Sarina looked at his wings. She knew he had them but never really saw them. Running her fingers through her hair, she looked over at the humans. What harm could it be to have just a bite? Her eyes flickered from Ian to the humans. Then walking over to the one she got, decided she was hungry. Hoisting herself up on her tipee toes, she bit the guys neck, hungrilly drinking.

After a moment, she stepped back and licked her lips, thankful for the blood. She looked over at Ian, licking her top lip. "Thank you, Sir." She whispered, smiling at him.

For the first time she looked at him. Actually looked at him. She realized she really liked his purple eyes. But quickly shook the though away. She bowed her head slightly, keeping eyes downcast. She wasn't really sure what to do. She'd never just been around someone without orders.

Ian watched her intently and she seemed very gentle. Even biting the humans, she looked like one of the most graceful cretures.

"You do not have to continue to bow to me...You can look me in the eyes all you want." He lifted her chin again, forcing her to look him in the eyes. He lightly kissed her cheek and pulled away, but staying very close to her.

"Your eyes are stunning," He touched her hair again. Just moving her bangs a bit. "and I absolutely love your hair." He smiled slowly. Then his wings seemed to wrap her into him, pulling her closer to him, forcing their bodies to fully touch. He had backed against a wall and he raised his eyebrows. He let out a light chuckle.

"They tend to have a mind of their own sometimes...Do you like them?" He asked, wanting an honest answer, even if it was something that critisized him.

Sarina looked up at him, her eyes searching his to see if there was some secret motive for his actions. She swallowed as his wings wrapped around them, not used to the closeness of another person. "Love them." She whispered. And it was the truth.

Something in the back of her mind was nagging her. Telling her to leave, that this wasn't her place. She was supposed to be in her room, waiting for and instructions on what she needed to do.

Looking up at him, the thought quickly left her mind. She couldn't seem to keep her train of thought around him. It would have frustrated her, except she was feeling more at peace from finally being fed.

Alex blinked as Jenson threw herself into him, then enclosed her with his own arms in attempt to comfort her.
"Jen, everyone makes mistakes, even an Alphess", he said gently. "Mistakes are made so we can can learn from them, and trust me..there's a lot to be learned", he finished with a quiet chuckle.
He leaned back a bit and put a finger under Jenson's chin to lift her gaze to his eyes.
"There is nothing for you to be ashamed of, you are not a fool", He assured her. "You trusted the vampires, it was a mistake, and I know your smart enough to not let that happen again".

Ian smirked. She seemed at ease and he was curious how she would react if he were to really try something. He wanted to, being this close to her he wanted to.

"Sarina, you may be one to take orders, but there are times when you can relax. Like right now. Just take the time to enjoy that you are refreshed from feeding and you are comfortable...Which I hope that you are."

He couldn't get over the fact that he was this close to one of the lowest of his clan members. And he was quite attracted to her.

He couldn't stop himself from pressing his lips to hers, he just felt like it was in the moment. His wings retreated from wrapping around her to stretch out to their full length again. He held ths kiss for a few long seconds and then pulled away, waiting for a reaction from her.

. . . . .

Jenson slightly smiled. His words helped, but she growled at the last sentence. "No, I will not ever trust them again. Vile, disgusting, vermin. I hate him. And I cannot stand that slippery piece of shit fire head Hayley." She wished she could capture her once again. She would torture her beyond her wildest dreams. She had the power to make her kill herself if she deemed that it was suitable.

"Thank you, and I apologize for my outburst..." She gave an awkward laugh and rubbed the back of her neck. She sighed and wondered if they would come back again. Probably not anytime soon since they just got food. Ugh, her stomach felt strange and she felt sick to it. She shook her head erasing the images.

"Want to go to the house with me?" She asked, heading off towards their residence. She glanced over her shoulder before continuing to walk.

Sarina listened to him talk, and went into shock for a few seconds as he kissed her. She looked up at him as he pulled away, eyes full of wonder, and a little happiness. She wasn't sure why, but she suddenly felt the urge to ask a stupid question.

"Why did you do that?" She asked him sincerely curious. It was a valid question, after all. She was the pet. Basically someone around to do chores for the higher ranks. He was a leader, she was the one who did his chores without being glanced at so he didn't have to work.

