group of humans. They looked.. unsure of there suroundings.. I fixed my attention on one of the boys in the group. He seemed like a jock. Broad Shouldered. Black hair. But something was different about him... It was his facial expression. He looked disgusted. And he didn't even try to hide it.. I hated people like him. People who just judge others before getting to know them. Who think they can just decide who people are. " Moron.. " I thought to myself.
I walked over to the front desk where a Pale, small, old woman was standing. I couldn't tell if she was undead or human..

" Excuse me, But can you point me to where the Math room is? " I asked smiling.

She looked at me unsure for a second. " You go down that hallway and its the last door to the left. " She answered, still looking at me weird..

I thanked her and made my way to the classroom. What was with that look? I put my hands to my eyes. Oh no.. I forgot my sunglasses. Why must I be cursed with these weird colored eyes? I thought to myself resentfully. I took a deep breathe. Just don't do anything weird and you'll be good. I reached for the knob and turned it. Everybody was already in there seats. Great, First day, and I'm late. Great..
