| Name: Talila Celebrimbor | Age: 17 | Gender: Female | Sexuality: Bisexual | Height: 5'2" | Weight: 100 lbs
| Race/Species: Elf | Hair Colour: Medium Brown | Eye Colour: Green
| Skin Colour: Light Tan | Trade: Tree Farmer

Image

ImageAppearance:
Talila is very short for her people and only stands at five feet and two inches tall, unlike her father and mother who stand well into the seven feet range. Along with being short, she is also petite. Her skin is a light sun-kissed tan that gets a bit darker when the sun is out. Her eyes are a melon green and a bit on the large side, which attracts a lot of people's attention. Talila has medium brown hair that goes down to her butt and straight across bangs. She can be seen wearing dresses a lot or rompers or really anything girly.
Image

Personality:
When a lot of people look at her at first glance or when they talk to her for the first time it may seem like she is shy and to herself, but really Talia is outgoing. She loves to talk about her family trade of raising trees and giving people their bearings. She loves to read and laugh and dance. People may find her a bit weird since she likes to talk to the trees she takes care of, but Talia doesn't mind. It makes her happy and she hurts no one while doing so.

Talila has a problem with confrontation, if something is bothering her she won't say and if someone comes up to her screaming and yelling she shuts down. Talila tries her hardest to make people around her happy, even if it costs her her own comfort.

History:
Talila was born in the spring to the parents of Boromir and Fara Celebrimbor. She is the oldest child out of four and is the shortest out of them all. She has two younger brothers and a younger sister, who is the baby. They are all tall and in the seven feet range. As a child, she loved her family business and calls her siblings fruit. She was a happy child and would try hard to make her parents proud since she felt like her being short made them a bit disappointed in her, which wasn't the truth at all. They loved her all the same.

Her mother and father called Talila their little Thumbelina because they were afraid that they couldn't have children since it had been so hard for them to get pregnant in the first place and doctors told them that it was unlikely for them to bore any children of their own. They had prayed and tried and soon would come to find out that they were having a baby. They could care less if she was tiny, she was theirs and alive and healthy. That was all that mattered to them.

Talia was two when her mother had her baby brother, Elsar, and she called him Apple. His cheeks were red as an apple when he was born and so she stuck with that. She loved him dearly and would grow to be quite close to him. At the age of four, her mother had her other baby brother, Morsar, whom she came to call Fig since she had just eaten figs when her mother had him. He turned out to a little troublemaker. Then at the age of eight, her mother had her baby sister, Nolanora, whom she came to call Peach because she had peachy colored cheeks, and she is very much more outgoing than Talia could ever be.

They four kids grew up and are now close, they call her Cherry since it only seemed fair to calla fruit. Despite her height, Talia works hard along with her family and tries her hardest to make it easier on her parents and siblings since she is the oldest child. When she isn't working in the trees she is out in the market selling the fruit that her family has grown.

Elizabeth blinked when Talila said she'd worry about her getting struck by lightning. She doubted it would happen, and was about to say so when Talila asked her about her sailing. She grinned a bit, nodding. "Yes, I sail," she replied. "I grew up in a shipyard and my mother married a ship's captain. He actually named his main ship after me. The Elizabeth. We own a few more ships, too," she explained softly. She giggled a bit at the prospect of ships having clouds attached to them. "I think the clouds you're thinking about are the sails. They're just made of canvas, but I can see why you'd think they look like clouds," she said. Too. Damn. Cute.

Talila blinked, "Oh... that makes a lot more sense than clouds, don't it?" she giggled. "I have never been on a ship, I have been on a dragon countless times. How is it on the water? Ohh I have seen the waves... they can get super big and I have seen my fair share of ship crashes." She frowned. "Or you know... them just disappearing in the water and never coming back up. Those... those are the worse." She said softly.

Elizabeth laughed a little when Talila said that sails made more sense than clouds. When she said that she'd never been on a ship, she blinked in surprise, and then thought about it for a moment when she asked how it was on the water. Before she could figure out an answer, though, Talila commented on ships disappearing under the water and not coming back. Elizabeth nodded. "Those are the worst," she agreed softly. "There was one time we were carrying some cargo and we had to save the crew of a ship that had run into a rocky area... the ship was destroyed. We couldn't save all of their crew, but we managed to get most of them on board. As a sailor, having an accident is basically your worst nightmare," she said, her voice soft. She wasn't sure why she was saying so much to this girl, but maybe it wasn't such a bad thing that Talila could get her to talk.

