In the picture is work clothes and when he is going to the mainland he has a brown suit with a green scarf, so not much different than his work clothes.

Personality:
Nasir is much like his father in that he is more quiet than talkative and he likes to talk with his facial expressions. He is a very stubborn man like his mother and likes to do things a certain way. He is intelligent and disciplined. He is focused and serious most of the time, but can work up to a smirk, smile, or laugh.

Family:
  • Father- Filarion Keavaris
  • Mother- Penelo Keavaris
  • Sibling 1- Ameria Keavaris
  • Sibling 2- Haera Keavaris
  • Sibling 3- Elwin Keavaris
  • Sibling 4- Roshia Keavaris
  • Sibling 5- Beluar Keavaris
  • Sibling 6- Lorelei Keavaris
  • Sibling 7- Agis Keavaris

History:
Nasir Keavaris was the first born child to Filarion and Penelo, but wasn't born alone. He was the first born, not to just the family, but in a pair of twins. His twin being his sister, Ameria. They are fraternal twins. His parents say that even at birth, Nasir had a serious look on his face.

As a kid, Nasir always had to have something to fiddle with, whether it was a bug, stick, or a part if machinery. As he got a bit older his father gave him a set of toys that he could build himself. In a mere few hours Nasir had finished, not only making them, but making them in a way that was different that what it was originally suppose to be. Nasir and Ameria were close, like most twins are. They always played together, even when the others started to be born, he always stuck by Ameria. Though when they started to get older, Ameria started to court guys, which threw Nasir into being more closed off. In a way he felt betrayed, who was he going to talk to now? He loves his family, even if he loved Ameria more. Though now somehow Roshia has wormed her way passed his wall.

Nasir works as a blacksmith and carpenter on his family land. He makes the family's hunting gear and weapons, though he also sells his creations on the mainland. Many people far and wide come just for his craftsmanship. On each of his creations is some artwork he has carved into them to give them an extra flare.

"Oh thats good then, I'll definitely have to get some more from you in the future then" Ofelia said to Lorelei. SHe was very happy that she would have some ointment to help her dragons along with minor injuries. She giggled when Lorelei made a joke about how often her family members get injured, but then she turned back to Nasir when he began speaking. She nodded after he spoke and said "Ok thanks, that should do just fine."

SHe listened as Lorelei spoke next, she couldnt contain herself when Lorelei stated that Nasir actually smiled once upon a time. "Him? Smile? I dont think ive seen him do that yet" She smirked. She listened as Nasir explained he was going to be making a pendant for his sister. "Well that's nice of you to make something for your sister, I wish I had a brother like you" Ofelia said, her voice getting softer at the second part of her sentence. "A week or two if fine, I'll just move the table from the house out to the hatchery until then, its not like i really use it at home anyways." She said next looking at the door. "Well it was nice meeting you, I look forward to seeing what you can do with the scales and such" She said with a smile. "But I guess I need to get back to the dragon and make sure he's behaving. I'll have the scale and stuff ready for you later tonight, but you can stop by any time, If im not home just walk right in, the basket will be in the kitchen on the counter." Ofelia stated and then waited for Nasir to show her back to the edge of the village.

Lorelei smiled and waved, "Bye! Can't wait to see you again. Remember to bandage your wounds after applying the medicine."

Nasir let her walk out the door first before following and leading her back to her dragon. Sorry about that. I just... the whole making a sibling thing. I mean it is normal here, but I don't know how people do... family things outside of the village. He rubbed the back of his neck, looking straight ahead. The sun was bright and a little hot, bit he didn't mind it. It was a nice day, bit today just seemed weird.

They were approaching her dragon when he saw red hair bouncing along, apparently he got the dragon to sway with him. Having fun? He asked looking down at the young one. Agis froze and slowly turned before nodding.

He looked from him to Ofelia, "thank you for letting me watch him." He quickly turned back to the dragon, giving him a pat, before running off. Seriously got to ask him why he is so scared of me.

