Filarion Keavaris's Story

Barynn laughed softly at the way that Luther looked pointedly at Rylie. There was definitely a story there, though she wouldn't yet ask what it was. She, too, finished up the slice of pie in front of her, giggling as Penelo refused to let him clean his dish. She sat quietly, a smile on her lips as she waited to leave with Luther. She intended, of course, to thank Penelo for everything before leaving, but not while the older dwarven woman was busy washing dishes.

When Penelo was done she came back and looked at the two smiling big and shook her head. "You two look so cute." She said before going over and hugging Luther before Barynn. "Weren't you two going exploring?" She asked and Luther nodded before getting up and walked to the door. "Yes, we do. Barynn says we have lots to explore, so I am excited. We are going to be looking for stones too." He said and Penelo oh'ed at them. "They have lovely stones there. I use them in my jewelry." She said.

Later on that day Fabian had reached the islands and was about to reach the village when he felt a sharp pain at the side of his head. Roshia had been walking to the village with Rowan and the kids when she saw him. He turned to fight off his attacker when he saw it was Roshia and cursed under his breath, knowing this shit was going to go out of hand. Meanwhile, Bo was having a confusion, she didn't know if she should be cheering or melting... so she did both. Arrow, on the other hand, was admiring all the hair. "Ros-" he was ducking and jumping back, stopping some of her hits. "Wait! I am not..." He was getting annoyed and went to put her in a headlock but she had flung him. Arrow clapped and Bo giggled. Fabian growled, pissed now, they ran at each other and he grabbed her by the neck, slamming her down into the ground. She let out a loud gasps and the babies were about to cry but Roshia had him on his back, swinging at his face and landing a few of her punches before her father pulled Roshia off of him.

"Roshia! Let the damn man speak." He growled and she growled right back.

"Why the fuck are you letting him on the fucking land? Are you that fucking old that you don't remember what YOUR brother did to Lor? Do I have to refre-" She was interrupted.

"ENOUGH!" Her father yelled. The babies even froze. "He has written beforehand, he means no harm and he had no part in what happened to Lorelei. I will not fault him, like I do not fault Dol, for his father's sins. Now leave him the hell alone, child." He growled. Roshia huffed at her father before going over to Rowan and taking her babies. "Let's go." She said and headed for her mother's.

Filarion walked with Fabian to the ranch and Nasir was out to join them, "What is he doing here, father? And looks like someone got to him." He smirked.

His father sighed, "Roshia got to him... but we have written for a while now and he decided he wants to be closer to Dol... though those two have their own differences to settle... but he had nothing to do with Lor and shouldn't be treated that way. It is a good time as any, since Bel has quit over here, that maybe Ofelia could hire him?" He asked.

Nasir looked at the two carefully before sighing, "Ofelia! Babe.... we need you over here!" He called out.

Rowan was walking along with his wife when she suddenly sprang into action and attacked some random tall blonde man. He just kind of blinked and watched them go at it. He knew very well that this man was not going to win against his wife, she would kill him before that happened. But that would probably be its own mess. Her father came and broke things up and Rowan settled the babies down as Roshia came back. "Well. That was interesting..." He said as they started to walk away.

Ofelia was trying to figure out how she was going to juggle four, soon to be five children, and the ranch now that Bel had quit. Tilly had slapped Rylie over it to which Ofelia was not expecting out of her even a little bit. She was in the midst of panicking slightly when Nasir said that he needed her. She got up, and walked over. Luckily Jane had stopped by and had the kids in the house so she was free for a moment. She walked up and saw Nasir with his father and another man that she didnt know. "Hey, what did you need?" She asked softly.

Nasir smiled, "My cousin seems to be moving here..." He said and looked at his father. "He will be staying in Elwin's old house," Filarion said. "And they were wondering since they know about Bel quitting if you would be willing to hire him. Oh his name is Fabian and this here tiny woman is my wife... we have a shit ton of kids somewhere... Jane probably has them in the house." He said. Fabian smiled, "Hello ma'am... please... ignore all of this." He said and moved his hand over his face. "Roshia just hates everyone that is not Dol and that has come from my father... oh and maybe Codon..." He said with a small chuckle.

Nasir rolled his eyes, "He is skilled in farming, mostly fighting. We were with each other at war... though last I recall your father got hit pretty hard... he's dead yet?" Nasir asked Fabian.

"Nah the old bastard is still kicking, sadly. I haven't seen him since we left the war, but the sibs keep me updated. They also don't seem so happy about me being here... especially my mother... but..." He shrugged and smirked.

