Standing at exactly six feet, this dark woman is the definition of muscular, and looks quite 'manly'. However, her hair is dyed a bright, though now faded, pink, and almost always tied back into two short pigtails.
Airiq is a strong individual, both mentally and physically. She shows a great love for all the students, no matter their reputation or how they act towards her or others.
When faced with decisions, Airiq has shown to place little trust in the sole power of authority; she does not respect the school's principal because he is the headmaster, but because she has come to know and respect him as a person. Miss Wright absolutely refuses to give up, sometimes to the point of stupidity.
She is, all in all, a very good, trustworthy person.
Within her desk, Miss Wright hides a pair of grass knuckles. They are extremely powerful, crafted from pure gold, and perfectly fitted to her fists.
From a young age, Airiq was a very athletic girl, constantly riding her bike or going for jogs or hitting something. Given that she was the daughter of a witch and wizard, both rather chubby, this was unexpected. She ate meat as if she were an eternally starved lion. By the age of eight, Airiq was almost nothing but muscle, and had begun to adapt very boy-ish features. Her parents became worried, unhappy with the way their daughter was turning out, eager to enroll her in the Universy of Wonders and force their way of life upon her. The moment her age permitted, they did; before long, she was in a class room, hearing tales of the magical world. True enough, these mystics had been a part of Airiq's life from her birth, and it seemed natural to her. However, upon attending the academy, she began to take a great interest in the world around her, hidden to most.
Within her first week of schooling, Airiq earned a letter sent home to her parents that her stay at the university was questionable, only holding by virtue of her talented parents; this girl had no magical inclement whatsoever, and it was nearly impossible to master even the most basic incantations. Despite failing miserably in classes such as restoration and illusion, the Wright's child succeeded tremendously in alchemy, history and the like. The other students, already having been aware of her parents and the decent name they had made for themselves, quickly discovered the girl's flaw, and harassed her constantly for it. Although Airiq endured several weeks of teasing, finally, within six weeks of her entering the school, Airiq Wright slammed her left fist into the sneering face of one particularly annoying boy.
Given that the boy was known as a bully, the tale of that encounter never made it to the teachers, though the students did hear all about it. From then on, and as her features grew more masculine with age, she was called many names, but all indicating that she wasn't a girl. Although Airiq constantly beat the biggest, meanest bullies downβ she was wise in picking only the ones that would not rat on herβ the mocking did not cease. Still, this only caused the girl to delve deeper into her studies. The teachers, despite her failure in several of her classes, took a distinct liking to her, noticing the way she was ostracized from the luckier students, who had magical talent.
On one of her holidays vacations back home, by which she was seventeen, Airiq dyed her hair a bright pink and begun wearing it in pigtails, hoping that this, in addition to her already girlie wardrobe, would help dispel the comments about her, making her seem more womanly. However, it only got worse; she was mocked for this poor decision in hair styling. Her parents and her grew apart, as they were radically different people, and she could feel her parents disappointment in her.
Upon her graduation, Airiq refused to leave the University, and quickly became the head of its infirmary. Using what she learned from the school, as well as several mortal classes she took on caring for the body itself, this once teased girl is now Nurse Wrist, the school's beloved doctor.
I -dare- you to try and hurt one of her patients.