Not to say she didn't like that he kissed her. She very hesitantly admitted to herself she did. But like she had been telling herself. She knew her place. And it wasn't supposed to be where she was now.

Sarina was truely lost.

Ian was not expecting her question. His eyebrows pulled together, knitted in concentration.

"I...I'm not truly sure...I just...wanted to. I mean, I have for a while. And that just seemed like...I don't know, a moment?" He was not sure if that was the proper term. It had been a while since his last relationship. With Ari it had been only about sex. It did get old, no matter how much he liked it. He wanted something different. Something that meant pure love...

"I..won't do it again if that's what you want." He really did not want to say that, but he did not want her to be forced to do anything.

He cleared his throat and slid out from between her and the wall. He looked back to her, walking backwards to watch her. He would leave her if she wanted to be alone, but in the moment it was completely up to her.

Was there even a cause too lost,
Ever a cause that was lost too long,
Or that showed with the lapse of time to vain
For the generous tears of youth and song?
-Robert Frost

It was dark. Quite dark actually. A bit too dark for the liking of anyone, even some creatures of the night. Only the oldest of creatures could probably stand the darkness, and there were few things like that. An owl, perhaps, could stand it, contracting and expanding it's pupils to fit the situation. This particular creature, though, didn't much like pure darkness. It raised it's head slowly from the bed, tossing it's hair back and forth rampantly.

Feeling it's way towards the nearest lamp, despite not needing it, and knowing where it sat, as it had sat for many, many years. The creature slowly opened it's orange-golden eyes, as the light was flicked on. It's long, nearly white hair shined against the sudden light brilliantly, like crystals shining in moonlight, only highlighting it's eyes. It stretched, despite not needing too, like it had just awoken from a long slumber, even though it didn't really sleep, faking a yawn. It rose from the covers, apparently naked, revealing a slender, curved body, obviously female. Her skin was white as snow, but had just a bit of color to it. The black crosses implanted on her body shown well against her pale skin, almost hypnotically made. She grabbed the brush near the lamp that was just lit, combing her hair easily into shape, like it had even been messed up.

Briefly contemplating a shower, she dawned her silky black robes and pants, which almost resembled a traditional kimono. Turning to a large silver dresser on a far wall next to a bathroom, she put on her jewelry and lip ring. She slipped on her softest and quietest house shoes and left the room briskly, leaving behind the scent of a peppermint she had just popped in her mouth.
She couldn't exactly tell what time it was outside by the corridor she was in, and she much didn't care. She could only think to herself how her skin didn't exactly have as much blush as she had wished in it, prompting her to feed. And by feed, I mean consume the very liquid of life: blood.

The beautiful woman stalked down the halls, towards the dungeons. She could hear voices all in the corridors and rooms as usual, as her senses were heightened. A sly, slightly sadistic smile came over her face as she thought of the work she managed to avoid by acting like she was injured and asleep. She also smiled at the thought of what trouble she could cause for society today. Her trot quickened slightly as she neared the dungeons. She heard many voices around here.

She didn't really pay attention to the other creatures in the rooms before the chambers and even in the dungeon. As she neared, she heard the heart beats of many humans: What a feast.... She couldn't help think to herself. The only other face she felt worth recognizing in the room was Ian, and the girl he was creeping on. She wasn't sure if she recognized the girl though, as her back was turned to her. Then he did something she completely expected from him, but at the same time was confused. He kissed her.
She then realized who the girl was. It was Sabrina, the pet of the vampires. She couldn't help but think how silly it was.

"Oh, we're hitting on the pets now, are we?" Jadis said in a snaky voice from the doorway, a smile dancing on her lips. Her eyes gleamed with entertainment.

Sarina shook her head, taking a step toward him. She adn't meant to hurt his feelings, or make him think he's unwanted. It's not what she had meant at all.

"No..Ian, it's okay. Don't go." She said, for the first time her voice louder than a whisper. But even then her voice was soft and quiet. "I didn't mean I wanted you to go, Sir." She stepped closer to him and smiled at him. "I'm not upset that you kissed me. I just wanted to know why. I am, after all, just a pet."

Her dark eyes watched his, wanting to be sure she didn't accidently say something wrong again. She really didn't want him to feel unwanted.

Ian was glad that she hadn't said that he wanted to leave. Her coming towards him made him smile. He wanted to pull her to him, just hold her.

