KAITO's Story

Kaito looked around from his bed, half awake. What happened? His stomach moaned a little bit. I'm so tired... and hungry. What time is it? He got up and shuffled down the hallway, seeming half dead. He slid his hand across the wall, making sure he didn't fall. He walked into the living room and opened the door to the kitchen, walking in and closing the door behind him. He looked at the fridge and opened the freezer. His stomach say quietly and waited for him. He put his hands inside of the cold and felt around, not finding anything. He began moaning. "But...I'm so hungry... If there's not ice cream what am I supposed to eat." He felt the door of the freezer, finding a tub. "...nevermind..." He closed it and sat on the floor in front of the fridge, hugging the ice cream.

Gumi saw after Miku had charged into the house and followed her. She saw Neru and Zero on the way in and greeted them, "Oh Neru-san, Zero-kun! It's so good to see you! Even though it is pretty early in the morning.... I guess Miku would like a nice leek and carrot soup since she's finally awake."

She walked into the kitchen and saw Kaito eating ice cream and Miku freaking out. "Kaito-kun! It's too early in the morning to be eating ice cream! I'm going to make a nice, warm soup for the both of you for breakfast, okay?" Kuro, that had been sleeping soundly in Gumi's arms, was set onto the table as Gumi started to make the soup. She cut the carrots and leeks and threw them into a boiling pot of cream of mushroom that she found in one of the cupboards. As she was stirring the soup, she asked Kaito, "Hey, Kaito-kun, when did you get up? I think this time of day is the most popular for everyone to wake up...."

(I swear, I think I woke up WAAAAAAAAYYYYY too many times here. LOL Harute, congrats Miku-chan for coming back, btw.)

Kaito remained hugging the ice cream and looked up at Miku. "Miku-chan. See. I know you're name too." He took one more spoonful of ice cream before he saw Gumi. "I guess I can eat some soup, but we need to go and get ice cream later. I'll pick it up after the soup" He got up, still drowsy and placed the ice cream back in the freezer. "You guys need to stop freaking out when you see me in the middle of the night eating ice cream. I was just hungry, so I went to the kitchen for some food and found this frozen heaven." He smiled and brushed himself off.

Ugh... People, squeaky voices... He sighed as the other vocaloids came together. Gumi, Miku, the rest, he was trying to focus on Neru's insults, and playful looks. He took a short glance at the others.

"Ya, ya, soup, ice cream, all that jazz wonderful..." he said showing that he knew that they were there but didn't care.

He turned back to Neru and raised a brow. Something began to interest him about her. So he look at her with gaze.

"The only song Iv'e hear from that mouth of yours is Nuclear Reactor." he said.

He was thinking she might get a little emotional or angry thinking that he may criticize her work.

"The song's meaning is a one of a kind, but, for someone like you to be singing that, makes your voice sound off. What I meant from before as your voice comes off key when you deal with an emotional song. It's understandable, we all know your not one to share emotions, neither am I. But, while I'm here, I would like it if I could hear you sing instead of her you yap." he said to her.

He was trying to be nice, but, he was a smart ass at heart and his heart was asking to hear the work of his personal angel. He looked at the others and waved, finally responding for real for once. They must of been surprise to see him again. However, as much as he was glad to see them as well as get annoyed with them he felt a sudden urge to test them on something. Starting with Neru. From what he learned, the Vocaloid 3 are coming into showbiz and might walk over them. He didn't want that, so, he must help the others with their singing as much as he can.

After all, his voice IS the best of all time.

Well, it was busy for a few minutes after they came into the house. She was half surprised to death when she found a blue haired guy chubing icecream into his mouth, half unconcious guy, made a carrot and leak soup, and attacked her brain to give her the information that was bugging her all the while. She was sure she had just spent the night with Gumi but what did they do? And the last thing she clearly remembered was her laying down in a incubator in Refus's lab. Why was she out here? Had the upgrade gone well? 'I'll have to ask master for it...' she thought to herself as she absontmindedly turned on the TV. They were doing a news on a mob boss and 2 guys being caught last night my a mysterious figure. Also, they have spotted a flying black maniac around the city and was suspecting for arresting the criminals. "Wow, people actually are going crazy...." she murmered as she choped the leak. Then, she suddenly felt a furry smouth sensation next to her feet. She looked down and found a black cat rubbing aganist her feet. "OH!.. Hi there little kitty!!! Where did you come from???" she asked as she picked it up. "Gumi, I think I found a cat in the kitchin. Do you know where it came from???" she asked Gumi.

