Mansion on the Hill

Kaylee sighed, brushing her long black hair out of her face for what seemed like the millionth time. Her painting was almost done and Az had just called out that dinner was done. Frowning, she added the last bit of detail work and closed up her jars of paint, washing her brushes and then putting all her supplies back in her bag. She would move the easel and canvas after dinner, she decided, and so she headed inside, stopping in the bathroom to wash off paint from her hands and face. Satisfied that she was mostly clean, she ran a brush through her hair and headed to the kitchen, removing a glass of water from the fridge, she took a seat at her usual spot at the table and quickly ate her chili, trying to avoid all talk and 'Talon'. Within minutes she was up and washing her bowl in the sink, murmuring a thank you to Az, she headed to her room.
As she entered her room, which she had never gotten around to painting or decorating, she left the door partially open. The spacious white room was neat and orderly, mostly because Kaylee didn't have many possessions. Heading over to the far corner of the room, she smiled as she looked at the assortment of black cases for her numerous musical instruments. Hesitating, she turned to the baby grand piano that took up most of the space in her room, the large black instrument standing at the bottom of her bed. Finally her smile reached her eyes as she walked over, sliding onto the bench and uncovering the keys, she began playing her favorite song, one she had memorized nine years ago, before she had even come to the mansion. Clair de Lune echoed slowly through the building, Kaylee playing with her eyes half closed as she played, head bowed toward the shiny black and white keys.

Az smiled at Luna. "It's ok. I figured that. Just sit and enjoy." She looked at Talon. She knew something was wrong and before she knew her mouth was moveing on it's own. "What's wrong." She asked kindly. She was a little surpriced she even talked to him.

Talon was not surprised that Kaylee was rushing about he got the intense feeling of hatred from the middle child. However when Az asked him what was wrong that he was surprised from and as a response he slightly stuttered "n-no-nothing" then getting un-shocked "nothing at all. Thank you for allowing me to stay here for the night and i shall be shore to be out of your hair before noon tomorrow most likely sooner." then as Clair de lune started to play he closed his eyes in the glorious rapture of the music untainted by 'rock and roll' or 'rap' or 'punk' just simply wonderful piano music floating through the air.

Luna ate her food and waited for everyone else to finish, to that she could have some pie. When she heard Talon once again mention leaving in the morning she said, "I still really wish that you could stay longer."

As Talon finished his chili and wiped his mouth with a napkin to make shore that he didn't have any food on his self "I told you young one i have to leave and i gave you my reasons" then standing up and bowing once more "thank you for the meal I believe i will retire now" he then headed for bed.
