| Race/Species: Elf | Hair Colour: Medium Brown | Eye Colour: Green
| Skin Colour: Light Tan | Trade: Tree Farmer

Image

ImageAppearance:
Talila is very short for her people and only stands at five feet and two inches tall, unlike her father and mother who stand well into the seven feet range. Along with being short, she is also petite. Her skin is a light sun-kissed tan that gets a bit darker when the sun is out. Her eyes are a melon green and a bit on the large side, which attracts a lot of people's attention. Talila has medium brown hair that goes down to her butt and straight across bangs. She can be seen wearing dresses a lot or rompers or really anything girly.
Image

Personality:
When a lot of people look at her at first glance or when they talk to her for the first time it may seem like she is shy and to herself, but really Talia is outgoing. She loves to talk about her family trade of raising trees and giving people their bearings. She loves to read and laugh and dance. People may find her a bit weird since she likes to talk to the trees she takes care of, but Talia doesn't mind. It makes her happy and she hurts no one while doing so.

Talila has a problem with confrontation, if something is bothering her she won't say and if someone comes up to her screaming and yelling she shuts down. Talila tries her hardest to make people around her happy, even if it costs her her own comfort.

History:
Talila was born in the spring to the parents of Boromir and Fara Celebrimbor. She is the oldest child out of four and is the shortest out of them all. She has two younger brothers and a younger sister, who is the baby. They are all tall and in the seven feet range. As a child, she loved her family business and calls her siblings fruit. She was a happy child and would try hard to make her parents proud since she felt like her being short made them a bit disappointed in her, which wasn't the truth at all. They loved her all the same.

Her mother and father called Talila their little Thumbelina because they were afraid that they couldn't have children since it had been so hard for them to get pregnant in the first place and doctors told them that it was unlikely for them to bore any children of their own. They had prayed and tried and soon would come to find out that they were having a baby. They could care less if she was tiny, she was theirs and alive and healthy. That was all that mattered to them.

Talia was two when her mother had her baby brother, Elsar, and she called him Apple. His cheeks were red as an apple when he was born and so she stuck with that. She loved him dearly and would grow to be quite close to him. At the age of four, her mother had her other baby brother, Morsar, whom she came to call Fig since she had just eaten figs when her mother had him. He turned out to a little troublemaker. Then at the age of eight, her mother had her baby sister, Nolanora, whom she came to call Peach because she had peachy colored cheeks, and she is very much more outgoing than Talia could ever be.

They four kids grew up and are now close, they call her Cherry since it only seemed fair to calla fruit. Despite her height, Talia works hard along with her family and tries her hardest to make it easier on her parents and siblings since she is the oldest child. When she isn't working in the trees she is out in the market selling the fruit that her family has grown.

Talila giggled, "First a punch and now a ditched date... so many flags." She smirked and started for the restaurant. She liked Lychee but the woman scared her a bit. Her heart was pounding before she took the woman's hand softly in hers.

Elizabeth laughed softly and shook her head a bit. "I wouldn't punch you, Talila. You're way too cute to get punched," she said with a smirk, lifting a hand and poking the little elven girl's nose. When Talila took her hand in hers, she went a bit red but smiled, walking along with her. She was as nervous as could be about this date, just waiting for something to go wrong, but she was trying her best to hold it together and to make it go well.

Talila giggled and walked to the restaurant, "when my cuteness saves me." She smiled and walked into the restaurant with her. They got to their table and ordered their drinks. Talila played with her thumbs, smiling, "so... how have you... I'm been since the last I saw you?" She asked softly.

Elizabeth laughed softly, shaking her head a bit and following Talila into the restaurant. They sat down and ordered some drinks, and Elizabeth shuffled uncomfortably in her seat before looking over at the elven girl when she spoke. "I've been well... spending time with Priscilla, nurturing the shit out of that relationship. And...how have you been?" she asked.

Talila smiled, "I'm glad you two are getting along so well. Makes me happy to hear." She said softly before thinking about it. "I have been okay, the tours are nice. People still love the trees." She smiled. "I... I have been looking forward to this." She said softly.

Elizabeth smiled when Talila said that she was glad they were getting along. "Me too," she agreed with a nod. "I sent a letter to my mother the other day, just letting her know where I'd ended up and what the outcome was. We'll see how long it takes the letter to reach her, I guess," she shrugged. She smiled when Talila said people loved the trees. "Well, good. They're good trees," she said. She blushed a bit at the girl's next words. "I've also been looking forward to this. And super nervous," she said with a laugh.

Talila smiled, "I am sure she is going to be happy to hear from you and relieved. I am sure she worries." She said softly and giggled. "No need to be nervous... I'm the one who should be. You are the cool older woman who has traveled and experience life and all I know are the islands and trees." She said softly. Talila had an idea in her head but she was going to see how the date went first.

Elizabeth nodded in agreement when Talila remarked that her mother probably worried. "Oh, she certainly does," she said. "She's somewhat of a worrier," she shrugged. She smiled a bit when Talila talked about her being experienced and traveled. "Well... maybe that just means that if this goes well, one day you'll let me show you the world," she teased with a smile.

Talila smirked, "sounds like a momma." She said softly. When she said if it would go well she would show her the world Talila blushed hard. "If you can get me on a ship you might as well marry me." She said softly and then blushed harder. "J-just ignore that please." She said, her green eyes going wide.

Elizabeth nodded when Talila said that her mother sounded like a mother. She blinked in surprise at the girl's next words, trying hard not to laugh at how cute and red her face got. She gave a nod when the elf said to just ignore it. "Consider it ignored," she replied calmly. She thought it was pretty cute how flustered Talila seemed to be about such a harmless little joke.