Kaito glanced at the small cat. "It's so cute..." looked up at the kitchen door, hearing the commotion. He entered the living room and looked at VY2 and Rufus. Then he stared at VY2, starting to smile happily. "VY2-kun! When did you get here?" He smiled and waved at Rufus. "Hi Rufus-sama. What makes you drop by at such a time yourself? Did you need something from master or us? Or perhaps you were looking for VY2-kun?" He looked down the hallway wondering what happened, but returned to looking at the two people. "Well I'll be heading out to go buy ice cream and cat food if you don't mind."

Gumi had her share of the soup she had made, and looked at the table where she thought Kuro had been sleeping. "Eh? Kuro-chan is gone? That's weird... I swear I left her sleeping here." She went into the living room and saw Neru, Zero, Rufus, and Miku holding Kuro in her arms. "Oh Miku-chan! Thank you for holding Kuro-chan for me! Did you enjoy the leeks I bought? And Rufus. What brings you here?" She sat down with the rest of them and held Kuro, petting her fondly. "Puuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrr. Mew!" Kuro leapt out of Gumi's arms and ran into the kitchen. "Kuro-chan! What are you doing, silly?" She followed the kitten into the kitchen and found her lapping at the milk that she had left eariler. She picked her up as soon as she had finished her milk and started to fall asleep again. "kuro-chan, I'm going to introduce you to everyone, okay?" She took her again into the living and announced, "Hey you guys! This is Kuro-chan! She came in my room when the window was open." Kuro looked calmly around the room with her large green eyes. "Mew! Meew!" She yawned and curled up closer to Gumi and fell asleep. "Awwwwwwww, she's so cute when she sleeps!"

Zero was shocked at Neru's outburst. As she stormed off, he stood up and reached a arm out to her.

"Wait I-" he said.

But, she left the room, to her own room, leaving Zero, with questions and a horrible feeling in his chest. He sat back down and sighed, he was at a daze. He was not sure at first what he had said wrong. All he asked was to help her singing. Though, the history of Neru, was ignored by him, as he was always greedily complaining over his own losses to care about the other vocaloids. He always though that the others had it paved with gold. He finally realized something that might of triggered her to run off. He knew she was not as popular as Miku but he totally forgot she was the lazy version of Miku. Just like Yowane Haku. He sighed. Seeing that he was at the wrong end of things.

He was about to go talk to her when the master himself had came and addressed him. He turned and stood up, his body a bit tense being it was him of all people.

"Sir, um, It would see Neru-san had took me in after my managers sold me off to... Um... Nobody, I'm a free vocaloid." he said to him, not wanting anyone to know he was technically owned by Neru as property.

"If you would let me, I'm going to talk to Neru, I may of upset her and I can't let that go." he said.

He waved simply at Kaito who yapped on about icecream and something about him that he didn't seem to care for at the moment. It was just him. Not the others, but, he had his mind set on Neru, and as far as the others know, he hated them for living a luckier life. Though, as much as he hated, he knew they were family so he does not go off like he did the managers at the dinner. He simply wished his jealousy would leave him so he could focus more on people he cared for, like Neru. He went off to her door and knocked.

Kaai Yuki skipped up and down the stairs running errands for Manager-san, she wanted to be useful. Showing that even though she was the youngest she could achieve great things. I mean look at her voice for instance.

Right now Manager-san wanted her to find every Vocaloid and give them a short message.

"There will be a concert the last day of this month, each Vocaloid is to choose one song to sing solo and there will be a vote on a song for the entire group" she quoted Manager-sans words

But now she was a little lost, she just couldn't find nine of the remaining Vocaloids.Luka, Kaito, Neru, VY2, Miku,Gumi,Mato, Rin and Len. She pouted her lip tugging a pig tail in frustration stopping as she hit the bottom step. She had looked everywhere upstairs and down stairs in their giant house twice. Still no sign of them....

"owww... If only i had a cell phone i could text Neru-chan" she whined

Kaito got lost while heading to the store. He stood in the middle of the road, passing in between the cars and looked up. He saw a billboard with a toothpaste add on it he didn't recognize. His couldn't contact the other vocaloids. His eyes flicked from street to street seeing people running with their bags and suitcases. A bench sat underneath the billboard, so he made his way to it and sat on it, catching his breath. He didn't know where he was and he didn't know what to do. He cuffed his head in his hands and thought.

There's nothing I really can do. Nothing here seems familiar. Considering the fact I never pay much attention while I walk. I guess I'll just catch my breath here, and try walking in the same direction I came from.

He sat there with his arms on his legs and his head hung low, breathing softer than before.

Kaito got up off the bench and adjusted himself. "I know I can find my way home." He glanced around at his surrounding, thinking a bit. He spotted a nearby store and made his way to it, avoiding cars and people. They gave him glances, some staring at his hair, being the odd blue color it was. Noticing it he didn't mind, but gave them a warning stare, just to see their responses, then smiled to them.

