Mousey brown hair and hazel eyes are the first thing one typically notices about Marilyn. The natural waves and slight curls in her thick hair are strange considering her family has stick straight hair. Her hair falls down about 5 inches past her shoulder. One never sees these things however, because her hair is always up in some way or form. She considers in pesky and bothersome to have it down - resulting in always having a bun or ponytail. It is very rare to see her with her hair down. Her completion is rather pale from the lack of real sunlight, but on Earth she thinks that is bound to change, that she'll get that "sun kissed" skin that is heard of in stories of the past. On her face she has faint freckles that bridge across her nose. Eyes that are light brown with specks of green, blue, and yellow pierce the person she looks at. They say eyes are the windows to the soul - and it is no exception for Marilyn. Despite her efforts to put on different emotions, her eyes sometimes give away what she really feels underneath.

She's the oldest sibling in her family. Responsibility was laid upon her at birth it seemed. It has always been her job to make sure her family is doing alright, it's been her job to get things done, and it's been her job to listen to her Mother's emotional breakdowns about how supporting the family was near impossible. When she tells you she'll do something, you have her word it will get done. She isn't one to leave empty promises. To the ones she loves she keeps a smile worn for their sake, and goes out of her way to make sure their lives are comfortable - even if that means giving up a meal or sleeping on the floor versus having a bed. Living in Wings she's learned to make something out of nothing. She despises the ones in the Sectorum for living such easy lives, and thinking nothing of the ones who are living off of their scraps. Wings isn't an easy place to live in. It's a doggy dog world in which everyone is out for themselves. Kindness is a hard thing to come by in that place it seems.

When problems arise in her family it was up to her and her Mother to solve them. Marilyn took on work to help support the family, and tried to excel in the mediocre schooling system they were provided. Much was always expected from the girl, and little praise was ever given to her. That resulted in Marilyn feeling like she had little piece of worth. Often she wonders what she's doing in this world - and feels like her best is never good enough. Deep down she knows her Mother loved her, but if she did, she never showed it.

Marilyn is often withdrawn from people, and tends to only speak when needed. At home she was the same. People say she's lost in a shell. A shell that she uses to protect herself, to separate herself from emotion. Maybe with the threat of survival dangling over her head she'll learn to come out of her shell that she has been in for far too long.

Wings is no place she calls home. It's simply a place where her being resides and thrives to live another day. Little did she know that the life she has now, will be far better than the one that is residing on Earth. She was named after the famous woman Marilyn Monroe - which was now only in history book. Her Father was a politician that left her Mother after he was promoted to a higher position, leaving to Sectorum. The only thing she has of her Dad's is a ring her sent her when she was 8, and photos that lie in frames around the house. She despises her Father for leaving her Mother with such a burden, and not bringing them with him.
