Yuyuko is quite cheerful and friendly - her playful, good-humored personality, otherworldly beauty, and courtesan charm can have a disarming effect. She often makes bizarre and apparently nonsensical remarks and sometimes seems to overlook the obvious, leading to her characterization as an airhead or a ditz. However, at other times she will reveal an extremely cunning and perceptive side and will also sometimes display an extraordinary level of knowledge, but never takes anything too seriously even then. Yuyuko is truly dead and loving it.

Yuyuko generally uses ranged attacks in the form of wisps and spirits, though she has projectiles in the form of butterflies and lasers. Her manipulation of souls is her main power, and she has some power over the living as well as the dead.
Her melee prowess is nothing to be scoffed at either. While a bit slower than most people, Yuyuko can hit with great force, as well as having solid defensive powers.