Talila wanted to crawl into a hole and die there. She hadn't meant to say that she didn't want to see the world, because she really did, she was just really scared of the sea and her bipolarness. When Lychee said she would ignore it Talila smiled softly and sat there in silence for a bit till the waitress came over with their drinks and they ordered. When she left the small elf sat there and looked down before out of the window. What was she to say after being so stupidly careless? "I... Uh... I really do wanna see the world, I... I am just... so scared of the sea... t-that's all." She said softly.

Elizabeth looked up when the waitress brought their drinks. She ordered her food and took a sip of her drink, looking over at Talila when she said that she did want to see the world. "And here I was apprehensive about a giant island floating in the sky," she said with a slight smirk. "We could start small. We could go to the city below, and then we could go swimming at the beach," she suggested, shrugging a bit. "You're young. You've got plenty of time to build up to seeing the world."

Talila shrugged too, "I may or may not have time. I could pass away right now or in a hundred and something years. You know what I have always found funny? When logs wash up on shore down below. I have been to the beach down under, swimming is fine... it is being so far away from the shore that bugs me. Anyway back to the logs. You know there are probably no trees in the sea.. or if there were it would be a city underground... but I would think the trees would have rotten and stuff." She said and shrugged. "So you see these logs and just stare at it... whispering where is came from... you know? What life had it seen before its death?" She asked and shrugged, blushing a tad.

Elizabeth blinked when she heard Talila's words. "Well, I mean, hopefully you don't go and die right now. Worst first date ever. I'd be scarred for life," she joked. She blinked when Talila started to talk about trees washing up on the beach from the sea. "I've never thought about that, but you do have a point," she mused, thinking about it for a moment. "Well, wood floats. That's why we use it to make ships. It takes a lot of water exposure to start rotting, so I imagine a tree could make it a good distance on water," she said. "My crew and I once carried a shipment of logs and lumber. I imagine those would start washing up on beaches if we'd capsized."

Talila sighed, "Well one, let's hope that never happens and if it does you can make it back to shore, alive. Two, I know you use wood for ships, silly, but I also know you treat the wood before it hits the water. It is a mystery we may never know." She said and giggled a bit before poking at her drink. "What are some crazy things you have had on your ship as an order?" She asked, trying to make conversation and get to know her a bit more. She enjoyed her sea stories.

Elizabeth chuckled a bit when Talila said they treated wood before it hit the water. "Maybe we should turn some trees loose on the ocean one day, follow them, and see where they end up," she joked, shaking her head a bit and taking another sip of her drink. When Talila asked what kind of crazy things she'd had on her ship before, she smirked a bit. "Definitely the goats. We had to deliver a shipment of young goats bound for a farm across the sea. We put them in the cargo hold, but they seemed unhappy down there, so one night while everyone was sleeping, the first mate and I opened up the cargo hold and brought the goats all up on the deck," she said with a giggle. She paused, thinking, and then her smile faded a bit. "There was one day the captain - we weren't on The Elizabeth, so my stepfather wasn't in charge - brought on board some slaves. Literal slaves. There were five of them - three men and two women - and he put them in the cargo hold and said we were shipping them. I told him no, and he kicked me off the ship for that journey. Said he'd be back to pick me up after they'd delivered the cargo," she said, sighing and shaking her head. "My stepfather was furious when he found out. He fired that captain so fast. Said we don't sail slaver ships - never have, never will."

Talila listened and she giggled at the following the logs, "Now that actually sounds like fun." She said softly. When she started to talk about the goats Talila laughed. "I love goats... especially the ones who just fall over when they get scared. Ugh, they make me giggle so much." She said and when Lychee started to talk about the slaves her smile disappeared. She hated that there were slaves and shew as happy their kingdom refuse to be in such a thing. She had gotten quiet and smiled after a bit, "I am glad you aren't into those kinds of things." She said softly, "You really are a good woman."

Elizabeth laughed a little when Talila said that following the logs would be fun and she nodded her agreement. She smiled when Talila said she loved goats. "They're cute. A few of them tried to hop off the ship, though. They're not the smartest," she said, shaking her head a bit. She smiled at Talila's last words, nodding. "I try," she said softly. "I know slavery is awful. People are fucking people and deserve to be off living their lives, not chained and shackled and forced to do shit they don't want to do. That captain's lucky I never saw him again or I'd have beaten his ass."

Talila saw the good in Lychee, though the woman still scared her. She not only saw her beat that man's face but she was jokingly threatened with getting punched in the face and she was threatened to be ditched on a date. Jokes were funny and all, but she hadn't got the woman mad yet or did she and she didn't know about it? Talila blinked at herself. "There was a trade happening around the islands and somewhat on the islands, but there is this gang who fought them all back and this one girl along with some men took them out and scattered the rest underground. I hear they are still watching out for them to pop up so they can take them out." She shook a bit since she was almost one of those girls a few years ago. The thought about it made her sick a bit but she didn't want to leave the date. "You are a... uhm scary fighter." She said softly.

Elizabeth listened curiously when Talila talked about the human trade happening on the islands, blinking when she saw the way the elven girl seemed to be shaking. She reached a gentle hand out and placed it on top of Talila. Perhaps she was just scared of such things. She smiled a bit when Talila said she was a scary fighter. "Well, I'm a knight. I'm supposed to be a good fighter," she replied. "Being a knight means fighting with honour, though, and only when it's necessary. So...don't think I'm going to be picking fights with people on the street while you and I are out and about," she said with a smile.