Ofelia looked between the men, who made her look like an absolute fucking dwarf with all of their tall selves, as they talked. She nodded a little bit. "Well...Im gonna have to replace Bel as soon as possible...So if you think he can do the work and get along with th-" Suddenly Aspen had swooped down and knocked the man over and bared his teeth at he pinned him down. "Aspen! Oh my god. get off of him you big idiot..." She said and thumped the dragon on the noggin. Aspen just did a little dragon laugh and licked all over the mans face before hopping off of him and putting his head on top of Ofelia's. "The dragons are...Well...A handful as you can tell...But if you think you can handle it...And the other ranch hands..Then I am willing to give you a shot at least." She said.

Fabian was tackled to the ground by a dragon, for a split second he was scared before he almost punched the damn thing in the face, but it started to lick his face and Fabian sighed. He was getting really tired of this shit today, but he smiled and got back up. "Yeah, if I can deal with Roshia, I can deal with lizard children." He said and patted the dragon on the head. "Imma steal all his female dragons. They all gonna love me more." He chuckled, removing his hand before it would get bit off. "I have dealt with some while traveling... so I know a bit..." He said and looked down at her. "Are you a full elf?" He asked.

Ofelia nodded. "Well, I guess thats true. Theyre pretty easy to get used to. You'll mainly just be feeding and exercising them, cleaning out enclosures and fixing fences. We have our own vet here so, you wont have to worry about any medical stuff with them." She said softly and raised an eyebrow when he said he'd dealt with them while traveling. Then she glared a little bit. "Yes. I know, Im short for a full blooded elf. I get that a lot." She said and leaned against her husband.

Fabian chuckled, "It is just uncommon to see full blood elves so... adorably tiny, that's all. Nas, my dear cousin... how you manage to get her I am impressed. You must show me your ways. There are a lot... of tiny people... here." He said and looked over to see a tiny boy woman walking. "That is a tiny boy woman... hot damn... working here should be fun." He said just as Rylie walked up. "We have a dragon that won't stop trying to attack the others," He said and eyed Fabian before looking back at Ofelia. "I have tried to get him calm down, somehow I did manage him to get in a pin by himself, but he keeps acting up and I have a feeling he is going to..." He didn't get a chance to finish as he saw the dragon running straight for them.

Ofelia sighed a little bit. "Thats Tilly, she's our vet. Please dont call her a boy woman to her face...I mean she wont care but still.." She said and then looked at Rylie. Ofelia sighed a little bit and then blinked when the dragon was unning straight for them. Aspen was there with her spear in a matter of seconds and Ofelia grabbed it and Ran at the Dragon, pointing the spear at it, which made it stop and just snarl at it. She said an order in old Elvish and then dragon bowed its head down. Ofelia called Tilly over and she ran over. The dragon snarled at it, but apparently Tilly's mood was far worse and the look she gave the dragon made him lower his head even more. She got up close and opened his mouth and she looked for about three seconds and pretty much climbed inside its mouth and then yanked a sharp spike from another dragon the size of her arm right out of its mouth before stepping away with it. "Got it..." She said and dropped the spike and flung dragon drool off her arm. Ofelia sighed as the dragon just kind of fell over, feeling much better apparently. "Uhhh...Go ahead and castrate him today too...Just to make sure he stays mellow..." Ofelia said and then walked back to the group. "Gladly..." Tilly said and walked off, taking the dragon with her. "Well...That was Tilly, This is Rylie..." She said, motioning to Rylie. "And this is Fabian. He will be working with you from now on." She explained.

Fabian watched the commotion and leaned over towards his cousin, "Your little lady friend is hot, how is she in bed?" He asked with a smirk. Nasir leaned in too and smirked, "Fucking ask that again and I will cut your damn tongue out." He said. Filarion sighed before walking away. He did his job and now he had his own business to tend to. Like trying to fix his relationship with Roshia. Nasir watched his father walk away before looking back at Fabian, "You know, you could drop the fuckboy act right? I get Dol was a cunt to you, but you don't need to act like you don't give a shit... and try not to be one around Tilly, she has had a shit day today." He said before Ofelia came back. He and Rylie waved to each other, "Sounds cool..." He said and bent down to look at her, "If you need me to beat up Nas for you, just let me know." He said and winked before smiling and standing back up.

Nasir scuffed, "We both are equal in fighting, Fab... just so you know... I would go get Ros if that was the case." He said and smirked. "Alright I miss my babies, oh wait... you want to come meet them?" He asked Fabian and he just shook his head. "Do I look like I should be around kids? Do I look like a kids person? I might accidentally teach them shit they shouldn't then your small elf wife would kill me. No time for that when I have women and men to please." He smirked. Rylie rolled his eyes, "Come on... I will show you around." He sighed.