Talila listened to her and shook her head. Her heart ached when she thought about some of her tourists who had lost family on ships. She had never been in love but she could imagine the worry and hurt in something like this. "I was only ten the first time I saw a ship go underwater and never come up. My father and I didn't even see people bobbing in the water like they usually do in crashes and usually, my father would run to the elf who owns the dragons and they would do a rescue." She said softly. "We have a regular tourist who has lost family to the seas. One woman lost her husband and all her sons... the sea is a gorgeous place, but she is also so deadly." She said softly.

Elizabeth frowned a bit as Talila told her about the first time she saw a ship sink, shaking her head a bit. The view from up on the island probably would give quite the look at what was happening, but it didn't sound like something she wanted to watch. At Talila's last comment, Elizabeth gave a nod. "She is so very, very deadly," she agreed in a soft voice. "That's why you have to be constantly attentive when you're out sailing. You treat her with the utmost respect and bear in mind that at any given time, she can shift and you can be in danger. But she's also beautiful...and captivating, and so loving at times," she said, a fond smile coming to her lips. "I don't sail as much as I used to. My new job keeps me on the land a lot...but I go out to sea whenever I can," she said.

Talila smiled a bit as she talked about it. It was clear the woman loved the sea as she had loved her trees. "I see we have two things we love a whole lot. What is it that you do if you do not sail? I would feel so lost without my trees. When I am in the city I don't feel as grounded and I can just get swept up by the current of people that I end up... drowning." She said softly. "I can swim though, in actual water." She giggled.

Elizabeth smiled a bit when Talila commented that they had two things they loved, comparing her love of the sea to the elf's love of trees. She supposed she could see why it would be a fair comparison. "I'm a knight," she said softly. "I serve the royal family back home. I protect the castle, protect the town, protect the family when they leave the castle...if there was a war I'd be sent to do battle... I miss sailing, but it's an honourable job that pays well, so I can't complain," she said with a light laugh. "And there's a lot of fighting, which is my second favourite thing to do," she added.

Talila listened and blinked, "Oh wow... that... that is a very important job. I know the new king for our kingdom comes here very often. He is really good friends with the elven family on the lake island. Well... they are half-elves, but still." She smiled softly. "I have seen his knights. His best knight is his best friend but he lives here with the dragon lady, the elf who owns the dragons, and he only goes to the kingdom when called upon. There was a way... almost a year ago it started and he went. His wife had found out she was pregnant right after he left. I was praying really hard for him to come back home to his wife. Made fruit sacrifices and everything. He came back and now he went from like one kid to like five or something. I am really happy for them though." She said and smiled softly.

Elizabeth listened while Talila talked about the local king's best knight living on the islands, nodding a bit as she talked. When she said she was happy for the family and smiled, Elizabeth couldn't help but to smile as well. She had such a sweet, infectious little smile. "That's...always a hard thing. Most of these men have families and the last thing you want is for them to leave their wives and children behind, but it's a risk you sign up for when you're knighted," she said softly. She paused, glancing towards the door. "I never had an issue with it myself. I have my mother and stepfather...but now I have Priscilla, and she only has me," she said softly. "The rest of her family is dead. She doesn't have anyone else but the boyfriend...and I'm not so sure about him," she added with a slight shake of her head.

Talila nodded then blinked, "Oh? You don't like him? Why?" She asked before getting up. "You might have to talk a little louder since I am all the way in the kitchen." She joked but started on dinner. If she kept the woman occupied long enough she wouldn't go in the storm or until it was done.

Elizabeth sighed when Talila asked her about her not liking James. She blinked when Talila said she would have to talk louder, smirking a bit. The tiny house was hardly big enough for such inconveniences. "Yesterday Priscilla took me out for lunch with him so I could meet him and there were just...many things that seemed off. Priscilla's only eighteen. She's barely more than a kid, and he's in his thirties. He's much too old for her. He was evasive when I asked about his work, so I suspect it's not entirely legal, or ethical... I don't know. And Priscilla said he could read minds, so apparently I have to be careful what I think around him," she said with a giggle. Why was she being so open with the girl about her thoughts and feelings? Those were usually things she kept to herself, but Talila just...made her feel comfortable sharing.

Talila listened as she started to chop veggies and things. "Well I am seventeen... I think if I was in love I would be... well I would be in love." She laughed softly. "My parents have a good number age gap too. So that seems innocent. I can't comment on his job though... you know... don't know this man. Maybe talk to Priscilla about how you feel, maybe ask her to clear it up on what he actually does. He.. he can read minds? Or can he read people?" She asked and laughed. "There are people who do that and it is super creepy. They might as well read your mind." She shivered as she talked about it before putting things cooking. "Though really if you have concerns it is wise to express them. Maybe he is dangerous or maybe he is actually harmless and big sister mode was activated. I know about that... I have three younger siblings. Though... I would love for Elsar to you know... find someone so I can swoon over them or be big sister protector." She giggled.