"I wont forget!" Ofelia said before the door to Lorelei's house closed, she walked with Nasir, the hot sun beating down on her and she was definitely feeling it. She walked for a minute, then stumbled, suddenly losing her balance. She regained her composure as Nasir began to speak. "Its alright, I wouldnt really know how families do things since i dont have sibling, it was just my dad and I on the ranch" She said when they back to the dragon Ofelia giggled as she watched Fleurdon playing with Agis. "Thank you for watching him for me, you can come play with him whenever you want ok? Just ask your dad first and make sure im home ok" She hopped onto fleurdon and patted him, telling him he was such a good boy with Agis. "Thanks for getting me bandaged up, I'll probably come over in a couple days to see what Lorelei comes up with" She said to Nasir. "And I'll bring another dragon for you to play with Agis!" She said to the child and winked. She then took off into the sky with Fleurdon and flew back towards her property.

Nasir waved goodbye to her before turning back towards the tree, his ax waiting for him. He looked up just in time to see Roshia watching him. He gave her a small smile before going to work on the tree.

Elwin had just got to their property when he saw the blonde girl on her dragon in the sky. Wonder what that was all about. Going to have to ask Roshia. He decided he was going to stop by her house and visit before going to his own home and continue working on that difficult dress. A groan escaped his lips as he thought about it. The woman who wanted it was high class and royally stupid. He knew he shouldn't have taken on this project, but what done was done.

He walked up to Roshia's house and saw Nasir chopping up a tree. Elwin stood there, watching him for a moment. Nasir's sleeves were rolled up and his vest was off on the side. His scarf seemed to be missing and his shirt was unbutton down to the middle. Elwin rolled his eyes just in time for Nasir to look up at him. Nasir's cheeks were red and sweat ran down his face. Elwin, embarrassed, hurried into Roshia's house.

She was at the window facing Nasir. "Have you been watching him this whole time?" He asked, walking up beside her and watching Nasir going back to chopping his wood.

"Not entirely, no. I have nothing better to do anyway, so why not watch the show right in front of me?" She asked him back, smiling up at him. Elwin didn't like where this was headed. He had to get her away from the window.

"Well lucky for you I can be your entertainment now." He smiled and grabbed her hand, leading her to her living room and plopping her down in a chair before taking his seat. She gave him a jokingly glare. "So I went into town to give Mrs. LaBrem her dress, but she had moved to the other side of town, the one we don't really ever go to. Anyway, I didn't want to go home just yet and smelled this aroma of delicious baked goods and coffee and you know me, I love my coffee. So, I went into this absolutely cute cafe and it was busy. So I am like... he has to be good, right?" Roshia nodded, she was all ears, eyes, and mind on him. Just what he wanted. "Well I get to the counter and this devilishly handsome man is behind the counter. His name is Atlas and he owns the place."

Roshia's eyebrow arched,"Like a book of maps?" She laughed. "Poor guy."

"Shush, this isn't about his name. Where was I... oh yes. So I get two glazed donuts, which were HEAVEN, and don't get me started on how amazing his coffee was. But he actually came sit down in front of me and started to chat. Even let me taste a cookie he was experimenting on. Lemon and Thyme I believe it was. He is so sweet and I think you will love him. You need to get out of this damn village and experience life out beyond this island. The city has lots to do."

Roshia rolled her eyes, "I have no reason to be going into the city, for one. I am glad you made a friend, besides your lady customers or me, but are you sure he wasn't interested in you, El?" She asked him.

"Oh for Heavens no. Someone as handsome as he is not into guys, I can tell you that. This is the perfect guy for you. He doesn't shun me, so you know... you should get along with him." He wasn't going to hope for something that would never happen.

"The guy is a baker... in the city. He is more suited for Ameria than me, but we both know Ameria likes to break things then hand them off to someone else to fix." She scoffed, rolling her eyes at the mention of their eldest sister.

"Well too bad, we are going to be meeting him later on today, well around night time. I told him I would bring you." Elwin said with a devilish smile.

"You did what?" She sat up, her face bluntly angry.

"You can be mad at me all you want." He leaned in closer to her, "I see how you and Nasir have been looking at each other. This isn't healthy. You deserve the best for everything you have done and Nasir is not... well he is our damn brother." He whispered.

Roshia blushed hard and her brows furrowed, "Nothing is going on between us." She hissed. "How could you accuse us of something like that? Like I said before, Ameria likes to break things and hand them over to someone else to fix. Nasir needs to be able to interact with people other than for business. If you were here you would have seen him doing so well with the Taryn girl next to us, the one who raises dragons. I mean..." She laughed, her anger seeming to dissolve some. "He did throw her into a thorn bush."