"Well, I am glad for that. I won't go if you don't want me to." He smiled, but it soon dropped into a scowl. His head snapped up towards the Messenger of the clan. He snarled at her and his face was clearly angered.

"Who asked for your opinion? Pretty sure I didn't." She was speaking out of place and this angered him. He pulled Sarina by the hand towards the stairs. He wasn't about to fight right now, even though it seemed very intriguing.

"We will settle this later." He hissed. They went up the grand staircase towards his room. When they were behind the door just the two of them he sighed, glad that they had alone time now.

"Now, anyway." He smiled, pulling her to him again. "I like this."

She smiled. She did too. She really did, but she couldn't help but think there was some other motive he had in mind. Either way.

Her eyes flickered up to him. "Me too.." She said softly. But the comment Jadis had made bugged her. Hitting on pets now are we? Sarina frowned at that. It was exactly what she had been thinking in the first place. This was very strange for someone in his ranking to even talk to her. For gods sake, she didn't even have a last name. Not one she shared, that is. She dropped it after Joining the vampires.

Sabrina looked up at him curiously. "What are you thinking about?"

Stacy irregular eyes skimmed across the area, concentrating on the streets below her. She was up high but not to high in hiding, defending the ones in danger. Sitting still on the hard rough brick roof top, as the wind pushed her multicolored hair to fly to the side and sway in all different directions. The wind pushed on her warm tan skin, but it didn't seem to bother her, all she cared for was protecting the innocent ones. Her head snapped to the side when hearing a twig or branch snap, and her instincts kicked in. She jumped down the building and walked over to the noise,"Come out and show yourself." She growled it, not as a simple request but and threatening command. Then the person showed their self and her prediction was right,"Why are you here?" She growled again, in a more threatening growl than before. The vampire simply answered, as he walked around the purple headed Lycan,"To feed of course my dear." Her fist balled up as he laughed a mincing laugh. "Ha, you make me laugh, in order for you to do that your going to, well actually have to go through me in order to feed. But I doubt you'll ever pass." She teased, didn't have to turn into her true form there was only one of them to defeat. Dodging the first attack the vampire threw at her, then she decided to attack throwing her arm back to blast a path of light through the vamps eyes. Holding her ears as he screamed in agony, it hurt her ears so much she couldn't stand all of the screaming so she jumped onto the building that she was on before watching the vamp burst into little particles of light.

Ian was pissed. This was what Jadis wanted. She hadn't had a fight with the higher ups lately, preferring to play in the dogs gardens. But today she was feeling extra annoying. She watched as their leaders head flipped back at her, spitting out a retort. She sighed a giggle as he said they'd finish later. She whistled behind them as Ian pulled Sabrina up the stairs.

"Don't run from your feeeeeeeliiiiings!~" Jadis cackled after him, feeling a bit childish as well as provoking. She looked forward to his 'lecture'. "Womanizers....." She sighed.

Speaking of which, she had heard throughout the house that Ace was here. She hadn't had a chance to greet him yet, knowing he was even more of a lecher than their leader. She enjoyed them though, being the beauty she was, and how sadistic her personality is. Womanizers were the most fun to play around with, other than the dogs tempers. She chuckled again to herself.

She would greet him later though. She danced forward, gingerly, attacking at least 4 humans at a time. They screamed, only fueling her bloody frenzy. Despite that, though, she was quite the clean eater, not getting a single drop of blood on the floor, or her clothes. After draining about 4 humans of all there blood, she felt her blush would be sufficient to wonder the humans town.

She stood silently, grinning at the other humans as she went by. They screamed, ran, or clawed away from her. As she passed, she brushed a hand over each ones face, giving them an angelic smile, maybe full of false hope, until she reached the door.

Ian averted his violet eyes and sighed, it was a long sigh. "I really want to go back and scream at Jadis....It doesn't matter what your rank is, it shouldn't be a big deal. She can go fuck herself for all I care." He gently touched her cheek with the back of two of his fingers, he smiled lightly. "You are much more beautiful anyway."

He put one hand behind her head, pulling her close to him to meet him in another, longer passionate kiss. His hand tightening in her hair as he let his lips open into hers.

He pulled away for a moment, their foreheads touching. He chuckled, now curious.