Elizabeth blinked in surprise when Talila said that she was seventeen. She'd guessed that the girl was young, but hearing that she was the older sister had made her think that perhaps the girl was older than she looked. She went a bit red, feeling silly for finding herself so drawn to the girl when she was so young. "I don't know if he reads minds or people. I just know that we were laughing and joking and having a great time, and then out of nowhere he got kind of pissy. It was strange. Priscilla asked what I'd been thinking about and when I said I had reservations about him, she said he must have read my mind and known that since everything else had been fine. I doubt he actually reads minds, though," she said with a shake of her head. She smirked a bit when Talila said that she'd love her brother to find someone. "I'd offer up my little sister, but if you're seventeen and you're the oldest, they're definitely too young for her," she said with a shake of her head. "I don't know what big sister mode is like. I grew up as an only child. I only just recently found out about Priscilla, and I'm...trying my best to be a good sister to her. Since, you know, she has no one else," she said softly.

Talila giggled and let her food cook in low heat before sitting. "Okay, lets go over the conversation. Maybe you asked or said something that he is sensitive about. Like... right before he got all... you know pissy... did you say or ask him something?" She asked her before smiling, "Ahh yeah he is fifteen, and the other is thirteen, and the little girl is nine." She smiled softly. "Big sister mode is when you get protective or if they get hurt you become motherly. I have ran across this island and half the lake island so fast to the doctor when my siblings have been sick or hurt. I can get through people faster than my father who would have thrown people." She laughed softly. "I remember Elsar and I were dealing with trying to get a wild animal from our ground fruit and he got seriously hurt and so did I, but you know... I wasn't concerned about me. We got the thing down and dead, poor animal was just so hungry and I know it was it or us... it still hurts to think about. Anywho, so he got seriously injured and so I zoomed across town and to the doctor. Apparently, I had a really bad sprained ankle and my wrist was broken. Also had a gnarly gash on my side. The doctor thought I was crazy. I could have died, but you know... my brother was a lot more important. How could I live with myself without even trying to save him?" She asked before shaking her head. "So big sister mode is being protective and caring, almost like a second mother... at least for me that is." She smiled.

Talila was all kinds of nervous for her date with Lychee. Her mother and younger sister helped her pick out a dress and her mother did her hair and makeup. When she was done getting ready she hurried over to the gate and waited for Lychee. She really liked this woman, though she was way cooler and a bit older. Lychee thought she was mature, but right now she sure felt her age.

Elizabeth somewhat regretted that she'd let Priscilla help her get ready for her date with Talila, but it was too late now to go back. She was dressed in a flowy dress that Priscilla had let her borrow and she'd put a jacket on top of it. It didn't feel like her kind of outfit at all, but Priscilla said it was pretty and that Talila would like it, so she'd trusted her little sister. She'd put her hair back in a plain ponytail and headed for the orchard, her heart racing. She still thought this was going to crash and burn, but she also wanted to give it a chance. Talila was a lovely girl - friendly, generous, passionate, adorable... if Elizabeth could somehow make this work, Talila was going to be quite the catch.

Talila has been playing with the wall when she heard walking and looked over to see Lychee walking towards her and smiled. "Hey," she said softly before blinking at the outfit. The dress was pretty and she wasn't expecting her to wear it, but she looked so trapped. "Hmm... you look trapped." She said softly as she walked up to the woman. Gently she took the belt off, her hands sliding up and started to take her jacket off too.

Elizabeth smiled when Talila greeted her. "Hey," she said to the small girl. She blinked when she called her trapped, watching her remove the belt. She took a small step back when Talila went to take the jacket off of her. "Hey, hey, the jacket's the only part of this outfit I actually picked myself," she teased with a light laugh and a smile.

Talila blinked and stopped before backing up, "I'm sorry... you still look real nice. Didn't think you would wear a dress, but you look lovely. Shall we go before I make you twirl around and look super girly?" She giggled.

Elizabeth laughed at her words, shaking her head. "You ask me to twirl and I'm gone, date over," she said in a teasing voice. She probably wouldn't actually leave the date if Talila asked her something like that, but she would definitely oppose it vehemently. "I didn't think I would wear a dress either but my sister insisted I had to. It's one of hers. It's a bit long," she said, kicking her feet a bit.