"Nasir threw her into a thorn bush?" He asked worried.

"Apparently something went down to where she was in danger and Nasir saved her." Roshia said proudly. "Maybe instead of worrying about something that isn't there, you can worry about yourself." She said a bit harshly. He winched. He was rarely at the receiving end of her anger, but when he was Elwin hated it more than anyone could imagine. Roshia was the one who figured out he liked guys before he even did. She even stood up to their father when he tried scolding him about it. Their father who Roshia adored more than anyone. She would beat up bullies who teased and threw rocks at him. He owed her his life. He knew what he saw and he was still determined to get her away from Nasir, as soon as possible.

"Sorry, what happened today sounds incredible, except for the girl being thrown into a thorn bush. Could you please just come with me tonight to see him and you can see for yourself that he is so not into me."

She was silent for a bit, "Why don't you bring him here? You can talk him into making a deal with father, if he doesn't already have one. Then you can introduce him to the family or just me, it is whatever. I have to get up early tomorrow and get some stuff ready for the summer. You know those damn tourist likes to get into everything. So have him come here before they show up and I can prove you that I am right, that he likes you." She smiled.

He sighed, "I can try, but if I am right you have to court him" She made a sour face.

"Fine." Was all she said.

He got up, kissed her forehead, and headed for the door, "I have to finish that god awful dress before I end up giving up completely. You deserve the best, Ros."

"Yeah yeah." She smiled. They waved goodbye before he closed the door. Nasir had two logs in both arms and was walking towards him.

They glanced at each other before walking of in their own directions.

Nasir had finished the pendant. He let the necklace dangle in front of his face. He was happy with the result. The image had been in his mind for some time now, he just didn’t know what to do with it at the time. Taking the prettiest cloth, he had, Nasir wrapped it gently and placed it in his pocket of his vest that was on his bench and left to take a quick bath.

_______________________________TWENTY MINUTES LATER________________________________

He had gotten dressed and checked himself in his mirror. Nasir had no idea why he was so nervous, he was just going give Roshia a necklace as a thank you for being there for him for the past four or five months. He wasn’t the best person, but she kept trying to get him to break out of his shell and he felt like better than he had before Ameria had left.

Heading out the door, he took the back way so no one would see him. He didn’t want questioning eyes on him, especially Elwin. He had been giving him harsh vibes lately. He walked along the trees, trying to figure out how to give her the gift and what to say.

"Roshia, I wanted to give you this because I am so thankful for everything you have done. No, that sounds horrible. Roshia, I want to just thank you for putting up with me, I made you this pendant to show how much I appreciate you.
Maybe I can leave out the to show you how much I appreciate you."
He rambled on what to say till he got to Roshia's door. Nasir stood there for a second before knocking.

It seemed like eternity before she opened the door. Roshia was wearing a white night dress. It was simple, but he thought she looked stunning in it. "Oh, Nasir. You okay?" She asked, worried. Nasir looked down at her, trying to find the words, but before he could she had pulled him into her home and closed the door. Sit, I can make us some tea and you can tell me what is wrong.

"Uh, yeah sure." He waited till she had her back towards him when he took out the cloth with her necklace and held it. She came back and sat down next to him. Her eyes went to his hands. Her expression curious. "Ah yeah, this is why I came. You see... I wanted to thank you for being there for me these past four or five months. I know I haven't been the easiest to be around and I am not liked by a few of the siblings, but you took the time to be with me. And well... here I made this for you today." He handed her the cloth.

She carefully unwrapped it and gasps when she saw it. Her fingertips traced over the art on the pendant. "Nasir, this is gorgeous." She held it up to look at it better. "Thank you so much, this means... a lot to me. Help me put it on?" She opened the necklace and handed it to him. He took it gently from her, their hands touching and she turned, lifting up her hair. Nasir brought the necklace around her necklace, his hands grazing her neck and clamped it. Roshia turned around, her cheeks flushed, "How does it look?"

He stared at her, which made her blush more. "Stunning." She smiled, looking down while touching her necklace.

"Than-" She tried saying while looking up at him. Nasir had cupped her face with one of his hands and leaned in, kissing her.