He walked inside and asked the man the directions back to his house, only to be given another stare and then the answer. He thought a moment. He needed to get some stuff anyways right? Some... ice cream. There was something else wasn't there? ...Cat food!... Cats ate ice cream, right? Yeah. That made the most sense. He found the small freezer set off to the side and pulled out a small carton of ice cream. He constantly kept some money with him if there was ever an emergency. He wondered why it was so crowded, but quickly remembered that it was always like that. He waited in line until he reached the front and paid for it, stepping quickly between the people and leaving, starting to follow the man's directions.

He kept on the sidewalk as he reached the building. "I made it!" He called out as he sighed. How long was he gone? He knocked on the door and stepped inside.

Gumi and Kuro jumped up when they saw Miku come through the ceiling. "Oh, hi Gumi chan..... Good morning..." "Miku-chan! Are you okay??? You look really tired this morning...." She helped her up as Kuro started to rub up against Miku's legs. "Mew!" "Nee, Miku-chan, I think you need some leeks to wake you up." Gumi went over to the fridge and got out two or three leeks and gave them to Miku. She continued to finish the rest of her breakfast as she heard someone knocking on the door. She got up to go answer it, but already seen who had come in. "Oh KAITO-kun! You're back, finally!"

*I am sorry D: Anyway i guess the The Vocaloids are currently choosing songs to sing for a concert at home? Hope this sounds okay *

The Kagamine twins were sleeping peaceful in their beds taking a nap- Both were worn out from previous concerts and their busy schedules. With their fame starting to rise their schedules increased and they ran around like mad men; They took their free time to first take a nap before anything else. Rin Was the first to wake up with a loud yawn,
"How long was i out?Hum...Is Len up yet?" She wondered as she walked out of her personal room to her brothers. She knocked on the door before opening it to be met with Len hugging his Banana plushies sound asleep.
"Len-Kun!Wake up, Wake up! Our nap time is over!" She yelled as she yanked the blonde boys plushie and blankets away-gaining a soft groan. The blond blinked before he sat in his bed slowly.
"Lets go down stairs and see what everyones doing!Race you there!!" She smiled racing out of her twins room down stairs were everyone was.
"Sorry Gumi-Chan, and Miku-chan me and Len Over slept. Oh Hey Kaito-kun how are you!" She smiled as stood against the nearest wall. "Len-kun should be down soon."

"I dont want to!" Len could only whine as his sister ran out of his room- what would he ever do with her. Even after a nap she still came back with a hyper attitude like she just drank five million soda's. Len sighed as he gently climbed out of his bed and made his way down stairs- feeling and looking like a zombie. He smiled at everyone before his eyes fell on Kaito.
"KAITO-SAN! When did you get here!?" Len could only smile as another of his favorite Vocaloids was near him. Len had no idea why but Kaito was about his favorite male vocaloid and he was very close to him---at least that was what it was like on his side.

(Wow,....... I just busted your kitchen roof and nobody heard that????? You guys must have a very well sound proff rooms!!!! Oh, right,... we were vocaloids so we make a lot of noises right????)

"Thanks...." Miku said as she held one of leeks and started to rip off the outer peel. Yes, the leek actually did help as she tried to gather her conciousness so she won't fall asleep on the kitchen floor surounded by all the rubble she had made while she fell threw the kitchen roof with a leek sticking out of her mouth. 'That would have been a very interesting sight....' Miku said as she nibbled on the leek. "Meaw!!!" said Kuro chan as she rubbed aganist her legs like she was asking for something. "Oh, you want a leek too? Kuro chan??? Here you go" Miku said as she broke off a small peice of the leek and gave it to Kuro chan. Surprisingly, the cat sniffed at it for a little bit and ate the peice of leek from her hand.
Then, Miku heard the door opening and Gumi and Len greeting Kaito into the house. "Oh... Kaito Onichan!! Hi!!!" Miku forced the greeting out as she frantically nibbled on the leek to keep her from falling asleep. "Meaw!!!" yelled Kuro chan from between her legs.

Meiko's eyes were blurry as she tried to open them. "... Ugh.... Stupid hangover...." She got up out of bed and looked in the mirror to fix her hair "Another day, another drink, another hangover.... Might as well go eat now...." Meiko changed into a long, pale red dress and went into the kitchen. She saw Gumi and KAITO talking, and Miku eating a leek on the floor with a black kitten. "Nee, what's for breakfast? Miku, why are you on the floor? Get up!" She pulled her up to her feet and took some of the eggs from the plate on the table. As she was eating, Gumi came into the kitchen and saw her. "Oh, Meiko-san! You're awake now!" Meiko continued eating and said hello with her mouth full. "Meiko-san, did you meet Kuro-chan? She's the kitten on the ground! Say hi Kuro-chan!" "Mew!"