"And what are you thinking about, sweetheart?"

She laughed lightly. She should've guessed he'd ask that. And it took her a minute to think. "I'm thinking....how the hell I went from a human catching trip to standing in the clan leaders room, with him calling me beautiful."

She smiled, feeling at ease and at the same time really nervous.

She had only been kissed a few times, back when she was human. And never as a vampire. She was a very... isolated person. Still, she enjoyed his closeness. "How did that happen, anyways?"

She breathed out a light laugh, still finding a little humor in what had happened in the past hour.

Strange things sure do happen.

Seeing Jenson smile made Alex feel better. The Alphess had a lot on her mind, and Alex would go to great lengths to alleviate some of the stress Jenson was carrying around due to leadership.
"Want to go to the house with me?" Jenson asked.
Alex nodded, and they both started off through the woods back to the Werewolf residence.

As the sun began to rise, the curvy vampire walked out onto the porch of their home. She noticed it was about to be sunrise, and thus had quickly changed accordingly. It seemed to be somewhat cloudy today, though, so it wouldn't have been that much of a problem. Still, she took an umbrella with her. It seemed most the other vampires were either too afraid to leave during day time, or they were 'resting'. Jadis, though, had decided she was going to play in the dogs woods again today. Maybe she would meet one. Maybe she wouldn't, who knew?

It didn't take very much time for her to steadily bound forward, toward the city and the wolves territory. She was, after all, the fastest vampire; quite possibly the fastest being on Earth. That was, of course, why she was the messenger. She was great at not being noticed or heard, and her speed was impeccable. There were always faults to strengths, but so far her speed had no faults. Maybe that was why she was so antagonistic.

Still, she was not cocky about her abilities. She knew when to not pick fights; actually, she didn't really care much for fighting. She just enjoyed torturing people. But not fighting, especially hard battle. This probably stems from her fear of pure black wolves, and what one had done to her in the past. She slightly cringed at the thought, shaking her smile back to her face soon after.

She was finally there though, in the midst of the dogs large forest, the air abundant with grasses and smells. She pranced around from one tree to the next, then a bush. Simply playing round, attack birds and deer that she happen to come across. Another relaxing day for Jadis.

Oren turned round to regard Ace.
"You know if you're going to start touching my face it's probably not a good idea to do it when I'm handling corrosive chemicals." she chuckled.
"You don't want to get any of this accidentally spilled down your front, I can tell you. Also., for future warning probably not a good idea to do it when I'm not expecting it...might end up biting your fingers off. I don't mind it of anything just...hah...most of the things I do come with a safety warning."

She organized the bottles in the cabinet so she knew what was going where, and made her way over to her chair, pulling the sheet off it.
"I caught you eying the scar. Not sure if Ian would be keen if I told you about that one. Happened during the fight we had with Cray. The others were having a party downstairs and I'd had enough that shit and gone to my room. Unfortunately Cray was up there too and decided it's really piss Ian off if he decorated the wall with half my trachea. Kinda killed the party when the others came upstairs to find my room looking like an abattoir."

Ian decided a wall wasn't the best place to be, so he pulled her up into his bed. He wasn't planning on starting anything so soon, but the comfort level increased so he was not complaining. They lay next to each other on the opposite sides, although he wanted her closer then that.

"Well, you have always caught my eye...So I thought that maybe we could get to know each other better." He sneered and glanced towards her, a finger brushing her cheek before his eyes stared back up at the cieling.

He had completely pushed Jadis out of his mind. She was like a younger, less educated Oren and there was no point to keep going over what had happened, it would just make him angry again.

He wanted her on top of him, and it wasn't like Ian to not get what he wanted, but for some reason, he couldn't find the ability to make her do it. It was a strange feeling.

. . . . .

Jenson wanted to nod when he thought that she had a lot on her mind. She always did. It came with the territory and the leadership. And it surely came when she could hear every thought in someone's head whithin a mile of her. She got headaches often, but she didn't have one now, so she was content.

When they reached the house, she decided that they were in need of some food so she went into the kitchen. She retieved a large pot out of the cabinet and filled it with water then set it on the stove to boil. She grabbed some stiff noodles from the pantry and opened the package to let them fall into the water.

