Shinji Ishikawa's Story

After a couple small conversations, the three were at the restaurant. Kaoru seemed to warm up lightly and Koji was still unsure about Totoya. Of course Koji had some genuine concern about this boy talking to his sister, he wasn't one to always believe rumors yet...

"Koji~! it seems I forgot my money again." Kaoru began, giving her older brother her usual grin. "Care to pay for me?" Koji blinked a few times, sighing and giving a small smile once more. "Fine, however, you're paying me back later." He replied, about to say something more until someone had cut him off.

"How about I pay?" The black haired man asked, the never-fading smirk upon his lips apparent. Kaoru stopped in her place, huffing and crossing her arms. "I'm not gonna let you pay, ShinShin." She called back. Koji sweatdropped, "Good Afternoon, Shinji. I trust you have your funds?" Shinji simply nodded, chuckling at the huffing female. He enjoyed teasing her about her pride in little references.

Brown hair caught his eyes, and he turned to the new comer to the group. "And who do we have here...?"

Kanae Yuuki looked at the group of people who sat at Fine Mine Noodle. She was sitting there, alone and slightly bored, yet nothing showed on her face. She turned to analyze each person who stood there. First there were the twins, whom the younger one, the girl, seemed like she was half Japanese and half .... American? She wasn't sure. She moved onto analyzing the next twin, the older one, a boy. He seemed slightly older and more responsible then the other, but was still not responsible enough.

She sighed, and looked at the guy standing, whom they had called ShinShin. He looked quite serious. The last one she looked at was a boy with brown hair, the one whom there was a slight rumor about. He was quite talkative, yet he had no memory... was it possible? The fact that maybe the brown hair boy wasn't human? She sighed and went back to staring straight ahead.

Her blonde hair moved slightly as the wind blew across, and she sighed. She was done with this place. She stood, leaving her bowl there, and walked across, accidentally bumping into the one named ShinShin. She blinked and turned to walk away, as if it hadn't happened.

"I'm Totoya, i'm guessing you're Shinji since Koji called you that" Totoya spoke in hesitation. There was something about Shinji that he could feel. It felt that there was some strange aura surrounding him. Perhaps something dangerous...

Suddenly, out of nowhere a person shoved by Shinji without saying a word.

"That was a little rude" he called.

All of a sudden, he heard a voice out of nowhere warning him "You are in danger, kill him... Kill him" followed by an extreme headache. "Can you all hear that?" Totoya questioned as he blacked out.

Kanae turned back to look at the person who spoke.

The boy with brown hair, the person whom she analyzed as talkative.The forgotten one. She stood their silently staring at him, as she thought. Then she spoke one word, with her brothers voice, which she had perfected over years, being her brother for so long.. "Sorry." She said darkly.

She walked toward Shinji, bowing to him slightly, and knelt down on one knee. "I Am Kanae Yuuki,Please forgive me." She said emotionless and straightened back up. Her hair flopped over her shoulder as she stood. She used one hand to bring it forward, over her right shoulder. Then she turned, as Totoya blacked out.

Shinji raised an eyebrow, "Totoya? Oh rumor boy, eh.."He muttered under his breath, looking down as he thought. This boy was... said to have lost his memory. How? Everyone had different stories on it. Some said he fell, others say a sword accident, another said it was some sort of breakdown when his father died. He almost didnt notice that some boy decided to bump into him.

"Watch it, you ignorant--" "Shinji."

At the sound of his name uttered by the female, he shut his mouth. He knew that Kaoru disliked it when he cursed. "Sorry, dear."He replied his tone sounding rather forced than sincere. Then the boy had come bak all of the sudden. "Kanade Yuuki..? Uhm. It's okay?" he replied, bowing lightly in reply.

Kaoru turned to look at Totoya, ready to scold him a bit until he questioned. "Totoya...? Hey--!!" She trailed off, attempting to keep him from collapsing on the spot. "Hey, Totoya!" She spun her head to look at the four who stared in reply. "Stop staring and help, you fools!" She shouted, snaping the two boys out of their confusion.

Kanae raised an eyebrow at Shinji, who almost swore. She wanted to laugh, although that would be inappropriate. She sighed instead.
She turned back, to see Shinji bowing back.

Kanae walked towards Kaoru and the unconscious boy. She easily picked him up and threw hm over her shoulder "Where to?" She asked, her tone calm.

"To the Yoshida Residence. My mother's a nurse, I believe she could help somehow." Kaoru said, walking down the way towards her place. Koji looked wearily to Shinji, unsure whether to really trust Kaoru's ideas. The female looked back at the boys, gesturing them to follow her.

"This... Totoya guy. Doesn't many people say he's related to something?" Shinji asked, elbowing his rival's brother. "Something paranormal, I here.." The elder replied, walking after his sister as they Lead to their home. "I just hope she doesn't get to attached, she needs to focus on her own things." Shinji muttered, rolling his eyes at Kaoru's possible naive behavior.

Kanae nodded. She walked after Kaoru, carrying the unconscious teen in her arms.

She listened as the conversation flowed around her, smiling despite usually having no emotion. She looked at the group and smiled "It would be nice to have friends" She muttered

"Goodnight, Kaoru, Koji." Shinji said, dismissing him self and watching as the two both went to their own rooms. Shinji sighed, shaking his head with a small smile on his face. He walked off to go to the other guest room. Despite living not to far from his home, he convinced the siblings to let him stay over for the night.

He opened the door, taking a brief look of the entire room before shutting the door behind him and sitting on the bed. With a quite thump, Shinji fell onto the bed. He wasn't sure he could trust this Totoya guy. Koji mentioned that he had come up to Kaoru much earlier during practice. Kaoru didn't need distractions or rumors on her, neither does the Yoshida family. He laid his arm on his forehead, staring at the ceiling.


What are you trying to do...?

Totoya looked through every room and found himself in the guest room. The aura could be felt more and more as he walked in. Totoya realized that the aura was coming from not a place but a person. It was Shinji...

Could he be in trouble?

Totoya gave a quick glance through the door but nothing was wrong. It seemed that everything was normal and nothing dangerous that was going to happen. Maybe it was just all his own imagination...

He slowly wandered back to his own room suddenly hearing a yell from the guest room, it sure wasn't Shinji. The voice was too weird to be him. What could possibly have happened?

Shinji braced himself for what may come, confused and unadmittedly terrified. He chocked on his gasps, glad to utter his cry of help. This wasn't right. What was this? He couldn't possibly tell! He squeezed his eyes shut, unknowing of the consequences it may lead to in the end.

Koji's eyes widen, sitting up from his bed in shock. Something was happening in his household! He looked to the display stand where his honorary sword hung. He bit his lip, opening it up and unsheathing the beautiful blade of a sword. He inched out of his room, soon recognizing a sound that seemed to be his sister shuffling to get out of her room. She had her own sword as well, based on the sounds of cabinets that opened.

"That was Shinji, wasn't it?"

"...sadly, yes."