Elwin nodded, "I fully understand. Sometimes I will get two or three customers who want the same exact dress. Though that probably doesn't even come close to the baking thing." He laughed. "It is peaceful until summer. Summer is when tourist come around and everyone is working like crazy, shockingly even me." Elwin cleared his throat, "Let's head over to my sister's house and give her her drink. I am sure she will be happy." He made his way down the village to the far west of the village. He saw that one of the lights were on. "We are going to just walk in. She is used to it by now." He chuckled. They reached the door and walked in.

Roshia head the door open from her bedroom. She looked at Nasir and whispered to stay silent. She stood, wrapping herself in a sheet and leaned her head out the bedroom door, "El what are you do- and you brought company." She smiled, her hair was all the way down, waterfalling over her shoulder. Her face is slightly flushed.

"What is going on, Ros?" Elwin asked, a little worried. He was looking around the house, trying to find something out of place.

"I was getting changed, glad I wasn't in my living room. Hold on, let me finish." She disappeared into her room, closing the door behind her. She hurried and put on her clothes, whispering to Nasir, "Stay here and don't make a sound. El and his friend is her." Nasir nodded, smiling softly, and sat up in bed.

Elwin and Atlas look at each other. A few moment later she comes out, closing the door behind her. Her dragon came in from the guest room and stared at Atlas before flopping on the floor next to the couch. "Sorry about that boys." She looked over Atlas, "He is devilishly handsome."

Elwin blushed from head to toe, "I... I was just telling her you looked handsome, like her type." He stared at her like what the fuck. She smiled. "Here, Atlas made some tea for you." Roshia grabbed it gently and sipped it.

"Oh my... this is really good. You are great at your job, Book of Maps." She laughed. Elwin stared at her. Something is up with her

Atlas walked with Elwin and he chuckled about the tourists. They got to Elwins sisters home and Elwin opened the door. "You you sure we shouldnt...knock..." Just as he said that a woman appeared wrapped in a sheet. Atlas quickly turned around and faced the door, his face bright red. He turned back around once she came back fully clothed. "S-sorry for the intrusion.." He managed to mumble. He didnt look right at the woman but instead watched her dragon lazily flop onto the floor in front of the couch. He watched it for a moment before Roshia spoke. "He is devilishly handsome." He heard her say. "Oh uhm...Thank you." He said quietly, not yet making eye contact with the woman, but looking in her direction. She complimented his tea and he seemed to perk up. "Thank you, its rose-hips, lavender and honey" He said with a beaming smile.

Elwin blushed and showed him to the room which was on the other side of the house, away from his own. "You have a cat? That's cute. I haven't really had pets, mostly because I am not good with them" He opened the door to a clean guest bedroom. "Here you go. I... I am glad I got to meet you. You are the nicest guy I have met. I will be gone for a few, I have to go next door. If you need anything... just holler out the door." He laughed softly. He said his good night and walked out, heading towards Roshia's.

The light was still on at Roshia's. He looked in her windows and saw no one so he took the time to go in. He heard laughter coming from her room, he recognized her's but couldn't figure out the other's till they started talking. Elwin stood there for a moment before rushing through the door. Roshia and Nasir were in bed, talking like they were husband and wife. "What the hell is going on?!" Elwin was screaming, though he didn't mean to.

Roshia hurried out the bed, they both were dressed. "It isn't what it looks like..."

"I told you this what going to happen. This is..." He was freaking out. Nasir got up and walked over.

"Let's calm down and just talk about this." He said trying to calm everyone down.

"Calm down? You...you both did..." Elwin was looking back and forth from her to Nasir.

Roshia was beginning to cry. "Get out out, Elwin. NOW!" She yelled, but left instead.

Nasir stayed inside as Elwin followed. "This is disgusting. You have to stop this. You can come back. I was trying to save you from this. I saw the signs... I brought Atlas here for you. I can still save you!"

Image

Roshia turned toward him, "Saving?! The only person who ever needed saving was you. Leave me alone...NOW." She turned back to leave when Elwin grabbed her arm to stay. She turned around swinging her fist and hitting Elwin straight in the mouth. He flew back, falling on his butt. "You are so damn unappreciative. Did I ONCE say that you liking guys was DISGUSTING? No, I accepted you with no questions asked. I fought countless people for you! I stood up to father who I adore! Yet you come in MY HOUSE and JUDGE ME."