She went to the refrigerator and pulled out a package of hamburger meat and got tomato sauce also out of the pantry. She got a skillet out and turned on the heat of another burner, letting the meat fall into the skillet to be cooked.

Her stomach was already growling so she could only imagine how the rest of her pack felt. She basically skipped back towards the fridge, trying to get herself in a good mood and opened up the freezer. She put the garlic bread aside to defrost some and preheated the oven then went back over to the stove to stir.

. . . . .

"Right.." Ace chuckled with her. He should have remembered that touching her was not one of her favorite things. It seemed, sometimes, that he just could not help it. He wanted to be close to her, but she wasn't one for closeness. It was quite contradicting.

He listened to the story, one he had been told before, but it was lost in the back of his mind until Oren brought it back forward. He could feel how she felt and his eyebrows lowered sympathetically. He wanted to hug her, but that was probably not a good idea.

His mind nagged at him from the emotions upstairs. "Oh, God." He murmered, holding his head. He didn't want to be in this castle anymore. He went back up to his room quickly and found his umbrella, changing into a long sleeved navy sweater with his fingerless gloves and long baggy jeans. He went back down to call down to Oren. "I'm going outside...if you want to take a walk with me." As he headed out the door he figured that she would most likely decline since she had busy work to take care of and she needed to hold the fort down since Ian never did.

Thinking of him again he shuddered and tried to get away even faster, but he couldn't help checking behind him to see if she would follow.

Oren grabbed her trench coat to go out and stepped after Ace, seeming a little amused.
"Oh Lord...let me guess. Ian is at it again? I see some things never change." she remarked, rolling her dark grey eyes as she walked.
"Same Ian, different harem I suppose. He's always been a bit like a kid in a candy shop....and they all go along with it too. I'm sure it can't be his charming personality....or perhaps they haven't seen him when he's pissed off yet." she added.

She was well acquainted with Ian and his mood swings. He could very quickly go from charming romantic to abusive dick in sixty seconds...something that often corresponded to Hayley entering the room. She couldn't help but wonder why on earth the redhead still stuck around, as she'd pretty much made a living out of getting kicked around and humiliated by the leader. Still, couldn't account for taste, she supposed

"I'll walk for a but, though I have to get down to some work pretty soon, but then again Ian's hardly going to catch me slacking off if he's busy with one of the harem. He's practically the king of slacking off. I was going to tell you about what happened with me and Cray anyway...well...it was apparently pretty bad. Fortunately we had a healer at had who managed to do some major patching up work done. I can't tell you how surprised I was though, when I opened my eyes and found out Ian had been crying. I always sort of assumed if I died he'd just have me taxidermied and put in his room to throw darts at or something." she jokedd, shrugging her shoulders.

"Guess even King Asshat has feelings sometimes. Well, feelings beyond his usual two settings, 'angry' and 'horny'."

Ace kicked a rock and grinned when he saw that Oren was joining him. He waited for her to catch up and reluctantly nodded when she asked about Ian.

"Nothing is really happening, I don't think because I can feel when it is just lust...but I know he is, ugh, horny." He shuddered. He hated that he could feel emotions sometimes, especially if they were emotions he did not like, which was most of the time.

"Maybe she has, I'm not really sure. The two of us have just arrived, so we will have to see, I guess." He thought about when Jackson had been around. They needed a healer again, but he had disappeared so they were left without someone to fix someone who was broken.

He raised his eyebrows at her, he had heard that he had cried about it, but the idea still startled him. He could not see Ian crying over anyone, especially Oren. The two used to be neck and neck all the time. He laughed when she mentioned the dart throwing. It sounded like something he may do, but apparently not with her...maybe with someone he truly hated. Like Cray.

"I can assure you that he has other feelings...they just never surface. He wants to keep the tough guy, intimidating act up, but he does care...sometimes. Like right now, that little red headed chick...he doesn't want to take advantage of her. Now does that sound like anything Ian would ever feel in this lifetime or the next?" He questioned.

Stacy looked around the area before moving to another spot, jumping of the building she walked into the forest. She had to fully search the forest, just in case the vamps were hiding out and waiting somewhere she would be ready for them. She slowly began to be swallowed in by the darkness of the forest. Her breathing was calm and concentrating and her eyes scammed across, up and down every single tree. She thought if she were higher then she had a better chance in looking for some vamps. Climbing up the tree she jumped on a branch and continued to look around the area before moving to some more trees. Sighing as she found no one she continued into the forest hearing a couple of animals from down under. She would eat after she was done searching through the forest. She winced as her hand was pierced by some metal object, she held the object and slowly pulled it out of her hand, continuing on.