Ofelia blinked when he bent down. "Id I need his ass kicked, i'll do it myself." She whispered back and then shook her head at all of them. She raised an eyebrow at the kid thing and then sighed and looked around, Tilly was already out of sight. "God damnit. Will one of you tell Tilly her certification papers are in the house...? Preferably Fabian...I dont need you getting slapped a second time Rylie..." She said and then shook her head before walking into the house with Nasir. She looked at Jane who was on the floor covered by Alois, Sirus, Meri and Lir all at once while Avery just kind of watched from his spot on the couch. "Jesus you guys..." She said and then blinked. "Do we need to keep him away from Jane..?" She asked Nasir quietly.

Rylie waved a dismissive hand and went find Tilly, all while showing Fabian the ropes and where things were. When he found her he told Fabian to go in and he damn well did. He walked up to her, "Miss Tilly?" He asked. She was a tiny woman too, he loved it. Though she was a tad different than he normally had seen. A boy face with a womanly body, he was down for a night or two with that. "Ofelia said your certification papers are in the house. Also you have a lovely boy face... she didn't say that though, that's from me." He said and winked before walking out. Rylie could be heard groaning, "Should have just kept my mouth shut." Before walking away with Fabian.

Nasir looked over at Ofelia and shook his head, "Nahh Sirus will repel him." He laughed before going over and grabbing all of them at once. "Ugh I love all my kids... wait... Sirus... nah I am gonna keep you forever." He chuckled and loved on them. Meri squealed before patting Sirus head, kind of like welcoming him to the family.

Tilly looked up from what she was doing, which was knocking a dragon out in the extra barn and getting it tied up so she could sever its berries while it was down. She raised an eyebrow at the man who walked in. "Yeah..?" She asked and then he told her and she nodded. "Thanks for telling me." She said and then just blinked. It wasnt the first time someone had said she had a boy face, this time the word lovely was in front of it though. He walked out and she shrugged and went back to work.

Ofelia nodded. "Oh good. I hear shes got a man anyways." She said and smirked a little bit to which Jane just rolled her eyes and got up. "Speaking of that. I gotta go. I have a date with Vaylor. I will be back to pick him up before bed time, probably." She said and Ofelia nodded and watched her kiss Sirus' head and love on all the kids, including Avery who kind of just let it happen, before walking out and leaving. "Ooh you let her love on you." Ofelia said to Avery who huffed. "Yeah? So what..." He said and looked away. Ofelia looked at Nasir with a smirk on her face.

Lorelei all but punched Istrain, "She did it because she didn't want you to fucking worry and fuck up a long trip with UNA and so two could focus on you two's brother-n-law. Haera took her OWN fucking burden so you two could fucking go on without a hitched. So Yora didn't have shit to worry about and this... yeah you have no fucking right to be pissed. You have no rights for shit. You can't make up for this shit... you not only raped her but got her pregnant because you wanted to prove a fucking point. Should I just fucking dismiss what James and fucking Birger did? No?! Okay then. You people and your double stand-" She was stopped when she saw Haera come over and looked at the kid. "Take the fucking kid, Una." She growled. Lorelei looked at her sister, she looked like herself. Luther walked up and so did her father and brother. "I blame myself for letting you fucking do what you did, because it broke my fucking heart that you did... what you did. All because of fucking Yora... and your stupid fucking need to make up for a fucking fight. I beat the shit out of my own fucking best friend! I beat the shit out of James... and you think... you think you are ANY fucking different than them? Birger, snapped out of broken heart because Yora couldn't fucking keep her lips closed and just fucking stay loyal. Did she deserve what he did? NEVER!" She spat, beyond pissed. "I was going to take him to fucking jail my damn self but Yora just wanted things to be as they were... so I made sure he was off the island for HER sake. I FUCKING MADE MY BEST FUCKING FRIEND LEAVE!" She yelled.

"When I fucking needed him the fucking most. Your family's fucking double standards are SHIT." She hissed. She could have outed Una, but she didn't because she was above that. "Now I am fucking pregnant with TWINS because you wanted to be a piece of shit ass person. Do you fucking honestly think they deserve a father like you? Who the only reason why they were even created was because you fucking had to prove a goddamn point about Yora. This is why I said you were better fucking your sisters than ever fucking being in a relationship. If fucking Yora got pregnant by fucking Birger or James... would you fucking honestly let them be in its life?" She was beyond pissed, but the nausea was getting to her and she had to stop and turn away, walking behind Nasir to recollect herself. Lorelei went up to her, "You really think you should be talking to him? This is going to put stress on the babies." She said softly. Haera nodded, "I am fine..." She said softly before going back. "Until you can fucking forgive Birger, at least, for what he did... you have no right being here." She said and walked back off to her mother's house. Lorelei in tow. Nasir and his father stood there. "We advise you to go." Her father said with a shake of his head and walked off. Nasir stood there, "we thought better of you, Istrain. I have never seen that girl love so much... if your family even remotely doubted her... that makes me sick." He said and looked at Luther who shook his head.