Kaito looked up at the ceiling and sighed, only looking up when most of the other vocaloids came in. He smiled at Len and Rin, and then a very... unhappy Meiko. "Hey you guys." He held up the bag. "I'm sorry. I got lost trying to buy something." He shrugged when Meiko went up stairs and so did Miku. "Well... go ahead. Sleep in. When you blow up because of too much sleep, that's not my problem." He thought a bit. "I'll just... think of something later." He sighed. "Len-kun. Come here and get a bowl. The girls must eat healthy, while we get to eat ice cream... Or bananas." He thought a moment. "I'm not exactly sure what Meiko is." He smiled a moment, then ducked to the ground and blocked his head as if she were just going to come down and hit him with something. He looked up at all of them. "Never mind. He got back up and straightened his back." Then he remained thinking a bit. "Do cats eat ice cream? I was going to buy cat food for the kitten, but... I bought ice cream for it instead..." He watched as Yuki hugged Len and shrugged. "Never mind. Just hug people for all I care." He smiled.

Len Had blushed as he by hugged by Yuki as he wraped his arms around the younger girl.
" Yeah i guess, i just havent decided on what to sing.WHat do you think i should sing? Are you singing too Yuki-chan?"
Len Smiled brightly at the girl--he liked Yuki-When he was around the younger girl he gain some 'motherly' personality--Where he gained this from....No one knew.
"You cant blow up from to much sleep.....Can you???" The blonde asked as he gave a confused look.
"Aish! I WANT THE BIGGEST BANNANA SPLIT EVER!!" He yelled jummping smiling brightly as he patted Yuki's head as he smiled at Kaito.
"And i dont think cats can eat ice cream...Do you need me to go run and get some? Unlike some people i wont get lost!" Len teased sticking his tounge out at Kaito smiling.

Kaito smiled and placed his other hand on his head. "Hmm... I thought that cats did. You don't have to. I bet the owner of this kitten will make it some soup or something healthy."He looked at Gumi and shrugged. "I bet she already fed her though." He glanced back over at Len.

"I'll make a banana split. Do you want to share one with me or have your own? Maybe you can share with Yuki. Or Rin. Whichever."

He thought a moment folding his arms. "Of course you can blow up if you have to much sleep... Because you charge up to much and BAM! There goes your circuits... I think... But... Better be safe than sorry."

He walked into the kitchen and pulled out the ice cream from the grocery bag. He opened the fridge and pulled out some bananas, beginning to peel them. He cut it in half, placing them on opposites side of a bowl. he popped off the ice cream lid and took a spoon to scoop it out, placing two scoops in between the banana. "All done." He crossed his arms. "Perfect as always." He held the bowl and took a two spoons, dropping them across each other in the ice cream.

"I am surprised it hasnt happened to me yet. I kinda want to test it...Aish your a bad influence on me!" Len teased as he put on a pout.
Len Smiled as Kaito walked in to the kitchen- following him like a lost puppy he sat on the countar and when the banana's came into his veiw he snached them up and munched on one happily. The younger boy studied Kaito and his actions silently before speaking.
"I could share with you...Dont forget the fudge and the cherrys." He muttered mouth full of banana as he jumped off the counter and grabbed the fudge and cherries from the fridge." Do you want it heated?"He asked motioning to the fudge -to make hot fuge banana split.Len grabed on of the spoons from the bowl and stuck it in the cherry jar before eating one and smiling at Kaito waiting for his reply.


"No thanks-I dont want any." Rin said as she pulled out one her latest magazines she bought and sat on the couch in the living room near Gumi.
"There is never anything good on." She yawned looking at Gumi tiredly.

Kaito smiled at Len. "I"m a great influence. I don't know what you're talking about."

He placed his hand on his forehead. "How could I have forgotten fudge and cherries. We should warm it up. Just put it in a small bowl and it in the microwave or stove. I think that's how it works." Then we can put some cherries on the top. He opened the door for a second looking at Rin. "You must eat healthy. You want an orange?" He smiled and retreated back into the kitchen. "But I get to warm up the fudge, because people under fifteen are not allowed to play with fir- I mean cook." He began whispering. "I mean playing with fire. I don't want them to hear me." He pointed to the door.

Kaito grabbed the fudge and an almost mini bowl, pouring some of it in it. He placed the bowl on top of the stove, setting it to high so it would cook faster.