It seemed like hours since she was searching the forest, she decided that she would go back and rest for a while. Jumping back down on the ground she walked the opposite way she was heading towards. When it seemed like a couple minutes of walking she was almost out of the forest. She brushed her hair of her shoulders as she was walking, fixing her hair piece he had on it. Finally out of the forest she walked towards her home, walking past a few people exiting and entering as she did.

"I can assure you that he has other feelings...they just never surface. He wants to keep the tough guy, intimidating act up, but he does care...sometimes. Like right now, that little red headed chick...he doesn't want to take advantage of her. Now does that sound like anything Ian would ever feel in this lifetime or the next?" Jadis heard this voices from just a bit away from the forests, more near the desert-like wasteland which was the vampires domains. She lightly hopped out of a bush and onto the open forest ground, listening intently. She wasn't sure if she could recognize the last voice, but the other voice she had. It was the voice of a familiar know-it-all, Oren. Out of all the other beings of the darkness, Oren was the only who had half as much speed as she did. Still, most that 'speed' was put into her brain, for solving problems to pointless issues, usually for Ian.

The Werewolves aren't the only dogs around here.... She couldn't help thinking as the voices got nearer. She started bounding that way, still feeling nosy and provocative. And a bit curious as to whom the unfamiliar male voice was. As she neared, Jadis started building up her mental shields, just in case this unknown man had some ability that could hinder her, in case she needed to escape quickly. At the edge of the forest, where they apparently were near, she leaped into a tree. It sagged a bit with her weight, it only being a simple, thin wooded tree.

"Zdravstvuĭte, damy Oren," Jadis greeted Oren in Russian, knowing fully well the egg-head was Ukrainian. The blonde vampire smiled slightly sadistically, but sweetly for anyone who didn't know her.

"Ian...not wanting to take advantage of someone?" Oren asked, raising an eyebrow skeptically at Ace's claim.

"Are you sure that little trick of yours isn't acting up? It's hard to really imagine him actually have some kind of sense of integrity. I've seen the sort of escapades that he'd been up to for years. Maybe he;s changes while I've been away...but still...Ian lives for having women falling at his feet all the time."

She shrugged.
"Even hidden depths are a bit of a stretch with him. Anyway, by the smell of the place it seems he's got a whole load of new vamps around the place. Seems like he's had a great big clear out round the place. I wish I could say I look forwards to meeting them, but I don't tend to get along with most vamps. Too damn hedonistic, self-centred, self-satisfying. Guess the lifestyle makes them that way, I don't know....but it all gets rather boring after a while. You know, bugging The Bank of Ian for money, spending it on things, partying...it tires me. I suppose it may be an upbringing thing. Never did have very much growing up. Never came to expect much now."

She hesitated as they were joined by another, and Oren stopped in her progress, putting her hands in her pockets and glancing round.
"Hm. A Russian. That takes me back to the siege of Budapest. Soviet firing squads are very unsympathetic, but had surprisingly easily broken necks." she remarked, seeming unconcerned.
"Now seeing as you appear to be...in a tree I have to ask whether this is a social visit or whether you're planning to throw acorns at us or something."

The wind picked up a little as the black-clad vampire laid in the tree, still slightly slump. She picked a few acorns from its branches and tossed them at the two down below, making little 'pew pew' noises as she tossed each. They lightly bounced off Oren and Ace's shoulders, then onto the ground. Jadis' smile never left her face.

"A small reenactment of the Russians destroying the lives of those Hungarians and Germans as they seized the small town," Jadis sung, jumping down from the tree lightly, a few paces away from them. Her white hair flowing upward and twirling in the movement. "It's best to be in the trees in the dogs territory, makes it harder for them to get you," She giggled a bit. "I'm Jadis, the messenger of your clan. I don't believe we've been formally introduced yet. Need any messages to be sent of received?" Her smile was more narrow now, a bit smug in effort. It just came naturally to her face as she introduced herself. She raised a hand to them both for a 'friendly shake'.