"I have to go... there is bound to be a shit show with Barynn." He sighed and walked off.

"But Hae makes a point... if you could say Birger had a right to see his kid, maybe not James... no one really cares for him and we weren't too happy about Lor hanging with him... but if you could forgive at least him... I think she could forgive you too, maybe not trust... but... she would let you see the kids at least. I am only saying this because you have nads coming here, knowing full well you could have died... and because as a father, I know mistakes can be made... whoever thought it was okay to use a child as a shield though... maybe needs to reflect on themselves... and find a better strategy on a shield. Horrible war move." He said and looked back. "The fact she thought about YOUR family before herself... says something. Luther said something about someone thinking she was cheating on you? I hope I never meet them. To suggest such a think... now that ticks me off. You couldn't even call it what it was... and that is what pushed my father over the edge. You fucked up and you might have lost her, but you can still at least fight for the kids. That has got to be something, right?" He asked before sighing.

Unarelle was starting to feel sick again as Lorelei got mad at Istrain. She heard Haera tell her to take Danonte but she wasn't sure she could, and partway through Haera talking she ended up darting off into the woods because she knew she was going to be sick, leaving Istrain alone with Danonte and Haera and her family. She hated the way they were ganging up on him and she wanted to be there for him, but she also wasn't about to go throwing up in front of them. It wasn't like any of them would care that all the stress of everything going on was making her sick.

Istrain frowned as Haera talked, but she left before he could answer. Once her father left and Luther was gone too, Istrain looked towards Nasir, frowning. "Of course Birger or James should be able to see their kid if either of them knocked up Yora. That's not even a question. We've got a brother back home who's fighting his ex-wife to let him see the kids and it's absolute bullshit since he's done nothing wrong. No dad deserves to go through what he's going through, even if they're an asshole - as long as they're not a danger to the kid, of course, and I don't think Yora would be too happy about it - but, then again, everyone knows what a great dad James is," he said, shaking his head a bit. "And I don't think Una brought Danny here to use as a shield, I think her reasoning was that Hae seeing me with a kid might make her realize that I'm good with them. I don't know. Una doesn't talk, nobody knows her reasoning for much of anything. And what the fuck does Luther mean, someone thought Haera was cheating on me?" he asked, shaking his head and pausing.

"I don't know how Luther seems to think he knows any of what my family and I discussed, but my brother Cherono - the one who was taken hostage by that fucking psychopath Dex - suggested that Haera wasn't alone in the tavern when we were talking, but he didn't mean that he thought she was fucking cheating on me, he meant maybe someone took her hostage and was forcing her to break up with me. And I know fucking neither of those things would happen because it's Haera and she would never cheat on someone, and she would never let someone take her fucking hostage. Of course I came here knowing fully well I might die, because I love Haera more than fucking anything and I'd rather die trying to get her back than have to go on without her." His voice cracked towards the end and he looked away. He hated to admit it because he'd always thought of love as something of a weakness, but he did love Haera more than anything and he couldn't stand the thought of not being with her. Just having been with her for the months he had, he had stopped being able to imagine life without her.

Agis sighed and looked at her, "You don't call my brother dad?" He asked and blinked before shrugging and army crawling out from under Titan. "You know, maybe your mom can find you a small furry dragon that can sleep in your bed. I don't know, but that sounds cool. My dad isn't all that fond of dragons, because a mean one got loose and attacked Bel on our property... but then he let my big sister, Ros, have one. But he is nice and very protective." He smiled and patted the dog's head. His dad came over and smiled. "Well well well... finally getting to meet the famous Gracie. It is nice to meet you. I am guessing some of the others are there at the house too?" He asked. Agis smiled and nodded. "Nas is there with grumpy Lir and a hyper Meri." He smiled. Filarion nodded, "sounds good. Where are you two going?" He asked.

Agis looked at Gracie. "I don't know... whereever the wind takes us?" He said and they just stared at each other before sighing. "Okay, but keep her safe, Agis." He said and Agis smiled. "Okay!"

His father smiled and patted the two kids on their head. "You two have fun. Be careful." He said. "Gracie, stop by anytime you want." He said before walking off.

Grace sighed. "I dont know if i should. I mean, i know hes not my real dad, my mom said he wont ever be around and stuff like that. Alois calls him dad, but Avery doesnt and theyre adopted so i just wasnt sure if i should or not." She said and then shrugged. "Maybe she can find one." She said and then looked at the man who came over and smiled up at him. "Its nice to meet you too!" SHe said and then looked at Agis when he asked where they were going and nodded at what he said. "So where do you want to go? Outside of the ranch im not too familiar with things over here yet. " She said, looking around a little bit.