Elwin was crying now, holding his bloody mouth. She bent down to his eye level, "You are no longer my brother. I want nothing to do with you."

"R-Roshia...no..." He mumbled through tears and pain. Their mother came rushing out. Elwin and Roshia were both crying now.

"What is going on. Elwin why are you bleeding? Roshia what is going on?"

Roshia looked at her mother, anger reading all over her face, "I lost my twin tonight. He is dead." Was all she said before she ran off. Elwin cried out for her.

Roshia had woken up early due to being nervous. She was going to tell Nasir while they walked to the festival. It was a good time because they were going to be alone for some time. She got ready was walking out when saw Nasir standing by her door "Morning Nasir, how did you sleep?" She asked, running her fingers over the necklace he gave her. She always wore it, she still loved him, she just couldn't love him the way she wanted to.

Nasir held out his arm for her and she held it, "I am doing well and yourself? I heard the news that you will be getting married. Congratulations. Rowan is one lucky guy."[/b] He spoke so openly. She loved it. Roshia knew that Nasir and Elwin were hanging out more and she enjoyed knowing so.

"Thank you. I have seen you talking a lot with Ofelia, are you two courting yet?" She asked, looking up at him.

"Not yet, I am waiting on a good time to ask her." He said, looking up at the sky.

They had just gotten out of the village and nearing the lake when she stopped him, "Look Nasir, we have to talk." He looked at her, worried. She took a deep breath, "I am pregnant and I wish I could leave it at that, but...I also slept with Rowan after having a few too many drinks just a few days after you and I don't know who the father is. Rowan suggested we get married. He is willing to take on me and a kid that might not be his, but... I want you in this kid's life. If it looks like you... I want them to know that you are their father. I am so sorry, Nasir. No one can know that we did anything, you know father. I don't want him to disown our kid if it is ours." Nasir listened to her with disturbing her.

"This is hard, Roshia." He walked away from her a little. He didn't know what to do, but he understood what needed to be done. She was starting to tear up. He walked back up to her and lifted her chin, "I understand fully what needs to be done. I will do it, but let them know when they are old enough, that is all I ask."

She smiled, hugging him tightly. "Thank you. You deserve the best of the best." He shook his head, smiling and held out his arm for her to hold. She did so and walked with him the rest of the way.

They got to their father's booth where he was setting up. "My girl, congratulations on the marriage and to Rowan Todd!

People looked at them, some annoyed with the news, "Shh, dad not so loud, but thanks." He was all smiles at the news. She hadn't seen him this happy since Agis' birth.

"well its too warm here for me to keep ice dragons, they tend to overheat and become lethargic, the ones you're thinking of must be the water dragons, they look that way so that the blend into the water when the swim to evade predatory fish. I will have few of those hatching any day now, so if youre set on that breed, you wont have to wait very long to take one home!" Ofelia smiled at him and thanked him again for the drink. A woman working the music a the festival came up and told Ofelia her song wouldbe playing soon and that she needed to get ready. "I guess I'll see you later then about the dragon, good luck with the booth!" She said before walking away and disappearing behind the stage.

A few songs later the announced that fireworks would start soon after the next song. Ofelia stepped out on stage moments later, her nerves steadied by the drink she had moments earlier. The mayor had stepped out too and introduced her as the final musical act before the fireworks. Th mayor stepped off stage and Ofelias music started, she took a deep breath and began singing her Song. She sang effortlessly and beautifully, not once missing a single note, her face staying soft and pretty, without a hint of nervousness in her eyes. She looked graceful and in her element while singing. When her song was over, she bowed as the crown cheered, and just as she left the stage and made her way away from the stage and the crowd of music listeners, the fireworks show began with a large and vibrant firework.

Nasir looked up when the announcements were made and Ofelia stepped on staged. She looked extra pretty tonight in the light. He leaned against a building and listened to her sing. In that moment he forgot everything and focused on her. He loved her voice and was hypnotized. Nasir had no idea she had such a voice in her. When she was done, it took a moment for him to collect himself. Pushing himself off the building he walked up to her, guiding her to an empty spot. It took a moment before he could work up the courage. "Ofelia, I would like to officially court you." He looked down at her, her skin glowing with the fireworks.

Ofelia's heart was still pounding when she left the back area of the stage, the alcohols affects seemed to have worn off and she was shaking again. Nasir walked up to her and guided her away from the busy area full of people. She wondered why they couldnt talk where they were but didnt say anything. She stood there trying to calm her heart before he spoke. His words made her heart pound even harder. No man had ever showed interest in courting her, and she didnt know how to respond. "I-...Uhm...I....." She barely managed to spit out. She swallowed her nerves and said. "I..think that would be okay with me too..." She said softly, not having the courage to look him in the face, instead looking at her hands that were clasped together in front of her, her face flushed pink.

Nasir could tell she was nervous, so he hid his well for her. He could barely hear her but when she said that would be okay with her he smiled. She looked so fragile next to him, that he didn't know what to do. It took him a moment before gently pulling her to him and hugging her. He didn't know if this was a smart move or not, but the poor girl looked like she could use on. "I am glad to hear. You did wonderful up there and looked absolutely stunning."

Ofelia flinched when Nasir pulled her into a hug, she wasnt used to people touching her, let alone hugging her, but she quickly relaxed into the hug. "Thanks.." She mumbled into his chest. "What do we do now..? I dont know how this works....And it seems the festival is over now too.." She said softly, pulling away from him a little.

Nasir blushed, he hadn't thought that far ahead. He looked around and people were leaving or already left. The place got pretty quiet. He had no idea himself what to do next. Reaching out his hand or more like offering it, he asked, "Would it be okay if I walked you home?" He smiled down at her.

Ofelia nodded and took his hand, holding it very gently, her face completely red at this point. She started walking, watching all the booths start to close down. One booth stayed open a little late offering hot chocolate, Ofelia let go of Nasirs hand for a moment and grabbed one for herself and one for Nasir, handing him his when she got back. It was getting mildly chilly, so Ofelia was happy that there was hot cocoa to warm her up just enough. She held her hot chocolate with one hand and held his hand again with the other as they continued to walk back to the ranch.

Nasir felt her tiny hand gently hold his. He was so scared of hurting her that he held her's just as gently. They had walked a ways down when she let go. He wondered of he had done something wrong, but she ran off to get two hot chocolates, handing him one, then holding his hand again. He smirked, "Thank you." Nasir held her hand gentle, but firmly. Her skin was so soft. He never felt like he would break Roshia, she was tall and strong, even looked it, but Ofelia was different. "I am sorry if I am doing something wrong, this is... all new to me. I know we have talked a good bit for a few weeks," He took a sip of his drink, looking up at the stars, "but I am still nervous around you and I am not even close to cute like you are when you get nervous." He chuckled. They had come to the lake and he stopped her. She looked so pretty, the way she glowed in the moonlight. He gently took their empty cups and placed them down on the ground and lifted her chin up slowly. She looked so innocent and pure. Nasir leaned down, kissing her softly.

"Its okay...Its all new to me too..." Ofelia said as she walked along with him. They got to the lake and he took the cups and put them on the ground. Ofelia tilted her head at him when he did. She froze when he lifted her chin and kissed her. She didnt know what to do, it was her fist time ever kissing someone and she was officially beyond nervous. When he pulled away she covered her face, not wanting him to see that she was as red as a tomato. She didnt try to speak, because she knew it would be a mumbly mess of incoherent words.

When Nasir pulled away she covered her face. He tried hard to hide his chuckle as he gently moved her hands. "There is nothing you need to hide from me, you are beautiful, even when you are blushing." Something in him liked seeing her like this. He gently pushed her against the tree, tilting her head up once again. Her pale green eyes shining in the moonlight. Ofelia looked just like Roshia when she was nervous. Innocent. He leaned in again, kissing her once more, his fingertips tracing up her curves.

Ofelias eyes got wide when Nasir pushed her up against the tree and kissed her again, she waited for him to pull away before leaning in again, her lips centimeters away from his. She smirked before slipping away from him and appearing behind him super quickly, tapping his shoulder before he realized that she was behind him. "I might be nervous, but i'm not gonna let it be THAT easy" She teased, her face still flushed. She turned and folded her arms in front of her so that he couldnt see her hands shaking from the nerves. "Could have at least waited till you got me home first...jerk.." She said softly, barely loud enough for him to hear.
